Who really comes to the Bayou to eat Chilis… Anyway, we ended up here b/c the original place we wanted closed at 9PM. Really? 9PM? On a weekend? Anyway, there was nothing special about this Chili’s, seeing as though there is nothing special about any other chili’s I really didn’t expect much. It was cold, loud, and the service was mediocre at best. I think mediocre is a stretch. I waitress was good, although I could tell she wasn’t used to serving a big party. But after waiting for an hour for a table. It was between this and IHOP, and as they say hindsight is 20⁄20. I would have gathered breakfast for dinner, than chilis.

The waiter i had for lunch was attentive, got everything right, happy, and gave us drink to go. No problem here so far. will return.

Service was a little slow but that was ok the issue was the food. It used to be much better. But the past couple of times it wasn’t very good. The first time I ordered take out and it was below par but I decided to give it another try and we went as a family. We quickly learned the last order wasn’t a fluke. Their quality of food has gone down. I passed in front of their kitchen and there was food all over the floors, totally disgusting. I do have to say our waitress and the manger were helpful. We had to send back some food and the new order came quickly but still not the same as it once was.

This was my first visit to a Chili’s with the new automated touchscreen checkout device located on the table, and I feel like they are already starting to slack on the wait staff in anticipation of these more robotic systems. Our server, although very nice, did not have a competent grasp on his job role. He didn’t know the menu, didn’t seem to understand what we were saying, and was not attentive to the table’s needs. It seemed like he was on his first day and no one showed him what to do… Our touchscreen, on the other hand, did a great job! When it was time to pay, it showed us the bill, immediately took my credit card payment, automatically calculated and added the tip percentage I entered, and printed me a receipt. Perhaps if the touchscreen took our order too… The food was typical Chili’s… just what I was expecting in selection and taste. We had some yummy beef nachos, shrimp fajitas and kid’s chicken fingers. All tasty. BOTTOMLINE: Lesser service in terms of wait staff… is it because of the new and increasingly tasked automated systems? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Good service, usually very busy on saturday evenings. Try the two for $ 35 deal. Includes appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 margaritas plus dessert. Great deal

I will think seriously before ever going to another Chili’s restaurant. Upon entering I overheard an exiting couple commenting they had lost 30 minutes of their driving time due to it taking that long just to get the ticket after they had finished their meal. I should have heeded this warning. I ordered the Spicy Shrimp Taco’s. This item was shown on the menu with marinated shrimp, oriental coleslaw and a avocado wedge. My dish came it looked very different. I can no way call the cabbage they put on the taco’s slaw. They just put cabbage on it and barely drizzled a dressing on it. And the Avocado was a JOKE! It was not even a quarter of a wedge and from the color of it, it was most likely yesterday’s left over as there was browning on it. On a positive note, my unsweetened tea was good.
