LaField’s catered a huge organic dessert bar at my wedding reception. The wedding was a month ago and I still crave their desserts on a daily basis. That is 100% not an exaggeration. And here are some more embarrassing truths to testify to LaField’s amazingness: The next morning after the wedding, I went on this texting tirade with my family and friends trying to find any dessert leftovers. I needed them for breakfast. Who does that the morning after their wedding? Oddly yet completely understandably so, I had a few guests ask for the contact information of the dessert bar caterer so they could write LaField’s a thank you email and find a way to hire them. Not only did I get several compliments from guests at the reception over the dessert bar, but my wedding guests basically stole all the leftovers. Yes, this kind of annoyed me. But on the other hand, can I blame them for doing this? No. I cannot.
Here’s the the lineup of desserts I ordered: salted caramel brownies, brown butter snicker doodles, mixed berry tarts, chocolate dipped strawberries, and mini lemon tarts. I could write more paragraphs about why they tasted so delicious, but I’ll just narrow it down to one since this review is getting long. The mini lemon tarts. Homemade crusts, candied lemon zest and a hint of basil on top. This combination of subtle flavors accenting the lemon custard filling was drool inducing and exquisite. They were incredible. You cannot find or make this stuff on your own in this state, maybe even country. I’m not kidding. If you are a dessert person, you can taste, see and appreciate the level of skill, quality, and time that goes into the desserts. I felt like LaField’s cared that I had a top notch dessert bar. They totally delivered beyond my expectations and were fun to work with. I was very happy I found LaField’s and look forward to finding another excuse to hire them. :-)

My wife and I had Lafields Cakes and Catering at our wedding reception. Michelle made the most beautiful Hawaiian themed cake we had ever seen. She even hand-​made the flowers on the cake.
Not only were we impressed by how the caked looked, but we’re more impressed by how it taste.
She not only made the cake, but also prepared a wonderful arrangement of finger foods that complemented our Hawaiian themed wedding celebration perfectly.
All of our guests enjoyed the food and cake and complimented us on how good everything was. EXCELLENT JOB MICHELLE!!!

LaField’s Catering is a little undiscovered gem of a caterer. We recently hired Michelle (owner) for my wife’s 50^th birthday party and were completely blown away by the responses by our 70+ guests who raved about the food and desserts. Michelle was trained at Le Cordon Bleu and put in a few years at Jose Andres «The Bazaar», and it shows. The food was impeccable but her specialty is pastries. The salted carmel chocolate miniature cupcakes were the party favorite and birthday cake (pink roses) was gorgeous! All my wife did was send in a picture of what she wanted and presto! A picture perfect cake arrives at our door. I highly recommend LaFields, they are punctual, tidy, super duper friendly and attentive. Now we are looking for another reason to throw a party to invite them back!
