Love this HEB! They have everything I need from groceries, beauty supplies, great customer service and surprisingly… super cute clothes! It’s the not the closest HEB to me but it’s certainly worth the extra drive time!

This review is only about the floral department. I used the HEB Plus in Kyle as the florist for my wedding in an attempt to save money. I didn’t want much, just a bridal bouquet and 4 bridesmaids bouquets. Since I do not live in Kyle, most of my communication with the floral department was done over the phone or via e-mail, but I did meet with the floral manager, Cynthia, for my consultation. There was quite a bit of confusion with arranging my invoice and accepting payment and I felt I was overcharged because of the way tax was applied to my bill, but I couldn’t get anyone to see my point of view on that and let it go. I wanted a whimsical, wildflower bouquet and what I got was nice, but not totally what I wanted. It felt pretty standard. My bridesmaids’ bouquets were very simple and I liked those a lot more than mine. I was told to expect my floral delivery by noon on my wedding day which would be perfect for 2:00 pictures. At 12:10, one of my bridesmaids called the store and was told they were loading the van and would be right over. My flowers arrived at 12:45, which luckily worked out with my schedule, but they were 45 minutes late and no one even apologized for the delay. They did throw in a toss bouquet which I wasn’t expecting, so that was nice. Over all the experience was fine. I suppose I could have found a better experience, but I would have had to pay more for it.

i love this HEB Plus! i live in s. austin, and 3 minutes from a HEB. however, i pass that HEB and several other grocery stores on the way to this one most every weekend. what i like about them: aisles wide enough for two way buggy traffic, i can find what i’m looking for 99% of the time, and friendly and helpful customer service. i would have given them 5 stars but they stopped carrying my Peanut Butter Cheerios! keep in mind, this is a pretty big HEB. so if you don’t like big stores, this might not be where you want to shop.

Need food? They got food! Need beer? Wine? They got it. Need pre made meals? You’re in luck! It is a great company, they are a strong community partner and help where they can.

One of the worse grocery stores I have ever shopped in. It’s junky and badly laid out. Plus when I go shopping for food I don’t want a lots of junk it’s not hygienic, plus the layout in the store is awful and the staff often don’t know where things are to be able to help you. You also have to much ethnic food for those of us who don’t like chili, salsa and hot foods.

I mainly go here for the plant section, they always look better than what Lowe’s has to offer. This HEB is LARGE, and very much like a Super Target. Appliances(TVs even), kitchen supplies(including electronic kitchen thingies), clothes(well, not like Lord & Taylor.), gifts, and a pretty nice florist.

I love HEB but I am not a big fan of this HEB. I think it is the layout of the place can’t seem to find what I need or it doesn’t carry it. It is in a convenient location too which bits even more since I’m not a fan of this particular store.

I love my HEB. Not only are they consistently friendly at check out. but the«sackers» know how to do thier job correctly. Produce is always fresh, meat is devine and they do not mind packaging a smaller amount for a single person. Did you know they give the«close to out of date» items to the local food bank? HEB has meats frozen for less fortunate to enjoy! NOW that is a way to give back to the community!

Love this store. I actually live in Austin/Manchaca & come here sometimes to get stuff I can’t get at my HEB. It’s freaking huge & takes a few trips to learn the layout, but I still love it. Easy to get in & out from I-35 or FM1626.

Really don’t like the store, and although the people are nice, no one goes out of their way to help you. The store itself is laid out oddly, and not even the people who work there know where stuff is. Takes me way too long to get through grocery shopping. Also, too much HEB brand and not enough national brands… Sorry, just not a fan. Unfortunately it is the only thing close. I’d pay the price for a Randalls(Safeway) or Sun Harvest or Whole Foods, or a Central Market.

I don’t get this place. It’s just too damn big. I have been twice now when visiting friends and it takes forever to find ANYTHING. It’s too crowded. What should be a 10 minute shopping trip can take 45 minutes to and hour. Circle C’s HEB isn’t even this bad. Does HEB really need to emulate a Wal-Mart? REALLY? As RVB says below the lay-out sucks. Target and Wal-mart have the right idea typically with groceries on one side and everything else on the other. Still love Central Market, my HEB of choice when available. Though they have certainly had their share of lay-out problems as well.

Store is ok, but I hate the pharmacy. I’ve had countless issues with the pharmacy, and don’t know why I’ve gone back to them so many times(oh wait, it is because of location. I would say convenience, but dealing with them is not convenient.) Avoid the pharmacy if you can.
