Super friendly customer service! My son was trading old gear for new. The sweet girl that was helping us went above and beyond to help! She spent extra time looking for me in the computer (somehow my membership info was difficult to locate) and look up «trade-​in» prices for us. All of this with professionalism and a smile!
I took away one star away because my son picked out a game (the cover) — but the actual game was missing.

Outstanding! Extremely busy Store, but each time I’ve been there I’ve been treated like I’m the only Customer in the Store. Today I took My Grandsons, ages 3 & 7 with me and they were treated the same!
Both boys received excellent caring attention; they were even led thru the assortment of Used Games & were very happy with «their choices». We had the Best Time making choices about everything!

Absolutely the worst! My husband and I went last night and bought a pre owned Xbox one… The sales associate Brandon helped us… He was fine but we were sold a system we didn’t even get a chance to look at. He took all of our information and such and we were on our way. Well, 475.00 later game included… We got a defective system… So, we took it back and I guess ALL of our information wasn’t correctly imputed… So my husband literally spent more than 2 hours in that store! They couldn’t get their stuff together. To top it off the sales guy that helped him told him «excuse me, I haven’t slept in like 18 days» really?! Is that why it took so long? The only reason we bought pre owned is because we wanted to chose the game, instead of have what it came with… Wish we would have bought at best buy instead. This has been the worst experience, sadly.

Matt is the manager of the La Quinta store. He takes pride in his store and his job. He is incredibly helpful, knowledgable and professional.
It was a chaotic half hour — he was the only one working. The phone rang three times and I watched him answer each caller’s questions patiently and intelligently, while helping me and my son with trade-​ins. There were people in line behind me and people still filtering in through the front door. He managed to greet them and apologize for the wait, all the while making everyone feel like they were important and appreciated for being at GameStop.
He is everything the CEO of GameStop would want as a representative of the company. PROMOTE THIS MAN.

This is the best GameStop in the Valley. The employees have always been helpful and knowledgeable about what they recommend. It used to be cheaper to shop on the internet but now prices seem comparable. Shop here and save yourself shipping and worry about whether it will arrive on time.

It’s your average GameStop. There is a high schooler behind the counter providing poor to adequate service, and decent variety of new and used games. Sometimes you get a great deal… other times you don’t. Other than the various location sizes, and a direct correlation to their inventory based upon the store size, there is no real difference between them.
If you want a quick trip for a video game this is the place to go, particularly when you know what you want and don’t want to deal with a big store like Best Buy or Fry’s.
