We had a great experience at this Lafayette store. We received wonderful, helpful customer service from employee Robert who transferred data(without charge) from our old computer to the new one after his other suggestions did not work. He was professional and knowledgeable about the iPhone and iMac that we purchased and made check-out and payment easy. We will take our Apple business here instead of driving over an hour to Indianapolis.

A very important review to read. I had very high hopes when I took my mac to Simply Mac thinking that something would be done to help me out with my issues I was having. The employees who helped me when I first dropped my mac off were very professional and helpful. I asked them to call me if they were going to do anything that would cause charges, I received no call. So if I figured my Applecare would be covering the cost. When I got the call to come and pick it up it was confirmed that there would be no cost for me because of my Applecare. Now, when I went to go pick it up they said it would be a $ 75.00 charge. I ended up not having to pay it since I adamantly said was told by the person on the phone it was covered and the lady I dropped it off to that they would call me if there was a charge. The supervisor was rather rude to me as well. I will not be going back there ever again, I will be taking the drive to a real Apple store. To top it all off, my computer is worse off than it was before, losing battery faster and opening everything slower than before. I definitely would not recommend the this store if you plan on courteous employees who stay true to their word. Very unhappy.

It’s awesome to now have a store with Apple specialists in Lafayette. I’ve had two experiences in the last two weeks at Simply Mac and really appreciate the great customer service and knowledge of the employees. The first issue was a warranty issue on my iPhone 6+. They gave me a loaner phone, at no cost, while mine got returned to Apple for replacement. Sweet! During that visit, I discussed upgrading an older laptop and was given great advice which lead to my second visit… Specifically one employee, Dillon, went out of his way to help me upgrade the hard drive on my MBP and transfer a huge number of files while I waited. My upgraded laptop is just as fast as a brand new MBP, and the total upgrade was done at a fraction of the cost of a new laptop. I highly recommend using Simply Mac for new computer purchase, or issues with your idevices. They will take care of you!!!

Such a convenience to have this store so close and not have to go to Indy. I was given incredible customer service and they made me feel like they truly wanted to help with my problem. Will definitely keep coming back for all of my apple needs!

It looks cool with the stuff apple sells… But they probably don’t have anything in the back. The sales people don’t answer, hang up, tell me Verizon would send me there. But, they can’t help me. My phone battery and broken button are on the Apple iPhone5 recall… But mine doesn’t apply? Also, I can mail in my phone for a week and have no loaner… How about no. Not even a loaner for sale to rent! They wanted to go to the back and show me how to open the case to my phone and do the repair myself… However, they have no loaner phones, they have no parts mine needs… Were they going to show me on my own phone?! No way. I don’t want to find out. Can I see his Apple Certification for repairs as you touch my phone as I have it removed from my LIFEPROOF brand case? Yikes! A week ago on phone I was told the top button could be repaired in store in 30 minutes for $ 30. Today I was hung up on early but went in, they were open. I learned they can do Nothing at all for me besides tell me to you tube how to open an iPhone5 case but he doesn’t have the part for me and an apple certified store employee can’t tell me the apple part number I need to replace the broken piece once I crack open the phone? So why will I open my phone to replace no part myself? Does this make sense to anyone? No one else can help me. Oh, but when I offered he suggested that it is a FABULOUS idea to drive an hour on Sunday in winter if I could make an appointment this week(today apple at keystone indianapolis was booked). I have work. I was told a week ago they could fix it. Today I got told suction cup off my case myself and fix it with an unknown part. The YouTube video is great! Oh my gosh. No way! This store is horrible and the customer service was very poor and I don’t trust them with my phone and as the prior review says(that will be Unilocal filtered most likely) I have to agree that is likely a legit review. I do not trust this store, staff, or customer service on ANY level for a repair or purchase. Steve Jobs(genius innovator and founder) would not like what has happened today! I place zero trust that my phone would be safe and returned repaired in one week. I was worried they would drop it and give me someone else’s refurbished phone in two weeks. Also, I feel something would happen, to my phone! I will never return here. Not to repair. Not to purchase. I can google and YouTube at home without wasting a trip to the store when they could have told me that on the phone a week ago. I do not feel comfortable to trust this place. I feel there was no credentials or apple knowledge evident. Overall, I am still stumped. I can youtube my heart out on how to crack into my iPhone case… But where is the part or part number I will be replacing my broken power button I came in to have working? I stood at the simple answers desk and was told to do it myself and watch Internet videos that certainly aren’t made by apple! Wow. 0⁄5. This store provided me 0 of anything today. In fact, they wasted my time and the trip to them was useless. My phone is still broken and I have no answer beside to YouTube it. Guess what sir… I am going to GOOGLE it just because I feel like googling for a part number perhaps. I don’t plan on breaking my phone worse on my own responsibility when I have no replacement piece or known knowledge of why the top button isn’t working. Simple Mac = anything opposite of all Apple has forever dreamed to be. This is no apple place. It’s like the generic plastic Barbie rather than a Mattel. Seriously, horrible. I fear for my phone had i let them have it. I fear to let my friends bring their stuff here. I fear a purchase of what I get is even new or not and if it would even be in stock. Looks awesome inside like a small apple place. The moment you call, talk, ask to purchase, or ask to repair… They are just an apple look. This store could serve well as a «Simple Display» of apple products and then customers can buy and repair them somewhere else. Save your money any time. You can YouTube apple products for viewing online too! Haha. Horrible store. Scary lack of knowledge and means to look it up or call another store for help… YIKES. Don’t do it! I respectfully will not return. I care about my products and wasn’t even comfortable to hand mine over the counter! I hope he wasn’t going to show me how to open a phone on MINE! Also, if there was a spare in back, how were they out of loaners. No answers, I only have more questions now, a still broken phone, and a poor review to have written to warn others of my experience and I hope theirs goes better. I won’t be finding out again myself! Good luck!
