My daughter and I stopped in based on their Unilocal location because we were just looking to pass an hour or so. She had the Nutella, Banana and Ice Cream half waffle. I had the maple bacon half waffle. With two bottled waters, the total barely cleared $ 12. The ambience is kind of a Starbucksish Coffee house feel. Relaxed and more casual than that though. The food is very visually appealing and tastes as good as it looks. We were very pleased with both the prices and the quality of the food. Delicious. I Highly recommend this place and will definitely come again when we are back around this area.

What caught my attention to this café was the spelling of «Wahfles», so after yoga I was looking forward to trying it out. The organic jasmine green iced tea and a half order of Wahfles with banana and Nutella was yummy! Liked it so much I went back 23 days later to try their Wahfles sandwiches(California sandwich) and it was 2 thumbs up!

So let me start off by saying, this place has become my favorite spot to go to. I pretty much stop by here everyday if I can. Has different seating ranging from high tops, to low tops, a «family style» table great for getting some work done as well as lots of outlets to keep your gadgets going for work or studying. When I don’t have a lot of time to relax I get a pretty complicated drink that is almost always to go. And every time I’m in rush I call ahead to get my drink, and the staff is always so nice and accommodating. Incredible customer service even if they are Crazy busy! Coming from someone who is a manager at a small café in a different city I have the most respect for these guys and how efficient they are! The food is amazing! And I think I have had every waffle, but my most recent choice was the Cubano Special waffle sandwich. It was awesome! Full in flavor, and perfect while getting some work done. Coffee is delicious here. I find myself going other places and leaving disappointed when I don’t get something similar to wahfles. I guess you can say they have spoiled me. I normally don’t leave Unilocal reviews, but in this case I had to give this awesome team a review and say thank you for always being so helpful with my daily coffee dose! I really recommend trying this place out if you haven’t!

Went here for a New Year’s Eve brunch with my boyfriend and the experience was really amazing. It was our first time coming here so when looking for the location, it was pretty easy to spot it on our right hand side since the name is so «sha-bam»! Out there. When we got out of the car, we saw that the windows were tinted and realized that since it was New Year’s Eve the place may be closed but fear not, it was open luckily. After entering, the place was pretty packed which was a great sign for business. It was really cozy with their cute Christmas tree and the colors of the place. It had a nice atmosphere, perfect for those brunch dates with your significant other or your friends. When ordering, we asked the man at the register what was most popular since it was our first time and all. For savorh«wähfles,» he recommended the Scarlette Johanson, Hogzilla or the California Wähfle. As for sweet, he recommended the Crème Brûlée or ‘Merica. We decided on the Hogzilla, Tuna Melt and then the Speculoos, Banana and Ice Cream wähfles. The food came out always within 5 – 7 minutes and was presented very nicely. All 3 were a really good and fulfilling size, especially since there was two of us and my boyfriend has a black hole. By the time we left, he had food coma which is always a good sign. :p I definitely would want to come again, even though I live 40 minutes away, I would say this place(with their food and service) is pretty awesome.

Came in to get some coffee for myself and had the blended mocha. Cute location, great sounding menu with tons of sweet and savory waffle options as well as hot and cold drinks. Very nice service, though it did take a while to get our drinks, they were pretty busy for a midweek afternoon. Drinks were nicely presented in mason jar glasses, but not made very well. The ice was not blended right and there were some chunks, not very easy to drink, also almost as much whipped crème as coffee, too much really. Prices and portions are fair, I will have to come back and try something else next time.

