so sad they are closed! See my previous post. Hope it’s just temporarily and they are just remodeling.

Although the cashier was nice & service was quick, the Thai milk tea I was served was not very good. Other than being super sweet & cold, it had no real thai tea flavor — or flavor at all. Boba texture was ok, but not all that flavorful either. All in all, very disappointing. Of course I’m used to top of the line Monterey Park /San Gabriel Valley boba shops that have to be great or people go across the street to another shop! I guess if you’re the«only game in town», people will settle, or they don’t know any better & a place like this gets 4 stars! Sad, sad, sad.

Tazza Coffee is a cute little café owned by a Filipino family. It serves up everyday favorites that run the gamut from Caramel Macchiatos to fruit-flavored boba. There is plenty of seating for guests to be able to enjoy their snacks and drinks. And the café is well lit and it doesn’t play loud music like Starbucks or Coffeebean, so people interested in coming in to study or read a book as they enjoy some coffee or boba can do so. Also, Tazza Coffee is conveniently located across the La Crescenta Library for students FYI. What sets Tazza apart from all the other Cafes is their amazing homemade brownies! These brownies are the highlight of this place. Try one, and you will want another, and another!

While in the area, boba cravings hit. A quick Unilocal search yielded this option 3mins down the road. Parking was easy peasy. We were greeted happily with«you want boba?!!» upon entering the cute shop. And handed the clip board to place our customized boba drinks. No popping boba here but they do have mini bobas that I chose with my fav Lavender milk tea. Hubby got his regular boba coffee milk tea. Don’t forget to do Unilocal check-in to get a free size upgrade from regular to large drink! Love the communal wood table where we sat down briefly while waiting for our drinks. Oh, they have free wifi. Would swing by if back in the neighborhood, if just for the mini bobas, that I enjoyed a lot! It’s like a mini bobas party in my mouth!

Got my boba in a mason jar! That’s pretty much as exciting as it gets. Drove out from LA to visit friends in the area. Hands down, I’d drive out here again just for the boba. And omg, MINIBOBA.

Found a new place in La Crescenta to satisfy my boba cravings. Great tasting boba drinks just right accross the street from the library! Mocha boba was my favorite, and my daughter’s favorite was the bubble gum boba. Staff were really nice. Café was very clean and cozy! Don’t agree on shk’s review… I will definitely come here again!

Where else can you get a boba drink in a mason jar? This place is a go to boba spot with tons of fruit and classic flavors! Convenient parking and light snacks, definitely a neighborhood gem!

Customer service 5⁄5 Cleanliness 5⁄5 Drinks 5⁄5 And they take credit cards! Walked in on a Sunday late afternoon and was thrilled to see they were still open! I was greeted by a nice young lady. I placed my hot mocha order and an older lady prepped my drink. I asked permission to take my Unilocal photos while I waited, and they were thrilled with the idea. Got my hot drink, I started to take my first sip as I walked out and I was in hot mocha heaven! Needless to say, I don’t recall drinking a hot mocha as fast as I did today. Note to self, my drink orders will be larger than a small from now on!

Cute shop on the corner of the street owned by some really sweet people. We got the buko pandan(sweetened coconut drink), Thai tea, and Royal milk tea all with boba. Their drinks are sooo good and they have a lot of flavors. Great service too! They have some sandwhiches, snacks, and ice cream but didn’t get to try it. I’ll definitely come back and try it next time!

The new owners are amazing and I believe will make this a hot spot in the area for coffee, tea, boba, etc… It’s so great to see people with a vision and passion to go with it. Well done!

Sweet lady… she let me try the coffee from the dispenser before I filled my cup and It was super watered down. I asked if there was something stronger and she was happy to make me an americano. I didn’t even sip it until I went home… mistake…it taste exactly like the one in the dispenser, just like hot water. The service was great but the coffee was not the best. It was my first time here so I can’t speak for the boba or any of the specialty drinks. I’ll have to give it a second chance before deciding whether to continue coming here or not.

Atmosphere: weird! Kind of looks like a kwick-e-mart, no music playing, too many things stuffed into a small space Service: lack luster and border line rude! Drink: medium iced caramel macchiato came out only tasting like syrup and in a… 24 oz cup? For a medium? They get an extra star for carrying Gaviña coffee beans, which is enough to come back for on a desperate day for plain, hot coffee.

Not great for boba. The flavor was pretty meh, they don’t vacuum seal the top and the texture was too thick and hard to suck up. I got popping pearls but my husband got the actual boba(tapioca pearls) and half of them were frozen and wouldn’t suck up the straw. Also, the service was slow and they gave me the wrong size. And it was crowded with the junior high crowd. $ 9.50 for two substandard bobas? No thank you.

Owner offered to exchange my biscotti because it was broke… I’m just gonna chew it up. This place is tiny and has camera coverage out the wazoo. Seriously a 10×15 coffeehouse with eight cameras that I counted. What goes on here? Surgery? Capitol offenses? A reality TV show? Now that I could believe. This week on «Real LA Coffeehouses», Jim W questions a barista about the drinks… and the barista doesn’t know what they are! Adding to the confusion, a homeless man wanders in and launches into a tirade about the reckless use of silicon in Los Angeles! Wow! Tune in next week when another washed-up old Hollywood has-been commits murder right outside! Who will it be?! Leif Garrett or Tony Danza? Brigitte Nielson or Kirstie Alley?! Seriously though, the coffee was three star, ok, the service was nice and the barista didn’t know what some of the drinks were. Not enough to put them on my list of great coffeehouses coast to coast…

Yeah! A place with a decent selection of loose teas, coffee, boba, snacks and I don’t have to drive 10 miles. They have so many varieties of loose tea to choose from and each is brewed fresh which is nice. I read something in the Montrose Patch that they make their boba fresh every morning and it tastes pretty good. The tea is not sitting around in pre-made containers like some places. Yesterday, I ended up ordering green tea with honey and boba of course. The tea was really good and the boba seemed to get better as time went on. Today, I decided to try something new and chose the orange jasmine green tea. That was really good too. Usually, green tea has that bitter taste, but these two combinations were perfect. My son ordered the mocha with boba and he liked that. When I wrote this review this morning I said there was no ambiance, but I’ve changed my mind within a couple hours after going in the second time. Today, we decided to hang out for a little bit. I like their choice in music, the little tables, red paint on the walls and bamboo plants. Any kind of plant or flowers always make a place look so much nicer. Crescenta Valley Car Wash is kitty corner, so you can run across the street and grab a drink while your car is being cleaned up. I may have to switch my car wash place. Prices seem good at $ 2.90 for 16 ounce size. They have specials every day of the week. Wednesday it is $ 1.00 off a tea with a syrup of some kind. Syrup is not my thing and I forgot milk too. It got better when it was watered down. They have free wi-fi which is always an added bonus, especially at the end of the month when I am quickly approaching my data limit with AT&T. Thank you Patty K. for recommending Tazza Coffee to me. I was hesitant to come in because the other Unilocal reviews weren’t very good, but I’ll definitely come back again.
