I went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday with some young friends of Mexican heritage. I didn’t eat but they did and I want to share our experience. It was unclear where to order, and we saw several people go to the wrong side like we did. Then we found an employee waiting with menus who explained to us how to order. That was also confusing, as there are three different wipe off cards and you choose the one for what you want, salad, taco, or bowl. There were plenty of choices for each, which was good. You go through the line and just hold up your card so the cooks can see what you’re ordering. The bill came to $ 27 for a bowl, a salad, and two drinks, which was pretty surprising for things that were $ 7 each to start with. The girls said that their food was good, but if they asked their(Mexican) mothers to cook things like what they were eating, they’d say«are you crazy?» so much for ‘Mexican street food’(their slogan). The food was served in cardboard bowls which can then be taken home, which was handy.