One of the best places I’ve been to in SoCal. Crazy good wahfles!!! Love the concept. Providing great quality«wahfles» and coffee in a warm, friendly environment. Wahfles serves what I will call Belgian style waffles. In Belgium, they eat waffles for dessert. We ordered three of their specialty wahfles(all full size): Crème Brulee($ 6.95), Maple Bacon($ 6.95) and Salted Ganache($ 6.95). Their specialty wahfles are perfertly sized, perfectly sweet concoctions that leave you wanting for more. They also offer savory wahfles which we didn’t try. We ordered a Rwanda pour over coffee(think Philz in the Bay Area) and a Nitro cold brew coffee. Both were outstanding! Great flavors and complexity. Service was exceptional! Please tip! The cashiers, baristas, and bussers all do a fantastic job and it would be great if everybody provided at least a small token of appreciation. I look forward to coming back anytime that I’m passing by the area.

WHAT A FIND!!! This place is outstanding. The flavors are truly amazing yet not overpowering. In Belgium, waffles are a dessert. Wahfles does it the way they do it in Belgium. THEPORTIONSIZEISPERFECT. You get one waffle. It’s rectangular in size and it’s actually the perfect portion for one person. Eating more of it would be glutenous and unhealthy. But you want enough to satisfy your palate. Their portion size is well-balanced. We had the crème brulee waffle and the maple bacon waffle. Both were delicious. *The crème brulee wahfle was the perfect marriage of my favorite part of crème brulee which is the caramelized burnt sugar which you get here on top of the waffle but paired with the crispiness of a great waffle that is balanced in texture. The flavors are not overpowering. On my sweetness meter, it’s probably a good 8. It’s sweet but not so much so that it you can’t keep eating it. It’s just sweet enough to leave you wanting more. *The maple bacon waffle was fantastic. It reminded me of my favorite donut which is a bacon maple donut. It’s not enough to just put a piece of bacon on the waffle which they did but you have to infuse the bacon flavor into the waffle itself. I tasted that in every bite. Decadent and delicious. This is a great place to have a waffle at any time of day. Oh, did I mention they also have nitrogen cold brew coffee? Yes! Quite spectacular tasting if you ask me. Very few places do it well yet this place does. I live a few hundred miles away but believe me, I can’t wait to come back here SOON!!! P. S. — The service is amazing, gracious, and served with a sense of humor. LOVEDIT!

After my saturday morning hike of course all i want to do is eat. I drove over to La Verne from claremont which is not far at all. I drove up to the plaza with lots of parking and wondered if this place was open, only because the windows were tinted so i couldn’t see inside. I opened the door and what a nice surprise, such a nice place. The décor was very modern and welcoming. The staff was great, they were a younger crew but very professional. This is a great place to sit relax and enjoy some good food. The place was busy on my visit, all seats were taken, there was a table with an extra chair so i asked the two older ladies if i may join them just while i eat. The ladies were very nice and welcomed me to there table. The best part was i got this big comfortable chair, felt like i was at home relaxing. My order was a California Sandwhich and a latte… Try it! :)

Well, La Verne, you got pretty lucky! Wahfles is an amazing spot for three reasons: 1) chill & clean — so pleasant to be at this place, 2) legitimate brews — true story, and 3) phenomenal bites — we had them all! Did I mention the friendliest baristas and managers who are generous with samples and happy to share about their finest coffee beans? Well, the Unilocal Elite factor might have something to do with it, but no, not really! For your first time, I recommend their special cold brew(I prefer the one that’s not on tap) and a crème brûlée waffle. This is classic and you will not regret it. I then would move to a hot vanilla latte(no fake stuff — syrup made in house from real vanilla beans) and perhaps ‘Merica waffle(if you love your whip cream, that is). Finally, you can graduate to their special seasonal coffee cocktails — and I’ll let you be surprised here. Practical advise: $wise, it is cheaper to split a waffle rather than get two halves. So unless you are a hungry hippo, this is what I recommend. Right off 210 freeway. And east of Pasadena they don’t know what«I can’t find parking» means ;) Local or not so much, do drop by and you will become a regular!

Wahfles is good! I just wish the portion was a little bigger. :) I got the Crème Brûlée waffle. It was a little burnt, but still good. Jesse got the Banana Cream waffle. It was good, as well. I’d come back here and try other things.
