–found out they offer a 20% off discount for local business employees –their prices are some of the best i’ve found at any souvenir shop in san diego(especially when compared to the shop right next door… the same item is about 20% more there) –they continue to add new inventory, especially«la jolla» branded items –there are lots of cute gift items even local residents could get for themselves

This shop is pretty small, but don’t let the size fool you. There actually is some good stuff in here. In particular, most touristy shops sell you junk T-shirts, but in here, the shirts seem of high quality, especially the embroidered ones. There are other merchandise that should meet your tourist needs.

Given the decent reviews, I did expect more from this little shop. The prices were quite reasonable, but the selection was lacking. The service was also really lack-luster. The shop was very difficult to get around. We did end up picking up souvenirs for our kids, but that was simply because we ran out of time and were unable to look for a different shop.

Best gift shop in the LaJolla area for T’s, Sweats, misc. souvenirs — very good selection! Each time we visit the San Diego area(1 or 2x’s/year), this is the shop we visit & always find exactly what we’re looking for. Prices are very reasonable. The only difficulty we sometimes find is parking; it can be tricky finding a spot, but we always do & it’s well worth it. Don’t pass up this small shop, esp. if you are looking for a few gifts to take home. You won’t be disappointed.

Looked at 3 different places for a souvenir spoon for my 80 year old great aunt before I called La Jolla Cove Gifts. The lady who answered the phone who also helped me out at the store was extremely helpful and really friendly. Would highly recommend for little souvenirs and shirts at great prices! Will definitely stop by here again when I need presents for my out of town family/friends who aren’t so lucky as me to live here :)

I liked this store. and the counter girls were fun and friendly! Discussed shopping at Forever 21 and Nasty Gal which I’m occasionally guilty of so had to join the convo. ;) In terms of gifts, I literally bought half the store. Pretty inexpensive pens, boxes, shotglasses, little statues and even t-shirts. Plus, THEBEST prices on jewelry — $ 3 necklaces and earrings that are super cute! You know the type — Hawaiian flower style. And seriously, in Waikiki couple weeks later not much changed. same flowers, same prices. So if you don’t quite make it to Hawaii stop by here and pretend!

Very small closet sized shop with tshirts and other tchochkies that you can bring home to show off to people that you were in La Jolla(Make sure you pronounce it right!) and they were stuck back in whatever horrible place they were in. :p I thought that the prices were okay. No great bargains, but decent enough. Good selection of colors, but the sizes only go up to XL and, well, I’m a big boy.

Typical gift shop kind of store. They have the usual selection of tourist junk and nicer stuff. You can probably fine what you’re looking for Nd it’s right near the beach
