Besst Phở in town. I enjoy eating at this place. The soup is flavorful. They also offered steak that you would really love. They have large parking area. So parking is easy.

My boyfriend and I come all the time, it’s our go-to phở spot. I get the chicken phở and he gets the super bowl and never fail! Service is on point. Oh! Try their ice coffee!

I’m conflicted between giving this place 2 or 3 stars… An OK choice if you’re not in the SGV or OC for authentic Vietnamese food. This is a Korean Phở restaurant(A Vietnamese restaurant owned/run by Koreans). You see these in Koreatown everywhere. If you’re from SGV or OC don’t make the trek out here; you have the best Vietnamese food right where you are. I ordered the Phở Tai(phở with rare steak); it was fine but nothing to write home about. One thing I found strange was that the broth was a bit sweet. It’s also a bit pricey; if I remember correctly it was around $ 8.50. If your palate is geared more towards Koreanized phở then you won’t have any problems with this place. They share a large parking lot with a bunch of other businesses, so no problems finding parking.

Phở has become an obsession with me. I could eat it every day and enjoy picking up a take-out order from Phở Season. I particularly like the meatball variety. Local place makes good!

It pains me to write this about a place I enjoy eating at, but it must be done. First of all, please check your restroom often and make sure there is soap so that your customers can wash their hands properly. Secondly, please ask the customer first if they no longer need the bottle of sriracha. It’s REALLY rude when you remove it from my table and give it to the other customer. I was still using it! HOWRUDE!!!

We usually go get our phở from Montrose, but we wanted to try something different this time. I ordered one rare steak and one chicken phở to go. I went down to go pick it up and they had very nice ppl at the front. I was very skeptical about the rare steak cause I didn’t know if the steak would really cool or not, lol. They offered to actually good the steak and I denied the offer, which I wish I didn’t! When I got home the phở was not hot enough to cook the steak, so that was a whole process at home. My wife really enjoyed hers though! She was ranting and raving about how they put a lot of chicken and don’t skimp out on the ingredients. My wife and I went back about a month later and got some rolls also(we don’t the combo roll thing). The rolls were really good! The phở was really good too! Service was good! They totally deserve 5 stars. I would recommend coming here. It may be our new phở spot… Who knows…

Got lost on the way and found this place. Being a phở soup lover, I hastily tried out and eat lunch with my girlfriend. The place is small and not much décor on the walls other than a tv on the left corner. For the food, House Special Phở Combo was really satisfying and great! But them vietnamese egg rolls seems overcook when I tried it and only 3 rolls. Also, the employees doesnt really roam around and check on you after they gave you your order. Though other than that, if youre after the Phở noodles, I recommend this place! :)

Atmosphere was quiet. Service was quick and accurate. Price of food is comparable to other Phở places I’ve been. Has 1 unisex restroom and 1 television, which only had golf on. I went in the evening and place was busy.

Yes, I am a fan of Phở Season phở ‘sho. Interestingly this Vietnamese restaurant is run by what appears to be a Korean family and since I’m Chinese, I won’t pretend to comment on the authenticity of the food. All I know is, the phở is consistently very good. The broth is flavorful and rich like it has been stewing for hours. They also give you a good portion of phở noodles and meat. Noodles taste fresh and have a satisfying consistency. What a treat, especially on a cold night! To me the experience is as good as most phở restaurants — but good phở is a rare find in Foothills where I live so it’s extra special. The Korean family working here is just as nice and respectful as you can expect. You get the feeling that they are grateful for your business and want to take care of you. Needless to say the service is excellent. They are also good for take-out. Call them 10 minutes in advance and you’ll have a piping hot bag of food waiting when you get there. My only critique would be their non-phở dishes. I tried their vermicelli once and thought their meat was not very fresh. I don’t know if a lot of people order the vermicelli but I’ve since stopped. But you can’t go wrong if you stick with the phở.

Can we please get service? No, okay we’re out after 22 minutes of waiting. Other tables had to ask for someone to take their order as well. Is it part of the culture that if they don’t look at you then they don’t have to acknowledge you. Good lord — I hate not just poor service but acting ignorant on top of it all. It’s just phở so whats so hard about taking an order.

