Top Nail and Foot Spa

Prices were average but not cheap. Seemed cleaned enough. Pedicure was ok, the leg massage was very short and more just rubbing in the lotion. The manicure was horrible. I have paint all over my skin and my nails are uneven. Could have done a better job myself and really regret spending $ 35 bucks on it

One of the worst nail salons I’ve ever been to. I used to go here all the time just because I couldn’t find a decent nail salon in Dutchess County. For starters the décor just looks very boring & dirty & the service is horrible! They will take 100 customers and tell them they have to wait ten minutes, when in reality you have to wait 30 minutes. They just do not want to turn down anyway to make money. They will also rush you if they see someone waiting next which is not fair because I am paying for my services like everybody else. They also do not have any of the prices listed on the wall because they are rip offs & want to charge some people more than others. I will not go back here ever again, I’d rather do my own nails!!! And another thing they do is try to force/​con you into doing more expensive services like getting the «gel» manicure and telling you how bad your eyebrows look so that you can get them done there. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I used to go here also. the reason things went downhill fast is because their partner threw in the towel with all their disrespect towards clients, and left to open his own salon called «Hollywood Nails & Spa». Its not far from Top Nail, and its more upscale. Prices are the same, service is way better too. They offer Kurig Coffee and Bottled Waters free. Oh and you wont see people sleeping all over the place when they arent busy lol

I had a similar situation although I am a first time customer. Went in just for a pedi and was told my eyebrows needed work and they looked funny. I was a bit shocked by the statement coming from someone who is supposed to treat a customer with some respect. I had never had them waxed so I thought I would give it a try. They came out ok but my eyebrows were red and blotchy for two days. Place was a little too dirty for my taste and I was hoping for a little more courtesy. I too took out my credit card and the guy pointed in my wallet at the cash. I only had enough for a tip and when I gave it to him, no thank you. Just expected it. I am sure they are wanting cash so they don’t have to report the income. The pedi was good but there are so many other nail salons I will just go somewhere else.

Going down hill fast. Owners used to be friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately it seems once you become a regular they feel the right to treat you poorly. Constantly trying to blame customers for not taking care of their nails correctly, pushing waxing services by saying you NEED it, and not even bothering to say thank you any longer when a tip is given. If you go in and need to wait for an available nail tech., they will tell you ten minutes even when they know you will be waiting at least 40. That’s getting really old. I was actually ‘scolded’ for choosing a color that takes too long to dry (who would have thought that — it was from their choices) and rudley told to go pick another. Being a regular, I also think the owner felt it was appropriate to actually point to and touch the cash that was showing in my wallet as I was handing her my credit card to pay. She told me that I DO have cash. I never said I didn’t! The last straw for me was definitely the lack of a thank you or even acknowledgement for the tip I left and I’ve always been a generous tipper. Feel like I have been more than patient. I have thought of bringing this to the attention of the owners but since they are the problem and its just been getting worse fast, I decided to switch to another salon. For me getting my nails done (acrylic fills mostly and pedicures) should be a mini chance to sit down, relax and walk out feeling great. Top Nail is NOT that place for me anymore.

the person in this salon that just did my daughters nails was rude and didnt listen to her when she said she wanted her nails shorter!!! now we paid $ 30 and she is extremely unhappy with the length of her nails. not fair… learn to listen to your customers!!!
