Eww, just eww! VERY dirty I know it’s fast food but even if you just grab a cup of coffee or need to use the restroom it should be clean Terrible service There are many better/healthy options nearby– even to keep up with Caffino you have a long way to go! Step it up people!

The place is clean. Customer service is bad. Cashiers are very rude and is obvious they don’t want to be there.

Really clean McDonald’s! The décor is much nicer than other McDonald’s as well., and they have a tv! Other outlets are usually ghetto but this one isn’t. The toilet was clean as well. Will come back here if I crave McDonald’s in the future.

Cheeseburger great. But, major disappointment from a McDonald’s, there was way too much salt added on French fries, so had to throw them out.

This place e was disgusting. The bathroom was nasty! I wouldn’t even let my kid go in the play structure because it looked gross and being mcdonalds the food was questionable even more so that usual!

As a Lafayette resident and as a parent, I should be happy this McD has a play area. I wish I were. Food: My food is rarely hot. I’ve actually turned back fries that were obviously sitting for a while. Service: This is by far one of the worse McD for customer service. Employees are surly looking and rarely friendly. Cleanliness: the kids area rarely looks like it’s been cleaned. This last time there was a burger in the shoe cubby. Food all over the floor. I go to this location only when I have to but I would rather take my son somewhere else. It gets two stars for convenience.

Writing this review makes me want to go on a late-night McDonald’s run. This is probably one of the best McDonald’s locations in the East Bay. The swankiness of the interior décor makes me want to stick around a little longer than I normally would in a fast food place. Yeah, I realize I’m giving 4 stars to a McDonald’s. But seriously, though. In the world of McDonald’s, this location deserves a little recognition.

I don’t usually eat at McDonalds but sometimes I have a Filet-O-Fish craving and I was bowled over by the service provided at this location. I mean, I never expected such a wonderful and awesome service. This McDonalds interior is designed very well — much different and much better than any other McDonalds and the employees are genuinely caring and sweet. Well, I eat their Filet-O-Fish minus cheese, mayo and bread(substitute with gluten free bread and fresh veggies and tomatoes) and some spicy ketchup or Sriracha and voila! This is an amazing restaurant for both sit-down(especially for kids) and takeout(great service)

Meh, I’ve experienced better. «McDonald’s latest attempt to win customers over,» reads today’s headline news. Coincidentally, I had a poor experience that lost a customer today. Today, at the Lafayette McDonald’s, it was a near empty store with no line, even during rush hour. I haven’t been to McDonald’s in maybe a decade. After my experience, it likely won’t be for another decade. The disappointment came with the customer experience during a request to add lettuce and thousand island sauce to a burger. At the end of the order as I gave my credit card, the cashier stated it would cost extra. Policy must have changed as it never cost extra to add tomato, lettuce, onion, sauces, per customer request. The manager checked in to confirm. It was $.40 for lettuce and $.40 for mac sauce. That’s +$.80 to a $ 2.40 burger so it was $ 3.20(advertised as a $ 2.00 Bacon McDouble). I’ve attached a photo of my burger — is it worth it, at $ 1, $ 2, or any price? So as a customer, here’s my peeve — if you know a customer is already selective, picky, or making special requests and placing a larger order for multiple people(my order was over $ 10.00), then isn’t it worth it to invest effort into customer care so that the ordering experience and food quality wins the customer. Pro Tip McDonalds — this one is free, I’m not going to charge you extra: The marketing department loves to blow millions of company dollars on LOVIN’ IT campaigns. Instead of the A/C and contemporary design of your restaurant, how about blowing millions on hiring excellent customer care reps, paying your workers a livable fair wage, so the workers can actually like coming to work and putting passion into the food they make? That will solve your problems more than any b.s. trendy marketing campaign that fails to translate into the actual customer experience. To credit this location, it’s in beautiful Lafayette, within a 10-minute walking distance to Lafayette BART, and solid bike parking rack off Mt. Diablo Blvd. Watch it on the sidewalk of the drive-thru, don’t want to get hit by a soccer mom driving her SUV, stuffing her face with french fries, while recklessly late to her kids game.

Hands down my favorite McDonald’s. A/C is nice in the summer, well heated in the winter, and extremely contemporary design. I’ve been a regular patron for about 7 years, and almost every week/every day in the past 2. How I’m not dead or fat. I don’t know. Great atmosphere, free WiFi helps more than you can imagine, and decently good staff. They let you bring bikes indoors, which is great. Did you know that the aluminum emeco chairs that they use cost $ 500 each, and the tall ones around back cost $ 750? Wait times are OK and vary depending on the time of day. Only gripe is no napkins in the bathroom, but that’s pretty consistent with other McDonald’s 5 stars!

