Probably one of the best boba places around the area. Excellent quality on the smoothies and staff is always nice. Definitely worth checking it out!

Horrible experience as a first time costumer at this location. My husband and I bought two boba tea drinks. As we were ordering our drinks we noticed they had a sign up Monday’s $ 1.00 off on all teas. The young cashier girl ran us up for $ 11.00 and some cents. We paid with our ATM we were asked if we wanted our receipt. I said no without thinking of anything. My husband and I buy boba drinks all the time at other locations, it seemed a little pricier. We tough maybe the location which is a much nicer place. However as we both waited for our drinks we looked up at the menu with the prices. I started adding I realized we were over charged. I went to the register I waited for a customer to be helped. I told the young who had helped me how much drinks were if they were $ 1.00 off I told her she over charged me. She said oh yeah I knew that… I was going to tell you. I said to her when? if I was waiting for a long time for my drink and she never mentioned anything or stated to come over to give me my money she had over charged. She got nervous and said she was busy and was going to mentioned it to me. Total lie I felt very disappointed at her because she didn’t have a customer during my waiting process. She opened the register and automatically gave me $ 4.00 and some cents back. Without even going over the prices. I asked her nicely I was in awwww I felt cheated, lied too, taken advantage. Total disappointment from thins young lady. CUSTOMERS BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE THEY ROBE YOU! Shameful experience. Will never return to this place. I’m a new neighbor to the area will definitely tell my coworkers and friends not to go here.

I used to come here a lot because my coworkers and I enjoy boba while working and we have all had a bad experience here to the point where we just don’t want to come back anymore. The one older lady is always rude and unreasonable. We try talking to her and she just confuses us to the point where we say forget it. Good job, you lost about 9 faithful customers because you’re so rude. Peace out

Favorite place to go for boba! I’ve tried the mango, passion fruit, peach, green apple slush, and mocha frapp. I have to say that my favorite go-​to is green apple! Passion fruit would be my second choice. I’ve never tried milk teas but I just don’t know if I’d like them or what to get! They also don’t charge for extra boba, yay! Employees are great help as well so that’s a plus.

Bocaloca can meet your needs, especially on Mondays when all milk teas are a buck off reg price. Along with a large milk tea grab yourself a toasted jalapeño and cheese pretzel and you got yourself a sugar /​caffeine /​salt /​fat fix for about $ 5~$ 6.
Can’t beat that. Service can be slow but only cuz all orders are filled and made from scratch. Yummy.

Fast service ! Lots of options! Kind of a small sized boba though — maybe they changed their kind they used before? A little harder in the middle I think due to size not the age of the boba as I’ve read in other reviews. Makes the drink easier to drink I think as well. Not sure about their snacks but definitely worth the taste here if you’re craving boba!:)

Awesome friendly customer service, reasonable prices and delicious milk teas. If you’re unsure on what to order, just ask them and they won’t stir you wrong. Scott was very helpful.

I don’t really care for them that much. Not very good experiences when I went. I try to go only to places like Buena Park or Rowland now for close boba places :/

Just came across this place randomly since one of my friends really felt like having Thai tea. We were lucky enough to come on a Monday because that’s when they have $ 1 off on milk teas. My friends got the Thai milk tea with boba and I got the same except in slush form. It was good, no complaints and they put a lot of boba in there which was really great. I was done with my drink and I still had a lot of boba left.

My girlfriend and I came here earlier today, before meeting up with my family for dinner. We had some time to spare before we met up. I got the taro milk tea, and she got the Thai tea.
The taro milk tea tastes like it’s supposed to. The the Thai yea unfortunately was too sweet for either of us. Other than that of nave no other complaints.

i had been to this store for a green apple green tea and it was pretty good. on the pricer side but with the cost of rent and unlike the volume you can be selling in the SGV area it’s reasonable. i’d go back.

I’ve been here several times ever since the current owner first took over (2 years ago or so). Service is much friendlier than it was before. I like to stop by between 11am-​12pm and I believe it’s the owner who runs the shop until the kids get there in the afternoons.
Anyway, nice fellow. Always pleasant. I see him every time I go in at those times. I never had to wait long for service or for my drink. I have always had a good experience here.

I grew up in the 626 area, boba is my «comfort food.» I was thoroughly disappointed with Boba Loca.
The boba tasted like it had been sitting for hours. Also the staff was fairly rude and unprofessional. I was catching rude stares from one of the employees while I was waiting for my order. They did not seem friendly or interested in their jobs. I get it, they’re young kids working minimum wage, but that’s not an excuse for poor customer service.
The facility was dirty and had a foul smell. The common seating area was not well maintained, black streaks on the walls, trash on the floor, and old dirty seats.
¹⁄₅ stars. Improve your staffing choices and up your boba game. Sorry, guys.

I’ve been coming here for years.
I love their drinks, every single one.
But the other day I came in and requested my usual favorite (milk tea with extra boba) and I got told I cannot have extra boba. I understand. But when I came in tonight the male had no problem giving someone else extra boba.
This is a HUGE no-​no for me.
Especially when I was willing to pay for the extra side.
Super displeased.

My favorite place to get a delicous treat. All fruit smoothies are great but the honeydew milk tea is my favorite then the classic milk tea.

I had an amazing experience~ on a hot day this ac haven is just what you need. Their boba is this special type if chewy that remains chewy even cold~

CREDENTIALS: I am a mango green tea connoisseur. IT IS A FACT. I’ve tried mango green from many many places, and I have become an expert in judging the flavors of the tea drink.
Believe me when I say this, Boba Loca is not a place to go to for mango green tea! I didn’t try the other drinks which could have been great but their mango green tea had a very weak tea flavor and absolutely no bitter after taste. THE BITTTERNESS IS THE KEY TO ANY FLAVORED TEA DRINK. ITS THE KEY! It’s what makes it refreshing and allows you let out an «aaahhhhhh» after that sip.
Compared to the other many mango green teas I’ve had, Boba Loca was subpar. The one thing that I did like about the drink was that it wasn’t over sweetened.
On a good note, boba here is a free add on for any drink and they have a monday deal where $ 1 off milk tea drinks.

Great boba place!
Their chocolate slush is an honorable mention but their watermelon slush is the best I have ever had. It literally tastes like you are biting into a fresh sliced melon with pieces of boba in it. Perfect for summer.
They also have great pretzels here. Perfect for a quick snack.
Service here is also great! Always ready to serve you with a smile.

Our nieces like this place a lot. If they were Unilocalers, they would probably give Boba Loca 5 stars.
I have to say that the drinks we’ve tried are good. The boba tastes fresh and good as well. Place is in need of some updating. Although the shop is clean, it could be much nicer. Prices are a bit steep compared to other boba places (that taste just as good) we’ve visited. Service was fine.
Well, whenever we are with our nieces, we will be back. As long as they are happy, that is the most important thing.
