Desert Diamond Dance Center

I have had my daughter in three studios since she was almost 3yrs old. We had lived in Temecula and she went to Temecula Dance Company and I was super impressed with the teachers there and the way the studio was set up. The teachers were very kind and patient for my 3yr old.
We eventually moved to the high desert and started her at Starstruck Dance Studios. This studio did the job for the time being. I loved the studio itself but not the seating situation for the parents watching was horrible. The class for age group was a jazz ballet combo. The teacher was in high school and the class was so large that she had no control over the 3−5yrs old girls! It was chaotic!
We moved her to Brilliant Dance. This studio was a world apart from the other. The owner was kind and attentive. My daughter had many private lessons along with her other dance classes. Her Ballet teacher was the most sweet, professional, nurturing, patient young lady that exude confident and class. She is a good example for my daughter and I would only hope that my daughter is as elegant as she was when my daughter is in her early 20’s.
Then we moved to La Quinta and were searching for a new dance studio. I really did not know where to take her to continue her dance and decided on this studio because it was close by our home.
Was not impressed… The studio looked bigger than what it was. The seating is horrible. Depending on the timeframe with the sun blaring in, you can’t see into the room. They don’t allow you to use a camera or video record. How can you have your daughter practice or see what she may need to work on. How can I help her get better if I can’t see myself what is needed! This rule sucks! I have never had a studio tell me I can’t record her!
I like to have my daughter practice! I like to see what she’s doing right or wrong and help her!
The Topper for me was one day… I decided to have my daughter take a more advance class in ballet. She had so many privates the season prior and she had already tried this same class the week prior. I felt the other class was too immature for her. Not just the teaching but the other girls were babies compared to her.
So my daughter was in the class and she kind of did something wrong and the OWNER SAT BEHIND ME LAUGHING AT MY DAUGHTER! ALOUD!
Prior to this I found the owner to be snotty and all you could hear her talk about was superficial things! If you AREN’t Blond hair with blue eyes!!! Then forget it!!! You’ll never make her DANCE team!

The owner is unprofessional and should take a look in the mirror and see that no one is perfect especially her! To LAUGH at a 5 ½ yr old is WRONG!
Don’t waste your money on this studio and help support the owners eating habit!
