The worst customer service I’ve ever seen in my life. The owner was so rude and disrespectful towards me. Today I was there and I asked him if they have the acuvue brand he immediately responded me we don’t sell lenses without prescription!!! How the hell you know that I don’t have a prescription before asking me ??! .There are many places where you can buy glasses or contact lenses don’t bother yourself to buy from here.

A great place to buy glasses. The prices are low and there are a lot of frames to choose from. You can get lightweight, scratch-​resistant glasses with bendable arms. The owner, Roger Karayan is very polite and helpful. He always repairs my glasses for free and gives me glasses cases when I need them.

I am using the services from Discount Optical for years now and the glasses I received from them were always top notch. The shop is run by Roger, the sole owner and he does all the work himself, old school. I have a difficult prescription and I am EXTREMELY critical and even I was always perfectly happy with the quality work from Discount Optical. You have to give it a little more time, but the wait is well worth it, few do that kind of quality work still today,
So five stars for Discount Optical!

Discount Optical bailed me out again. Thanks so much for quickly repairing my glasses at no charge. It’s a please to walk in the store which is designed like a classy boutique with soft, classical music playing in the background.

If you’re like me with handling prescription glasses, being clumsy sucks. I woke up one morning and grabbed my glasses to start the day right then boom, the right lens pops out off the frame and now I’m totally screwed. I had a speech presentation at school and I could see a damn thing. So I taped it like a geek back in the 80’s and I was thinking why today on the day of presentation, right? After the whole ordeal I came here to fix it while having my fingers crossed because most optometrist I went to didn’t repair glasses in my area. Lucky for me I found this place close to home and the optometrist was very polite and fast with service. He fixed the lens and did it less than an hour. It only cost $ 10.00 This place is great for repairs.

It was a pleasure doing business with Roger. He went above and beyond what was expected of him and he was very professional. My new progressive glasses are awesome! Thanks to Roger and the service I was given. The office was very clean and I will definitely return.

If you want the best optometrist in the city! You should come to Discount Optical in La Crescenta. Roger is the owner and the Optometrist who is always so nice and so service oriented. He has been helping me see better with my prescription eyewear both eyeglasses and sun glasses. He always has large inventory of top of the line eyewear, and he makes them anti-​glare, so comfortable for my eyes for night use or in the sun light. He knows how to comfort the eyes.
It doesn’t stop there! He also helped me with my 11 year old sons eye glasses. I will strongly recommend him to anyone that needs eye glasses or sun glasses. Trust me! That’s why I’ve been coming here for 15 years.

Thanks Roger for your splendid expertise. You have bailed me out time and time again when I’ve walked in with lost glasses, smashed frames, and a missing lens. It’s also great to know that you’ve been in business along Foothill Blvd. for some 31-​years.

I got some glasses here over 10 years ago and they were great but he is about 15 miles from me so i got a new perscription 10 days ago and went to Lenscrafters, what a joke, the minute the girl started talking she started to upsale me on everything, we left the store and I remember going to Discount optical years ago, went up there Saturday morning, Roger took his time, I picked out some frames and he said he had some better ones that looked the same but were half the price, Roger the owner was awesome, got two pairs of glasses for the same price as Lencrafters and had them here in three days. The drive was well worth it to go to someone like Roger

Very experienced optician… I recently took a pair of glasses for repair, he was very reasonably priced! I highly recommend going to him for any repairs and prescriptions. Very honest guy.

Nice and very friendly. That is his way to siker you in. He is WAY overpriced. If you are not on your game he will get you. Don’t shop here.
