Tastefully Yours Event & Catering

I have not had an opportunity to plan an event yet but have heard only excellent reviews. When I have the opportunity to use an event planner I will call Tastefully Yours.

We got married, literally, yesterday the 28^th of February. Honestly, they made our wedding day amazing! Their food was great and they served my family’s traditional Jamaican food and drinks as well. The décor was amazing and they boxed up all the extra food so our guest could have to go boxes. It was really amazing and they just did a great job. I heard some horrible things, but working with Megan Johnston was a great experience and we were super pleased with how beautiful everything turned out! So don’t always listen to the negative comments, if something goes bad on such a big and emotional day people are going to be upset greatly. Let me tell you my day was not a bed of roses, but they made it look like it sure as hell was and our wedding cake was absolutely delicious! So thank you tastefully yours for doing such an amazing job!

I would not recommend this company.
They catered and provided equipment for my wedding in the fall of 2014.
The positives: the food was very good, and the servers were nice and punctual.
The negatives are numerous so let me sum up. This company over-​books and is very disorganized with poor communication among staff. To accommodate their packed weekend, chairs (mismatched) were dropped off 4 hours early in the rain, instead of set up as promised. So bridesmaids went to work mopping down the chairs and setting them out. All of these mistakes are forgivable if it weren’t for the co-​owner, Keith’s rude and disrespectful demeanor. Not only did he raise his voice to my mother’s simple and respectful inquiry, but he has blamed all mistakes on us, and overcharged us for services not rendered.
I would not employ this company, however we got our tent and restroom facilities from InTents in Friendswood, who were respectful and provided all we needed, including helping us with the things Tastefully Yours failed to do.
