This place is such a treasure. I popped in today for his Apple crisps. They are made with the large round cinnamon crisps that we used to call elephant ears. He only makes them on Friday and Saturday unless you special order. There were only two so I took both and couldn’t resist an éclair. Thought I’d freeze them but they are both gone. They are all huge and rustic looking. My kids love his cinnamon rolls. I’m not a bakery person but Andree’s is just beyond.

We have lived in Paris and enjoyed many butter croissanrs. The one i had at Andree’s was exemplary! My husband chose a cheese Danish and gave it high marks. Andree’s is tiny, charmingly decorated, located in a brick passageway, and offers very friendly service and comfortable seating for about 5. Even the other customers were fun. Highly recommend, definitely to go if there are many of you. They take special orders. It is at the back of the brick walkway.

Ron’s bakery is a hidden gem worth finding. He’s been baking for decades and has a strong following. Come early in the day when there’s a nice selection and everything is fresh from oven.

I work next door to the bakery and I love the coffee and pastries more than any other bakery. The coffee is so good it doesn’t even need sugar. Ron is hilarious and I respect him as a baker, businessman, and friend. Ham and cheese croissants and Copenhagens are my fav.

I didn’t find it as amazing as the reviews said. It was pretty hard to find hidden down an alley off of the road. We specifically found this bakery looking for cinnamon rolls and they didn’t have any. What we had was very good, the selection just wasn’t very abundant. PS there is NO restroom. The gentleman at the counter was less than chipper. I guess I am just used to Las Vegas service.

Small bakery, few blocks away from the most touristy part of the laguna. Not great deal of choices which is actually wonderful, as it truly is opposite of corporate run chains. We got there around 9am and they’re already out of some of the popular items. Had the almond, chocolate and spinch cheese croissants. They were delicious. Crisp outside, and moist inside. The croissants here are more dense and heavier then the traditional european bakeries but they were nonetheless made with love and care. Was told the baker/owner Ron gets up around 3am each day to put in the work and has been doing this for almost 3 decades. which really makes me feel ashamed to stroll in at 9am.

Owner is quite rude, most people around the area say this happens kind of often. Catches you off guard if you don’t «know» him and find it endearing?

Baked fresh daily, the pastries are delicious. There is nothing better than a cup of hot coffee and a hand made pastry fresh out of the oven to start your morning. In addition to coffee and pastries, customers are also able to purchase sandwiches of various varities on fresh baked potatoe bread. Definitely the place to be or be seen if you are a Laguna local or even if you’re visiting from out of town.

Tucked away behind Selanne’s, this is a local gem. Delicious bear claw and way too many yummy options that I’ll have to go back to try. The guy working was super nice. Great way to start the morning!

Down a tiny corridor courtyard a couple blocks north of the Surf & Sand Hotel, you will find Andree’s Patisserie. Seek it out, because Andree knows baking! The croissants were warm, flaky and buttery. The ham & cheese croissant was a delicious meal. It’s one of those French bakeries that you’ll be glad you don’t live near, because it’s addicting.

No attitude and great pastries. Come here and get an old school taste of Laguna. Support local!

Wow! This place is amazing! I was just saying that Laguna needed a cute homemade bakery that has amazing pastries and little did I know there was one! Thank goodness for Unilocal! This place is awesome! You will not be disappointed in anything you buy. The almond crossiant is the best I have had since France. Seriously.

Ron was friendly and talkative this morning as he served waiting regulars and tourists upon opening at 7:38. We ate butter and almond croissants with breakfast. Butter croissant was flaky, chewy, and surprisingly filling. Almond croissant had a rich and saturated taste, and was even more filling. After lunch on the road we dug into our remaining baked treats, and the blueberry muffin was better than the croissants! I’m a baker, and blueberry muffins are tricky. The oatmeal cookie was crisp and delicious. We haven’t eaten the chocolate croissant yet. Report to follow on that. Coffee was good, says my wife. This place is a gem, and when you are in Laguna Beach in the morning you must sample several of Ron’s delights. Selection is comprehensive and prices are extremely reasonable. Everything was freshly baked when we entered. Update: Rest of the blueberry muffin was still delicious the following afternoon, as was the chocolate croissant. Croissant went well with almond butter and manchego cheese during lunchtime drive into Bay Area. Oatmeal cookie was crumbly and chewy to the last morsel.

FANTASTIC! Must try the croissants they are to die for. Fresh, buttery, and flaky, much better than Scandia. Get there early before they run low on your favorites.

In search of the best croissant in Orange County, I finally found Andree’s Patisserie. Buttery with a hint of salt, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside — just the way a croissant should be. Andree’s Patisserie is a bit of a challenge to find, but worth the search — and much closer than a trek to Paris. Look for the small sidewalk sign leading to the Patisserie.
