The Timbers

This place is a crap hole. I lived here back in 2011, because I was getting ready to move up north and wanted to save some money because the rent was very affordable at $ 700 for a one bedroom. But you also have to pay wsg on top of that which is $ 55/​month then pay to wash your clothes in their gross laundry facilities. The manager at the time, I don’t know if she is still there, was always rude only time she was nice to me is when I was moving in. There were a lot of things that needed to be fixed before I moved in and when I moved in none of them had been completed. It took almost 3 weeks of nagging them to fix the things that should have been fixed prior to me moving in. The windows are old and always accumulating moisture and creatinng mildew, and the celings have aspestos. I never felt safe the neighbors look like druggies. The place was flithy when I moved in, I had to clean everything before moving my stuff in. They were working on the property when I was moving out, so it could be better now, I don’t know. I do know that when I was moving out they requested that I write a review on
which they currently have a 68% on there, which I don’t doubt 98% of those reviews are from people who received a gift card.

Three things:
1: This apartment community double charged me rent one month. Somehow they ran the same check twice. Then took months to give me my money back. After the first month, asked if it could just count towards that months rent, of course they said no, I had to stroke them a new check while they currently had my money held up somewhere.
2: My tabs expired and they told me if I didn’t renew my tabs by the next day, that they would tow my car. In addition, the notice they left me wasn’t nicely tucked into my windshield wipers, it was a big 6″ by 8″ STICKER that they put directly on my drivers side window that I spent an hour peeling off.
3: The Parking here is terrible, if you don’t get home before 6pm on a Fri, Sat or Sun night, just plan on parking down at fred meyer and walking up.
Don’t rent here, this place is miserable and management treats you like anything but a paying customer.

Where do i even start, first and foremost the management are terrible in every which way. people who live here feel like they are POW’s, one particular lady (brunette late 20’s) is rude and very aggressive and darn right mean (not just one person’s opinion but every tenant i have met.)
Teenagers hang around yelling and screaming messing with peoples cars, and the management tend to let themselves be able to enter your apts when and wish they like, so far 9 times in the last 6 months for no reason at all (you really have no rights here).
and when you do move out they will not return your deposit even if you leave it in better shape than when you moved in. Scam all the way here, avoid at all costs.
