I feel bad for anyone who has to eat here. Alex S. must have lost his mind. I’ve had to eat here for months due to work and apart from the price of breakfast the rest is junk. Service: on way more then one occasion I’ve waited 20 minutes to get a menu, when there were only a few people in the restaurant. Then was given attitude about it. I’m sorry you hate your job and your life and your boyfriend was humping some other woman, but I don’t need to or care to hear it. They are unprofessional, slob’s and slow not to mention there is no management or accountability. So now onto the menu. If you like fried, fried, fried, with a side of butter soaked over cooked vegetable that a quadriplegic could eat through a straw then you have found your place. Given that, they have closed the restaurant for«renovation’s» perhaps its to get rid of the roaches that live in the rest of the hotel. If it weren’t attached to a hotel then it wouldn’t exist. There have been great staff that have worked there but the hotel management seems to always fire them for doing normal things like wanting time off. Good luck and see you across the street at Chili’s

Located on the hotel premises of the Best Western Acadiana, Mustang Sally’s is a great option for breakfast and reasonably priced local food. It also serves a solid place to enjoy happy hours and group outings all within the comforts of a hotel. Its spacious, group friendly, but unfortunately empty during all of my visits here. The service here was impeccable. The waitresses were super cute but were nice on top of that. It could’ve been the Southern charm, but I was blindly choosing random dishes they had recommended and I’m certainly glad I did. The cajun grilled catfish was delicious and the macaroni cheese was out of this world. Favorite times here have always been breakfast(see picture) as their omelettes, circular shredded hashbrowns, and potato pancakes have won me over as a real fan.
