Comcast Service Center

No one had to come set up the service because my apartment was cable ready. I’m glad for that. My only problem with Comcast is that I’m not getting the internet speed I’m paying for. Can’t

We moved to a new house, 4 minutes from our old place. Our neighbors have Comcast. The people across the street have Comcast. Yet, we’ve been told they have to submit a ticket to see if we can get it. 15 days later, numerous calls with incompetent sales people saying rude remarks, and a growing impatience has led is to pick a new service. Ridiculous. They only got one star from me because I HAD to pick a star.

I have never waited less than 45 minutes in this office. There is always an unused work station and not enough employees. The people are fine and friendly when you get there but the experience is awful. I finally switched to Metronet and have been much happier and am saving money. Comcast is just the worst.

As a student here at Purdue University I’m astounded by the lack of helpfulness and service provided by this company to students here in West Lafayette. I’m a fairly social person and have a lottt of connections on this campus and have heard nothing but bad things about xfinity wifi. We’ve gotten two brand new routers and have had the same issue with both of them. They are never online which doesn’t allow us to access internet at all. I lived in a cramped apt last year so there’s no way it was a too much space away from the router issue. Honestly I’ve spent ⁴⁄₅ of the time without wifi and ¹⁄₅ of the time with wifi with this company. So my question is why do I even pay my bill when I’m not paying for any provided service? I’m not the only one with this issue either, I have friends on campus who had had 3,4,5 routers and modems replaced and had countless technicians come out to attempt to assist them with service. Some provide temporary fixes, while others don’t do anything. I’m sorry comcast but as an internet provider to most college campuses in Indiana you’re almost scamming people out of money due to lack of service. Sorry for the harshly worded review, but the opinions of me and my peers need to be heard in a way that will hopefully improve the quality of your product in the future.
