Street parking can get pretty busy because of all the traffic around La Jolla, but there is a parking garage right underneath the building. I secretly didn’t pay for parking because I knew it wouldn’t take too long to drop-​off & pick-​up my watch.
My Michael Kors watch needed a battery replacement and I didn’t trust the Michael Kors store to do it because of my bad experience of them adjusting the links on my watch. I came in and Son was extremely friendly! He charged me $ 10 for a battery replacement and said I could get it in two hours. I came into the store two days later because I was quite busy and Son took the time to inform me about my watch’s stopwatch and how to use it.
Son accepts credit cards but he told me cash would be best. He is trustworthy and transparent! Definitely come here for all your watch’s needs.

Son is the best watchmaker in town. I live downtown and there are many closer watch shops but I would never take my watches anywhere else. I have a collection of over 50 watches and Son can work on all of them. From vintage to new, Casio to Patek Philippe, Son knows how to work on every watch. I have an Oris with a complicated movement that broke. Son was able to fix it an affordable price. In addition to being a great watchmaker Son is honest and fair. I would recommend him to anyone looking to get a watch repaired.

Have a wonderful old gold watch that stopped running. Took it into our local Jewelry (Unicorn) in Rancho Bernardo for a new battery. They told me it was not the battery, but was rusted and would cost at least $ 150 to fix. After a few weeks found Gerhard on Unilocal.Went in yesterday. he replaced the battery, cleaned it a little with a Q-​tip and in ⁸¹⁄₂ minutes gave it back to me keeping time a the cost of $ 15
I guess there is still some honesty in the world! It is diffintly worth the drive from Poway to go to Gerhard’s

Son has serviced everything from Breitling to Pateks for me. I no longer live in the area, but I still drive down to have him work on my watches.
