JCPenney has been strange as of late, with their attempt to become a store with a high-​end Wal-​Mart pricing structure. They have reverted to their «door-​buster» and coupons system, but the internal layout makes the place feel like a collection of semi-​related stores. Sort of a mini-​mall within the mall, but at least with a united checkout (I think0.
With that said, I tend to do most of my clothes shopping here due to the presence of coupons and their store credit card. However, for most things that I would consider, they tend to have something I like. Perhaps not trendy, but I’m no fashion expert. Their prices are not outrageous, and the sales help make them competitive with similar stores.
Still, the new division based on brands is so weird!

This store is so bogus! They let people put stuff on hold, then don’t take down their name and number! I waited around for 3 hours to buy an item and they said it was on hold but they didn’t have a way to contact the person to let them know someone else wanted to purchase the item. What a dumb store to let keep merchandise instead of selling it! Not good business skills! Crappy customer service if you ask me!!!
