My son came from a different karate school in the area just 3 months before reaching his black belt. We decided to make the change to help our son grow as a martial artist. Our son has greatly improved his skill level and is in route to his 2nd degree black belt. Chozen has an adult Muy Thai program and kick boxing classes. Kids of all ages are also taught muy thai and grappling techniques which is what real life fights are like. It’s a great family oriented place. They have 3 dojos and a weight room you can use while your kid is in class. No gimmicks, no crazy contracts and no fee belt testing. Check it out for yourself.

We have been a part of the Chozen MMA Family since 2011. We love this Black Belt School. Karate classes are available 6 days a week, if you choose to attend that many days. The staff is committed to the students and families, as they are constantly providing opportunity for growth in MMA and personal growth of character.

Chozen Martial Arts Academy is a family centered martial arts training facility. They have programs for kids, teens, and adults. The kids get to learn karate, grappling, leadership skills, and more. The adults train in Krav Maga. The instructors are friendly and very encouraging. My family has been a part of this dojo for almost 6 years. We are all quite happy with the training we have received here. We have learned many life benefitting skills and at the same time have developed lifelong friendships. We will continue to stay a part of this dojo for as long as possible.

My kids enjoyed this place and really like the instructors, but poor management. They have a 60 days cancelation policy which a bit ridiculous. I enrolled my kids for unlimited classes for the summer but when school started, I wanted to cut them to 2 – 3 times a week but their management did not return our phone calls. My husband called for the 3rd time and refused to hold or leave another message, finally got to talk to someone. Instead of cutting my kids to 2 – 3 days, he ended up cutting them off completely. The price for unlimited classes for 2 kids was around $ 280 and for 2 – 3 days for 2 kids was $ 240, not much of a difference. Not worth it.

I have started going here earlier this year. Since starting their Adult Muay Thai. I have built up my endurance greatly. One of the first class’s I took. I literally thought I was going to die as I was so badly out of shape. There was no way I could do a sit up without some one holding my feet down. However within only a couple months. I was doing situps easily. I was also able to keep up with the higher classed belts. I really have to thank Shehan and all the Sensais. They are great. This place is also highly family orientated. Though I do not have kids. Some of the great people I have met here do and that is something that is really cool. How can you go wrong with self defense, great teachings, new friends and better health? You can’t. :)

A newly located Chozen. It is much bigger, with 3 dojo’s and a weight room. Super friendly staff.