Growing up in La Crescenta, my friends and I were phở fiends and after many, many nights of alcohol-fueled fun, what better to recover than a nice, hot bowl of phở? I knew this place was open for awhile and I heard that it was the best phở in LCR, better than the childhood«favorite aka better than the other one on Pennsylvania» Phở 22. I stopped by with a friend at lunch time and it was really quiet. The water tasted very… tappy. Normally, I don’t mind tap water but this was pretty bad. The egg rolls were good but let’s be real: they’re probably just frozen and deep fried at the time of order so it should be pretty hard to mess that up. The phở I thought was pretty mediocre. It was really bland and had an off taste, almost like the smell of dishwater. My friend that I had lunch with is much less snobby about her food than I am but she agreed on all points. It could’ve been an off day when I visited but I’ll continue to not eat phở in La Crescenta anymore.

Very delicious. Best phở place in town. My family used to drive all the way to Van Nuys to have phở but now we don’t have to drive all the way over there. My favorite is the Rare Steak(#3). My dad likes getting the special combo(you get phở and 2 egg rolls). I recommend wrapping the egg roll in the lettuce and dipping it in the sauce. The portion size is really big. The soup is flavorful and the service is great. I will definitely be coming again :)

Korean owned mom & pop place in a location where I honestly wasn’t expecting a whole lot when it came to phở. But when I heard that they offered Oxtail Phở I just couldn’t resist giving it a try… The Oxtail Noodle was not bad at all. Tender chunks of boneless fatty meat came out in a separate small bowl sitting in its own stewing broth with a little chopped green onions. At first, it didn’t seem like a lot but after incorporating it with the larger main bowl of phở it was quite filling for the two of us. The main bowl came with little else but a few rings of thinly sliced onions, broth, and a clumpy mass of phở on the bottom. The broth which tasted sweet was not overly oily, but it wasn’t served piping hot either. By the time the I added the standard condiments(I didn’t think there was enough basil btw…) and stirred the broth to loosen the noodles, the broth had cooled off considerably. Nice touch to offer the thin sliced onions as part of the condiments, usually I have to ask for this… The Combination Rolls is made up of two cha gio, four rather pathetic egg rolls that look the mini ones that come out of the freezer section that I don’t consider to be authentic, and a(small) summer roll with shrimp wrapped in rice paper that was cut in half. I didn’t eat my half of the summer roll because I was already full from the phở, but the cha gio was crunchy enough. What I really missed was the large lettuce leaf with juliened carrot and daikon as only a small piece lettuce was offered. There wasn’t enough fish sauce for dipping either. The egg rolls were pitiful little rolls that reminded me of the ones they might sample at Costco’s. I wasn’t impressed enough with the cha gio to order this or it again… The food came out fairly rapidly in the time it took me to wash my hands before eating. The bathroom is cleaner than a HITWs but that isn’t saying a lot. I wouldn’t exactly call this place a HITW anyway but it has a little bit of a Hollywood vibe to it versus your traditional places in El Monte or Garden Grove/Westminister. Parking is a non issue as there seems to be plenty of spaces in this shared mini shopping mall. In fact, the place is pretty easy to reach just minutes off of freeway… A little pricier and more limited menu than the traditional places I go to for phở. I give it a 4 mainly on the strength of the oxtail phở which was decent but not as good as Phở 79 or Phở Lu in Westminister but hey, we’re talking about La Canada Flintridge so who’s to complain…

I am a fan of Phở Season! I am a phở enthusiast. I am picky and intolerant of bad phở. And I love Phở Season’s food :) First of all, I always adore family-owned restaurants. We all need to support small businesses more! Secondly, the service is great! The waitresses are friendly and they make sure your meal is going great. Thumbs up! And finally, the FOOD. The phở prices here aren’t the cheapest BUT the prices live up to the portions. They bring you these huge bowls… I LOVEIT. Finally, a portion that’s right for me ;) Oh and I don’t like eggrolls, ok? But I love Phở Season’s, ok? What. Yeah. So crunchy but not dry at all. Yum. I am definitely, definitely coming back when I’m in the area! Go Phở Season! :)

This is my go to phở place in the area. I’m not a big fan of «Korean» prepped phở, but I think these guys do a decent job at it. I usually order take-out and they are very generous with your dishes and soup. The staff are always kind and cordial and they prep take-out orders really fast!

