Cost — Good. Their dishes are par for the course, but the drinks seem to be a little cheaper than other places I town. Speed and service — Not particularly quick, not particularly slow. You get the feeling that things fall apart when they get slammed. Taste — Fantastic! One of my favorites is the sear tuna salad with wasabi dressing. They really mean wasabi(you’ve been warned). Go back — Yes, for their comfort Irish food and tap beers. Tip — Sit outside on a nicer afternoon or grab a good seat inside if there is an important game on. Nice TVs and table placement.

I am always apprehensive when I walk into a pub by myself but I wanted to check out this place I was told they had amazing French onion soup. So I walked in sat at the bar next to a local. I ordered a cup of French onion soup and a blue moon. Oh my goodness that FOS was like I have never had before. It was so flavorful and the croutons were dense and chewy. It’s a creamy French onion so it was hearty almost. I would get a bowl next time. I got an off with my checkin for 25% off dessert so I asked Greg which he preferred the bread pudding or the apple tart and he was like do you like bread pudding? He said they are both good. So I went with the apple tart and it was awesome the apples were tart and had a nice crunch the crust flakey and nice and crispy. It didn’t need the ice cream. It had it but it didn’t need it. This is a really neat place to get something to eat and go have drinks. I say they have a Moscow mule with the copper mugs. Yum. Next time I will have one of them. Great ambience love it check it out! Matt and Greg were both very nice last night.

Excellent Trio — Stew, Corned Beef with Cabbage and Shepard’s Pie. Best I’ve had stateside. Period. Tonight, have returned to sample more of their menu offerings. The Bangers are pretty good, too. Hope to try some of their other dishes soon. Service is excellent. And for a sports bar, noise is very moderate(happily!!). Highly recommend you anyone wanting a good draft of Guinness beer and traditional Irish fare.

3.75. I liked it. Cool atmosphere. Had the jalapeño cream cheese burger. Very good. However, the meat was under seasoned. It would have been killer if it had some seasoning. Fries, over seasoned. I still taste the salt. I am being really nit picky. Nice bar.

Love the square. Good food, good atmosphere, great outdoor seating. Overall I like the place. Please fix your cheese curds. They are not cheese curds. Just chunks of cheddar cheese that you deep fried. Not very good. Great vegi burger. Love the Reuben Rolls. I will be a long time customer.

Consistant quality and good food. Never had anything we didn’t like and the kids menu is awesome as well as the outdoor dining in the summer. Just don’t sit in the back because the aroma of cigarette smoke will be the star ingredient of the food as it makes it way from the alley into the restaurant. They also need to play Irish music because otherwise they are just another bar.

First time going to this restaurant, and I’d definitely be back again! Took my boyfriend there for his birthday and we ordered… * Cheese Curds– Were Amazing! A must get if you love cheese curds! * Crab Cakes — Which were really good! I added some spicy ranch to them to jazz em up. * Ruben — We ordered double meat with them, and they were awesome Rubens. * Mashed Potatoes– Delish! * Mac & Cheese — was great as well. I also ordered … * Jameson Dublin Mule — Excellent! *Black an Tan — Was pretty good, but not as good as the Mule. The service was great and loved the food and drinks. What more could ya ask for?

Had the shepherds pie and although it was more potatoes than meat, it was still good. The beer selection was kind of lame but overall a good place

Ordered the teriyaki pork belly wrap with extra pork, and onion rings as my side. Onion rings were Great and homemade. Now the wrap, was the BEST wrap I have had in years, possibly EVER! Everything blends so well in the wrap that there was a party in my mouth. I may never get to experience their menu now because this is all I want!

Looking for great Irish food? Look no further. Corned beef and cabbage is, hands down, the best I have EVER had. Irish Stew was amazing as well. Fish and chips also amazing. Food served hot and quite promptly. Wait staff is very friendly. Overall an excellent place. We will definitely be back for more.

I only had crab cakes and their baileys cheesecake. The crab cakes appetizer was surprisingly delicious. There were 3 large crab cakes with large chunks of crab meat. I’m thinking about ordering some now! The baileys cheesecake was very rich. It was a great combination of baileys and chocolate. It’s the best cheesecake I’ve had in town. No kidding! I was here on a Monday night and it was a little slow. Service was excellent. We were seated and waited on immediately. With a soft drink, crab cakes, and cheesecake, my total came out to be around $ 18. It was well worth it!

Very good meal for the family. Everything was good but the star of the menu, in my opinion, was the Corned Beef and Cabbage. Maybe the best deal on the menu is the Dublin Trio. It includes 3 good sized portions of Shepard’s Pie, Irish Stew and Corned Beef and Cabbage for about $ 12. This was an awesome choice because you can try 3 great Irish meals, instead of committing to just one! This meal will fill you up! The waitress said the best seller was the Shepard’s Pie but I found it to be tasty, yet a little too dry. I did like the melted cheese touch on the top of the pie however. The Irish Stew was also good but I have had better. Like I said earlier, the winner of the Trio was the Corned Beef. It had huge cubes of tasty, perfectly cooked beef along with the cabbage. They also added a flavorful cheese sauce to make it even better. I would also highly recommend the Guinness Onion Rings as an appetizer. Service was a bit slow, but friendly and helpful.

