Christina is awesome, very sweet and professional. I recently found this salon, which had a great, laid-​back vibe and I’ve been to Christina twice. She not only does a great job with the cut, but also gives advice about my hair type and concerns. I always feel like I leave having learned something and my hair looks amazing too. Mind blown!!! CHRISTINA did the most amazing ombré on me today and I am completely obsessed with it!!! I have waited so many years to finally get it done and I can’t recommend anyone better to do this look than her! i have seen so many bad ombré’s that I was always scared to do it. If you’re in the same boat and love the look, but wanna make sure you get it done by the right professional– CHRISTINA is your girl! I never loved my hair like I do now!!!

I found this hair salon last week via Unilocal as I was flying in from out of town for a rehearsal dinner and wedding and needed a blow out and style for my thick curly hair. I am so impressed with how it turned out. It looked amazing for the rehearsal and the wedding which took place in the wedding bowl right on the cliffs of La Jolla. (There is so much wind and sea spray there, I thought I was doomed to have frizzy awful hair). I had no idea it was going to last and look beautiful for the next day at the wedding too. Thank you Christina for the beautiful job!

First off I’d like to say that I am a licensed stylist myself, and I often leave the salon unsatisfied, due to my perfectionist nature and high expectations.
The cure? Christina Wangler. She’s just as meticulous as myself, and possesses the perfect combination of precision and speed. After a thorough consultation, we decided on a blonde balayage and just a cleanup on my length and layers. I left her chair a perfect blonde, with just the right amount cut from my long hair. She listened to what I had to say and really catered to my needs! If you want to be wowed, book with her NOW. Thanks Christina!

Carrie is amazing!!! I now have 8 friends that go to her. Her cuts and color are phenomenal. She takes as much time as required to get the look I wanted. I had always been afraid to have short hair but now I love it! Less than 5 minutes to style, and suits my face quite well! So happy.

If you are looking for the best hair color, hair cut, style, highlight, or a wedding hair and makeup artist in La Jolla with the friendliest staff, this is the right place for you! I’ve been very happy with this salon so far. Terrence Renk is an Emmy awards winner and takes enough time to go over the process, describing the chemistry involved and always trying to choose the less damaging way to create what I want. They have a professional cosmetics line named Bodyography which works amazing on my hair. I am Iranian (Persian) with a lot of dark hair and for the first time my hair is not brassy after the highlight! I’ve also seen their beautiful wedding hair & makeup. Thank you Prorituals team for the great work. You are the best :)

Carrie is my new favorite person ;) I saw Carrie recently for a cut and color, not really knowing what I wanted but definitely wanting something different and needing a change. I was looking for a new stylist after the stylist I had been going to for years quit. After reading the reviews on Unilocal I decided to try ProRituals for a full head highlight, cut and blowout. They were super professional and accommodating both before and during my appointment (they even ordered me food from this cute little bistro next door while I was getting my hair done :)). Carrie was amazing and not only did a excellent job on my hair but also was extremely knowledgeable about styling products other treatments I was interested in. So relieved to find another stylist I trust with my hair, there’s a reason they have 5 stars.

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Carrie for a while now and I can honestly say that I wouldn’t trust anybody else with my hair. Her attentiveness and professionalism is top notch and her easy going nature makes the whole experience fun. She knows exactly what I am looking for every time I go in, even when I don’t know how to explain the look I am going for. Would definitely recommend her to anyone.
Even my girlfriend, who is very particular about her hair, has made Carrie her top choice for whatever she needs.
