My favorite burger place. Can be difficult to get indoor seating sometimes, but with food that good it’s easy to see why.

Terrible service! The manager and cashier completed our order wrong, three times! They charged us extra due to an «incorrect» charge and the order was wrong the 4th time! The manager and cashier did not apologize in fact, he accused us of trying to get a free burger! Ruined my meal and experience. Customer service will be hearing from me.

Love their tempura fired green beans. The only issue I’ve come across is finding seating when its really busy. However, the food does come out quick regardless how busy it is. I usually get the Santa Barbara and add bacon and mushrooms. They fries are yummy too along with their milk shakes. Staff is always friends and constantly cleaning the place when I’m in there. It’s nice that you can see the kitchen too.

Decent. Solid 4 stars. Just a step above Five Guys is how I have been describing it. Same type of set up, order, sit down, wait for order, then enjoy. Got the double and it was pretty tasty. The fries though? Might as well not even bother making these. There is nothing there to set them apart. Five Guys, while I’m not a huge fan in the first place, has waaayy better fries. I go again someday, but would always choose In N Out first.

We love the Habit. Tonight we had a large order and the gal in the dark blue shirt w a side part and pony tail(missed her name) was a hustler! She also noticed one of the hamburgers was wrong and she had them correct it with out us having to take it back. Wanted to give her a shout out and if she isn’t management yet, she should be and if she is already, then she should be promoted! Food is always delicious and it is even better to see people take pride in their job!

I am truly addicted to the tempura green beans! They are UH-MAZING — mouth watering, crunchy yet soft in the middle, juicy and tantalizing! mmmmm I’ll be right back, I have a Habit calling meeeeeee…

The best burgers around. We had the teriyaki burger and Santa Barbara! They have the paradise tea brand iced tea which is the best! My daughter says they have the best burgers ever!

McDonalds move out of town, The Habit Hamburger Grill has taken the town by storm. Charred burgers are WONDERFUL, fries are NOT limp and full of grease. Now that weather is cooler we sat out in the patio area. Love, love, love this place. Goodbye McDonalds and In n Out.

I have always wanted to try The Habit, but have never had a chance to, until today. I had to work for it though. I had just finished dropping a load of fuel at the Costco down the street. I was craving a burger, but not just any burger. Something great. I parked my rig down in the closest parking lot that I could fit my Tanker-Truck, which was down the street in the Kohls parking lot. Locked up my truck, and walked in the murky heat through the Sprouts parking lot to The Habit. Walked in and was instantly mesmerized by the smells. The line was short, even though it was lunchtime and the place was packed on the inside. I was quickly greeted with a smile. When I come to a place for the first time, I tend to get their signature menu item. I did so here by ordering a Double Char w/Cheese, Fries, and a drink. To go. I was given a buzzer just like the ones bigger restaurants use when you are waiting for a table. I was given a cup, and started to peruse the beverage area. The beverage area is a little better than average. It has your average tap of sodas. I don’t drink too much soda, but I do drink tea. It has three different types of tea; Tropical, Green, and the other one is the standard unsweetened tea. They all tasted a little funky to me, so I opted for the Strawberry-Limeade next to the tea. There was only enough to fill my cup, but it was delicious. Grabbed a pepperoncini from the«pepper bar» to munch on while I waited for my food. They had several sauces there to choose from right there as well, including A-1, and Cholula. Within 5 minutes my order was ready. The guy who called my number asked if he could do anything else for me, but I was good. It was nice of him to ask though. Walked out the door and cut through the parking lot in the desert heat towards my truck. Opened up my food and got to grubbin’. The fries are very good. Not fresh potatoes, but quality frozen thick-cut(not steak cut) fries. They were cooked right, with just the right amount of golden crisp, and softness in the middle. Not bad at all. Needs salt. Good thing I brought some packets. The Double Char w/Cheese was excellent! Very tasty, quality ingfredients, the pickles in particular were fresh, crisp, premium pickle slices. I don’t understand the comparison to In-N-Out. It is an entirely different kind of burger. I cant say its better or worse. I CAN however say that it is more like a better version of Five Guys burgers. LOADS of cheese, charbroiled taste. Fantastic. I recommend eating it quickly, the grease and oil from the patty and cheese seep through the wrapper quickly and the whole thing becomes a soggy(yet still delicious) mess within 5 minutes, so if you get it to go, eat it on the go too. I cant wait to return to try the Santa Barbara Char, some Onion Rings, greenbeans, and other delicious menu items that will haunt my dreams tonight. I am definitely a fan.

This place will usually have a line out the door, but they always move ‘em through quickly. The crew communicates effectively. It’s pretty cool to watch them work together. The food is always awesome. The restaurant area is always clean — even the high chairs! We love the strawberry lemonade too.

Open early before chipotle, got an albacore lettuce wrap and cheese burger & fries for the boy at 10:30 am. Fast & tasty on an empty stomach after fasting blood work. I sneaked a soggy fry, no need for another. I need to sample more items to get a better perspective. Love the lighted vibrating pager when your order’s ready, so efficient.

Only burger voted better than In n Out and it’s no accident. I’ve been to this location probably 30 times and have only been disappointed one time and it wasn’t bad. Just not the usual awesomeness. Friendly staff. Only downside is not enough inside seating when it’s too hot for the patio. Don’t just rely on the burger. There is something for everyone and the albacore they use is truly sushi grade. Turns out great seared rare.

Went and order the double with cheese and avocado, IT was so GOOD .The bun had a little crisp to it because they grill it on the grill top .the cheese melted all over the hamburger and it was heaven on a bun… and the french fries were DELICIOUS. We sat outside and ate our lunch and free refills on your soda. Fast serves and Ill be going back.

I make it a habit to come here every week because of how good the food is. I feel like their food is an addiction. You have to try the tempura green beans with ranch.

A fresh, honest burger full of flavor. The burger its simple but its got it were it counts, fresh, flavorful and affordable. The menu is simple but its options are comfortably good. I’ve tried the double char, the bbq bacon char and the Santa barbara style and they were all great. Im definitely coming back.

I’ve been to one of these before in Fullerton & the burgers there are just as good as here! I still love my In N Out, but I am pineapple lover as well as a huge advocate of sweet potato fries! Yum! The long lines might look intimidating but the cashiers are very quick and the food comes out fast as well! Love the option of indoor /outdoor seating.

Getting through the line was quick. The clerk was nice & informative. Although it was a little hard to communicate because it was loud in the ordering area… But the clerk got my order right… Choices include(I can’t remember all the options, but here are some that I can remember): Hamburger Cheeseburger Mushroom Burger Veggie burger I’ll post more on my next visit… :-)

Wow, wow, wow. Funny story, we had the chance to eat at one of their hometown locations in Goleta and passed it up. What a mistake! We were so pleasantly surprised with the food, let me tell you. You may arrive to a line out the door BUT the cashiers jam it out. You may wait about 10 minutes but you’ll need it to get acquainted with the menu. I ordered the original char with cheese & crispy bacon. The patty is beautifully charred, it’s a perfectly sized patty(not thin or super thick). The bacon was excellent. The tempura green beans were delish and the fries were pretty simple. The prices – CAN’T BEAT ‘EM. Cheaper than Carls Jr(barf) and in the same ballpark as In N Out. Dare I say, The Habit is BETTERTHAN In N Out? Yes. Absolutely. Take my word for it and order here! P. S. They have an ice cream cone for $ 1. Psh. STEAL.