Great first experience! Bloody Mary with Sriracha vodka was delicious, first time crab cakes and we were not disappointed. The W.A.B.L.T was amazing, the herbed aioli and avocado spread gave the sandwich so much flavor.

Tuesday’s= BBQ meatloaf! Don’t miss out on this one, guys! It’s really something else, a «loaf» lol of meat, tender, flavorful, packed with bacon, and topped with onion strings with a side of their awesome sauce(Guinness gravy) over some marvelous mashed potatoes. Made by a super cool dude who shall remain silent. Today I had Shepards pie again, with the reuben rolls… Both were excellent.

There are very few instances in which the service alone can ruin a restaurant for me, and this was one. The hubby and I stopped in for a Sunday dinner at about 7:30pm, and were seated in the bar area of the restaurant on what seemed like a very slow night. We were greeted around 5 minutes later, ordered drinks, and placed our dinner orders when we received the drinks, another 10 minutes later. At 8 o’clock,(fifteen minutes after ordering the Guinness Beef Tips), the waitress made her way back to us and told us the kitchen was out of one of the essential ingredients. Fifteen minutes after placing our orders, and half an hour into our visit, we were asked to find a different menu item. Honestly, I might have been more inclined to stay if they’d offered a token gesture(free drink? dessert? anything??), but there was literally nothing else on their menu we wanted to wait an hour for – even if they had offered an apology(which they did not). I’m still just dumbfounded trying to figure out why it would take 15 minutes after putting in our order on a slow night to figure out the kitchen can’t make the dish we ordered. Needless to say, we decided to just pay for our two beverages and find another restaurant nearby. The kicker was the additional 15 minute wait for the waitress to bring our check. Nearly an hour after arriving, we finally got our drink bill($ 12) and left. I read all the great reviews for this pub and had high hopes, but I’m sorry to say it just wasn’t their night tonight.

Great place and great food. The place is just clean and the food is great. The menu is fit for everyone’s taste and the food has a clean, fresh taste and look. Kudos to the guys who found this place. Prost! I will be back and will bring people!

We have an Irish place back home so I wasn’t unfamiliar with this type of food. But in comparison, this place is way better. Good food that doesn’t taste as greasy or heavy. Good little kick on different recipes. We really liked their loaded potato skins. Good sized portions and presentation. I had the bangers do champs and it was just right but I still left behind a little bit of the delicious mashed potatoes(I’m just like that). My husband had the shepherds pie made with lamb and that had some great taste and kick of spice. Our server was very accommodating and pleasant(I hope we tipped him well) even with some of my mom-quirky requests. The only thing is that the space that the inside space was a bit small. They had a larger outer dining area that everyone took advantage of(no doubt) except us as the wait would have been a while and we had a hungry 15 month old toddler. Hope you enjoy this place too!

Decided to drive up to La Crosse on a nice fall day and take in a scenic drive. Not only did we get the perfect day for it with an explosion of fall colors, but we also were treated to downtown La Crosse which was surprisingly fun. Lots of bars and restaurants, a great riverwalk, and a historic feel that was just what we were looking for that weekend. Dublin Square was where we ate lunch after seeing good Unilocal reviews, and I’m now inclined to give back the same. I could see it being more of a college bar late at night, but during the day it had a fun sports-oriented atmosphere with plenty of large TVs to watch the various college games, friendly bartenders, and food that enticed you to try more. This is definitely one of those places where making a decision is really tough. My wife and I labored over what we were going to have for at least 15 – 20 minutes, because almost everything on the menu sounded delicious. The plates being served around us didn’t help either, as they all confirmed the menu descriptions. We ordered some beers to start, and I decided to get one from the hometown spot, Pearl Street Brewery. The brown ale I had was delicious, nice and flavorful without being too thick like some of the fuller stouts and porters. We ordered some cheese curds next, also didn’t disappoint. Finally for the main course I had the Bangers & Champ and my wife had the Fish & Chippers. I was extremely pleased, the sausages had a great seasoning, the mashed potatoes were melt in your mouth good, and the only drawback was the relatively bland seasonal vegetables. I tried a few bites of my wife’s fish, it was also fantastic. Easily on par with some of the better joints I’ve been, and both plates offered hearty portions. As much as we both liked our items though, I’d try something else next time just because of how good the entire menu looks. Prices were reasonable, with most entrees clocking in at $ 10, and our total bill being around $ 50 which included two lunches and several beers each. My only knocks are that it could be a little brighter inside and a little more clean looking in appearance. Nothing was«dirty» persay, but it just had a little too much of a college feel to it. That might be part of the aim, but this place has a lot of things going for it and I think they could just touch up a little bit and put themselves on the next level. Granted, the day we were there was parents day for the university, so there were people of all ages dining, but just a thought. If you’re downtown and are in the mood for a satisfying meal, you’ll want to give these guys a look
