The waitress was very pleasant and provided excellent service, I started with one of their limited brews called Tanenbaum and My friend got the brown ale. Both brews were excellent, I order the prime rib penne which came with oven baked rosemary fries. They didn’t have tarter sauce, but something very similar that has capers In it. I would certainly recommend this place. And it was nice to walk along the waterfront after dinner.

I have been coming here for 6 – 7 years; food is consistently good, as is the beer. However tonight and last month, the service(food production) took in excess of an hour. If you are hungry, pass on by.

Stopped for Saturday lunch. Ordered chicken quesadilla, wife ordered Chinese chicken salad. The salad, however, had chicken pieces that were rubbery, cold and tasted uncooked. The were the type that comes frozen, sliced pre-grilled, but something wrong happened to it on prep. Wife didn’t eat a single piece of chicken but we were hungry so ate the greens. When the waitress came to the table to ask how everything was, we told her the chicken was inedible. She said she was sorry and if there is anything she could do. We asked for the check. She gave us the check. We asked her to warn the kitchen that they are serving uncooked chicken. She told us she sees them cook the chicken every morning. Wa paid, we tipped, we left. We will not stop here again. The food was bad, and the way they dealt with our feedback was a red flag.

Ok I love La Conner and usually when I get up here there is a little café that I love. But my friend and I decided to give this place a shot. Amazing. I had a pulled pork sandwich that was probably one of the best sandwiches I have ever had! The pulled pork was great, not too smokey, or sweet, and the jalapeño aioli made me want a bowl of it to drink seriously it was that good. So check it out, great staff, yummy beer and food. Oh and we had two kids with us and it was all good for them too!

The only thing worse than the food was the service. Didn’t warm the tortillas for the fish taco and the salmon burger was cold. Fries were also dry and cold…

Steve and I went on a little road trip to Whidbey Island and stopped over in La Conner since there was a brewery we haven’t hit yet. We lucked out because the brewery was also a restaurant! I got some mighty fine shrimp tacos with a very well made wheat beer! Atmosphere and service were good! We got into town when it was dark so we will need to revisit the town when it’s light and make another stop into this brewery!

I have eaten in twice and ordered out an equal number of times. When I’ve eaten in, the service has been horrible. Both times was with a party of four(which is not that difficult), and neither time has been when the place is packed. I have ordered out salad. That’s it. Salad. To-go salad from here is not terrible. The chicken is not always freshest & moistest, but it’s not terrible. Eating in, and not eating a salad, is not awesome. So, if you want a salad, this is a good place. Otherwise? Eh. The beer is easily the worst«brewery» beer I have tried(and I’ve had many…). There is something sour about it. Summary: if I need a to-go salad, I’ll prolly call them. If I need a beer and anything else, I’ll go to Seeds or the Pub.

So disappointed with the IPA. Tastes like a sour Belgian and the waitress was not able to give us any info on the beers. What redeemed them was a tasty appetizer… Baked Brie with balsamic. And the fact that they let me exchange my beer for a brown. However, the brown was not that much more delicious. Too bad because I love the town, I love this restaurants wood fired pizza.

When we came in it wasn’t that busy inside, and only one family on the patio. We were told to seat ourselves and went outside to the patio. A server came out and greeted us and gave us menus, and then proceeded to try and help shoo out a little hummingbird that was caught in the roof area. After the bird was freed she went inside and never came back. After about 15 minutes or so my boyfriend went inside to get someone. He came back out and a few minutes later they came to take our order, which did come out very fast. However drink refills were slow and getting the check was slow. We ordered the wings which were great, and seemed to be braised and fall off the bone tender with great flavor. Ordered the mushroom and sausage pizza. I didn’t care for it that much, but the boyfriend liked it. The crust was puffy on the edges like Boboli and doughy in the middle. Fairly bland, and the cheese was weird. almost like fake cheese texture. All in all the service is really slow, the waitress was nice. Food is overpriced, but this is a tourist town so I was expecting that. Beer was good, and I would definitely like to come back in for their happy hour which seemed to have good prices.

I ordered the Salmon Burger which was awesome, fresh and very tasty. I gave a 3 only because the fries were burnt. The place is spacious and clean, and they have nice, decent outside seating with hearts. I recommend this place, hopefully next time my fries aren’t burnt :(

Nice environment. Not too loud. Fast service if drinks. We didn’t eat but the food look great. You can see the wood fire for the pizzas. This is a cool place.

This was a great experience with the wait staff and the beer. We didn’t stop to get food but it looks good in others people’s plates! The beer is great. As a person stopping by in a boat I really liked the local beer option in a great little town!

We came to a place with«Brewing» in the name, yet I didn’t try a beer… In any case, the food was decent. I got the Chicken Gorgonzola pizza. It was very good… it could have used a little more gorgonzola cheese, and maybe a bit of seasoning on the chicken, but it was good enough that I’d definitely get it again. They also have a gluten-free crust which is a nice touch. Next time, I’ll have to come back and give the beer a try!

We stopped in La Conner on the trip back from Orcas. La Conner Brewing was not open yet but the doors were open. I stepped in explaining that I realized they were not open for another 15 mins but that I’d like to see the beer menu. Excellent! They brew an ESB, my favorite yet hard to find brew. Unfortunately the woman behind the bar was so unfriendly and downright rude that we will not be stepping back in now that they are open…

So here it is a brewing company, and nobody at my table ordered beer.(I think we picked the wrong restaurant for lunch.) I had a hankering for a hamburger. Go elsewhere if that’s what you want. My burger was dry, overcooked, and not all that meaty.(Did they mix in too much filler?) My friend got a pulled pork sandwich which she said was okay, but not the best she’s had. Rather than a sweet sauce, hers was spicy. Someone in my group ordered a quesadilla, which she said was delicious. I dunno. Mixed reviews at my table. I think this place is okay, and clearly not hurting for business during tulip season. Friendly service, nice bar-type atmosphere. In my opinion, there are places down the road which may be better.

Not bad, not bad! Pros? –Cutest little taster mugs ever –Delicious wood-fired pizza(and that’s coming from a pizza lover) –Friendly service –Beers were good, albeit a bit watery at times Cons? –Pricing a bit much(why can’t samplers for beers be cheaper than a pint? Makes sense to me!) –Other food on the menu looked pretty average(judging by customers around me) and pricing was a bit much

Here at the opening bell on a weekend, we were able to bring in a large group fairly easily. Any later and it would have been a problem because the place really filled up. Despite having a group of 18 our server was able to take care of us all very well. I was very happy with how we were accommodated. The pulled pork sandwich wasn’t that great, it would have been much better with more cabbage/slaw and more of the delicious garlic sauce that was on it. I wouldn’t buy it again at the price, I didn’t feel any of the sandwiches were price correctly. I wanted fries but the waitress recommended the Thai chicken peanut soup as a side. In a good way this was a bowl of chopped chicken in a delicious coconut curry style soup. It was very good, I wished I had made it my meal. There’s a good selection of drafts, if you’re looking for a beer then definitely come check this place out.

Enjoyed some beer and an appetizer here during a day trip to downtown LaConner. The winter seasonal(a strong ale) was just dark enough to warm us up on a chilly afternoon and the baked brie was pure garlicy goodness! We sat at the bar and had excellent, friendly service. Not intimate enough for a date, but excellent family restaurant or place to gather with friends!