The phở is actually pretty good. I was quite surprised since it’s owned by Koreans! I got the Phở Dac Biet. I just had came from a 15 mile hike up the near by mountains and I was famished. I was with my friend Dominique D. who had done the hike with me. There was only one waitress and it seems to be a family owned business. The waitress and the apparent manager/owner seems to be related and they had their niece/daughter with them. It was very homey! I love mom and pop operated places! My friend Dominique ordered Thai Tea and I ordered the Vietnamese Coffee. Being Thai I had a high expectations on Thai Ice Tea so I thought it was pretty mediocre. I have had better, plus I make a mean Thai Ice Tea myself. My Vietnamese Coffee though was pretty bomb! It came with a Vietnamese coffee drip press! I wish I took pictures to show but its a standard Vietnamese coffee drip press. For Vietnamese coffee you have to stir the condense milk that is on the bottom of the coffee before you drink. It was pretty good. I was actually having caffeine withdrawal symptoms(headache) and this cured it immediately! I really enjoyed the Phở Dac Biet. The tendons were good, the meat were good, and the tripe was good; however, for a basil lover like me I was disappointed that they gave very little basil. The price of my Phở Dac Biet was also $ 8.99, one of the highest prices I have ever paid for Phở, but I reckon it has to do with the rich area I was in. Overall if I was around the area(hiking) I would probably frequent this place again. The phở wasn’t the best, but it was definitely great! The service was mediocre but when called, the waitress was really attentive! I can see why this place has got great reviews.

Had dinner here last night and they have great phở and egg rolls. Their bowls are medium size, they don’t offer super huge bowls but one bowl will fill you up just fine. I like that they offer a phở and 2 egg rolls in a combo price. Had the number 2 phở which came with tripe, beef, thin noodles and a nice broth. My order came with two egg rolls and they were crispy and filled with vegetable goodness. Staff is polite and extremely attentive. Place is very clean. Parking lot is medium size which they share with a haircut & cleaner establishments. Will return.

From what I hear, Phở Season is the more decent option around the Montrose/LaCanada/LaCrescenta area. Not sure if that’s true, but I thought it was solid enough to frequent the place when I’m in the mood for it, and happen to be in the area. What I got: Phở with Rare Steak. Been here a couple times before, and they prove to remain consistent with the dish. As a huge fan of cilantro(or coriander, whatever you want to call it. Tomato, tomah-to), I place a lot of importance on the freshness of the herb, and it is indeed fresh every visit. All the other typical fix-ins were also fresh and plated in abundance! Can’t have enough of the bean sprouts! Also, how many of you can relate when the limes come UN-squeezable-y dry and shriveled up? Nope, never the case here! Okay, enough about that. Like I said, solid. The broth is very tasty and the noodles are cooked well. I’m not sure what more there is to say, except that it’s what you’d expect when craving it. I’ve never had«authentic; homemade» phở, so can’t compare it to the real thing, but it really isn’t much different than most other places. Combination fried rice. It wasn’t until recent years I realized… «Wow, I guess it really isn’t difficult to screw up a plate of fried rice.» Probably because a) I always thought you just had to throw everything into a pan/wok and voila! Improvisation always at its best! And b) I’ve legitimately screwed up a batch of kimchi fried rice before. Don’t ask how, because I don’t know myself. Anyway, felt a little skeptical, but bit the bullet and ordered it anyway, because I was craving rice, too. Blehhck, sure enough it was ridiculously bland, rice was deep yellow(I’ve nothing against the color, but why? what caused the coloring? Flavoring? No way! It was as flavorless as a bowl of steamed rice), bits of eggs were tough and overcooked, and I don’t remember what the«combination» meats were, because I didn’t get much of them. Oh, I remember the shrimps. Their Vietnamese Iced Coffee is pretty amazing. It’s not pre-made, so you basically brew it yourself in the french presser thingy majig, and they’ll give a tiny jug of cream and sugar to adjust it to your preference. Pretty awesome! Considering it’s Korean-owned, service is very friendly. They’re always perky and all smiles! It’s the complete opposite treatment compared to other restaurants in Koreatown, LA. Parking is very easy, abundant and hassle-free. The restaurant can get really packed, especially during the weekends of course, so try to beat the rush! It’s really narrow in there, and can seat plenty, but again, people do favor this place more than other Phở spots in the area.

The good: fast, friendly service. I ordered the #2. Literally 1 minute 15 seconds later, they served it to me. No joke. I timed them. The bad: there were about 7 pieces of meat in my bowl, and all of them had long, white pieces of greasy fat hanging on them. I don’t expect top quality meat from $ 8 phở but it was still disappointing nevertheless. Broth itself was ok. But like most phở, it didn’t taste good until I injected several squirts of the black and spicy sauce. ANYTHING tastes good with those sauces. You could slather some on a skunk’s fart and it would taste good. Why? Because it’s full of sugar, salt, and all the stuff that hastens your inevitable death. After I eat from most phở places, I feel dehydrated and significantly less healthy than before. This place was no different.