I live in Walnut Creek, but I choose to drive to this McDonald’s because the one in WC is disgusting and rude. I also like the fact that this one has a drive thru. I come quite often, well more like once a week Well today, I went there. The drive thru lane was so long, and I was so hungry. I got my sweet tea first, I took a sip and it wasn’t sweet tea. I told the guy so he switched it put for me. When I got it back, he gave it to me with the straw on the side. & since it was already the second time and I didn’t wanna keep the people behind waiting, I wasn’t going to stay there and open the straw and take a sip first. Well I got home, and guess what? It was not sweet tea, I don’t even think it was tea. If it wasn’t a dollar, I’d be mad pissed. THANKSSIR, not.

Mcdonald’s here is unique. signs are posted at every parking space of a possible $ 20 fine if the car’s owner isn’t eating at Mcdonald’s eats: mighty wings(3/3.5) –chicken midjoint piece is cooked twice, first steamed/broiled, then deep fried. –meat is tastless, crispy skin with spicy sauce fab –ranch sauce also very deliz. –real chicken meat, not real taste 3 stars. brew: coffee(1) –smooth coffee, drips: –quick, friendly service.

McDonald’s is one of my secret shames: I’m sadly hooked on the $ 1 sodas, and with the temps pushing 90°F [at the time] yesterday and a tot who was toasty, it seemed an ideal pause to refresh. And a pause it was. Parking aside — I won’t fault their small lot given I was in a 30-foot long truck(stole two metered spots on the street, all’s well) — the counter service was quite slow, more so considering it was the lunch hour rush. More than a few chaps in day-glo work shirts seemed frustrated at the speed between receipt-in-hand and Big Mac-in-hand. But eventually, the order came out. No apple slices in the Happy Meal, but we worked around it. Sticky floors in the kiddo area near the play structure, seating was limited(one table, three chairs, one was sticky/wet), and a communal table. We «stuck» with the two remaining chairs at the table. My Dependent had an okay time playing, working around the 7-year-old throwing his Tonka truck down the slide while his mom«supervised» him, perhaps vicariously through the iPhone app her eyes were glued to throughout the visit. Shake for the road? Excellent idea. Ordered, waited, waited, waited… a solid 5 minutes or so. For a shake. But as the orders were prepared with meticulous precision(hence the slow service, certainly), it was to be expected. What probably had me most impressed was, having«snuck» into McDonald’s in West Oakland, the ‘burbs of Sacramento and a host of places in between, I’d held higher expectations given I was in Lafayette. That said, my McNuggets were hot, only a shade darker than golden, and I’d managed to twice refill my $ 1 addiction.

After picking my Son up at SFO, we took BART back to the Lafayette Station to pick up the car and go home. However, my handsome 17-year old(has time flown so quickly?) was ‘starving” and wanted a burger. With that in mind, I headed down Mr. Diablo Blvd. and pulled into the first fast food place I could find. This actually a pretty cool looking McDonalds. It features muted gray tones and padded seating, and modern architectural and technology(flat screen TVs) touches. But it’s still a McDonalds. The line also moves faster at Drive-Thru.

it is one of the cleaner Mickey D’s that I’ve been too. It has an indoor playland that keeps my son busy. I was in and out pretty quickly… but the food is kind of plain

Let me start off by saying I hate McDonald’s food and don’t think anyone should be eating this stuff. I only come into this McDonald’s because friends insist on it. My review is for the condition of the restaurant and the employees. The remodel done to this McDonald’s looks great. Service is quick and the staff is friendly. They have a huge play place that kids seem to enjoy, though it gets pretty loud in there. There’s a flat screen tv in the center of the restaurant that’s usually streaming news channels, which I find out of place for a McDonald’s but it gives me something to look at. It seems to be relatively clean inside the restaurant and I see employees constantly clearing tables of left over wrappers. There’s plenty of free parking in their parking lot though getting in and out is tough if the drive through line is long and blocks half the spaces. To sum up: McDonald’s food is disgusting but I’ll give this particular branch credit for going above and beyond to appear«nice».

Nicest McD’s I have ever been in. Muted gray tones furniture, including a padded corner booth like a waiter service restaurant, 2 flat panel TVs inside the dining area, 2 nogahide leather like lounge chairs that would make the Starbuck’s down the street jealous, and an indoor Habitrail playpen for the little hamsters(not real, actual hamsters, but your rug rats!) And how many McDonald’s have you been in that have floating plexiglass mounted modern art works on the walls? They may only be cheap prints, but still. You won’t find that in the McDonald’s on Van Ness in the City. Or in any Micky Dee’s in Oaktown. And of course, being in the toney suburb of Lafayette, the clientel is largely Riff Raff free. Except for the occasional leaf blower on break seeking a carb load. Da da da ti daaaaa, I’m loving it!
