Chico’s

I recently visited this boutique and was very impressed with the assistance and friendliness of the employees and the selection/​display of clothing in the store.
There was a very nice lady from Europe (if I am not mistaken her name is Elena) who helped me to select the perfect outfit for my business trip and I got a lot of compliments thanks to her advise. I will gladly visit this place again in my next trip to Laguna Beach.

I’m giving Chico’s five stars? WHAT? The thing is, I bought a black pair of pants here years ago on sale (maybe it just seems like years ago but it was a while ago) and they have really held up. I wear them to work ALL THE TIME and WASH THEM ALL THE TIME and they are still in great condition.
I know, I know… I hear ya: «Chico’s…are you kidding me. That store is for old ladies… it’s downright dowdy… like Queen of England dowdy, it’s Kate Middleton 30 years from now dowdy». I agree 100%. I would not fill up my closet here but I work in a conservative office so need conservative office threads and I don’t like to spend big bucks on a wardrobe for work. I buy basic things for work that I can mix and match and that don’t stand out so I can repeat outfits and nobody is the wiser.
I can’t vouch for the rest of the clothes at Chico’s but these pants are excellent quality for what I bought them for, which is to wear them to death for work and then toss them out. So far they are still going strong… I would seriously check out the sale racks here for basic items that you want to hold up. I usually get my cheapo office stuff at Forever 21 which is really dumb since the clothes there don’t last past a couple of machine washings.

I’ve been in several Chico’s locations and not always experienced the best customer service, but the sales associates in this store have been the friendliest!
