Don’t let the small town fool you. Bel Piatto is fantastic. We travel to Mississippi often to hunt, and we always eat there — especially for breakfast. The pancakes are probably the best in Mississippi. The eggs are cooked well also. Pizza and calzones are their forte, but I’ve never had anything bad on the entire menu. The service is great. You’re usually waited on by the owner or his son. The iced tea is as southern as any out there. We order the half-and-half. Easily the best restaurant in Kosciusko.

Ate here twice. First time had breakfast which was okay. Today we had lunch here. We had the calamari appetizer — it was over cooked and over salted — never had ranch dressing served with calamari. I had the lasagne which was awful — virtually no sauce or flavor and the garlic toast served with it was greasy and tasted like whatever was on the grill before it which was unidentifiable. My partner had the BLT sandwich which was dry and salty. Lastly, the service was dismal — the server brought our entrée before the salad and then brought only one salad even after being asked several times. We won’t be coming here again.

The chicken gumbo tasted homemade, the spaghetti and meatballs was excellent, and the chicken quesadilla was simply the best I’ve ever had. First class service as well. Highly recommended when traveling the Natchez Trace!

This restaurant has a very extensive menu, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food is pretty good and the people are very nice. Not a fine dining place but a safe bet.

Have eaten two times here. I Had the mediterranean pizza and really enjoyed the taste and texture. Hand made crust nice and crusty longer wait on pizza or get a salad while you wait. The Caesar salad it not all the great but the house is ok. Have also had the western Ruben sandwich it was different but good.

For a restaurant in Kosciusko, you’re options are slim. However, if Sandwiches or Italian is your thing, bel piatto is for you. Though I’ve found the quiches to be frozen warm ups and not all of the greens so fresh, I would recommend pizza and calzones. They have many specialty combinations for your choosing. They also have a good breakfast/brunch menu.

We stopped here on our way back home, the food came out quick and was delicious. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo, chicken breast was well cooked and cut into perfect bite size pieces, there was a little too much sauce for my taste but it was still tasty. The bread was soft and my sweet potato fries tasted like it was cooked in fresh oil. Definitely a good lunch place, I wish I was in the area more to have dinner.

I don’t want to rain on anyone but I was passing through from Memphis back home to New Orleans… stopped here to get a bite to eat and a chance to get out of the weather(motorcycle rider)…ordered spaghetti and meat balls. The meat balls had a washed flavor and when cut with my fork they crumbled. The spaghetti sauce was overly salted and over cooked. I went to this place based solely on the Unilocal reviews. Although they were old reviews, I didn’t think that it would be this bad.

Really good pizza — something about the crust makes it special and I’m living in Chicago now and have had the opportunity to have good pizza. I have ordered the«everything, everything» 3 times and not been disappointed once. It has pepperoni, sausage, ham, onions, olives, peppers and somre more stuff! I even ordered the pizza for breakfast about 10am and I didn’t have any issues and it tasted just as good — it was a little odd because they brought out my father’s food first and about 5 minutes later, my pizza came out. Timing it to arrive together would have prevented me from«helping» my father with his waffle. I’ve seen other dishes like omelettes, waffles, pastas — and they all look good. The waffles were delicious Service has been consistently strong as well!

We were traveling from Memphis headed home and were searching for somewhere to eat dinner on the way. Thinking to myself we would not find much of anything around Kosciusko to our liking on a Sunday evening I was pleasantly surprised to find this little restaurant with few but great reviews on Unilocal!I just knew it sounded too good to be true and surly had to be closed since I was really looking forward to trying it. Well a phone call confirmed they were indeed open. We sat down and took one look at the menu and were surprised at all of the choices and of great foods. I really had a hard time deciding what I wanted to try the most! This is very rare for me especially! We decided to go with the fried ravioli based on one of the reviews and were not disappointing! I decided on the salad full of strawberries, walnuts, feta cheese and fresh spring greens and ate just about every bite. The rolls and honey butter are very good as well. This place is about 1:15 from our house but we are already planning a trip back here just to eat! They also serve breakfast all day long and had great options there as well. I think next time I want to try the calzones as it really was a hard decision to make up my mind as to what to eat!

Excellent menu with many meal choices. It’s a very delightful surprise off the Natchez Trace. Had the Florentine Calzone, chicken & Spinach, a House salad and Tea.

Clean place and definitely a nice place for Kozy. They have a huge menu of American and Italian food. They have pizza, calzone, spaghetti, lasagna, and fettuccini. They also have burgers and steaks as well as breakfast all day! Prices are reasonable and the food is good for a little town. The rolls with honey butter were tasty. The salad had a nice selection of fresh veggies. The calzone was big and tasty. They serve the dipping sauce cold, but they will serve it warm if you ask. I will definitely go back and try other menu items. Thanks Alejandro! BTW, this is a small town, I don’t recommend anything like calamari and weird stuff like that.

The pizza was excellent but the lasagna was weak. The chicken dish was just melted cheese on two breast tenderloins… I do those at home and they cost much less. The server was young and nice but the manager was much more efficient.

Really good food at a decent price. If you’re looking for Italian, it’s a great little place. Good service but small selection on the menu. The fried ravioli rocks though. Check it out if you’re in Kozy.
