Second time I’ve been here. It’s a check the box for the island but no need to allot more than 15 minutes.

It was neat to see but nothing life changing. It’s blocked off by a fence so you park and admire from afar. If you’re driving by stop for a few minutes, but really not worth going out of your way for.

Definitely overrated. If you have a car and are in the area, then by all means go see it. But don’t drive from Princeville or something to see it. Like others have mentioned, it’s something you see for a few minutes and that’s it. It’s like the Old Faithful of the sea but the major difference being that there’s nothing else nearby to enjoy. Definitely do NOT recommend walking here at night as the end bit leading to the parking lot is not pedestrian friendly(no sidewalk). So you’re walking on a narrow road with cars going both directions. My girlfriend had initially intended to walk here but was glad we ended up driving as it’s a long walk for something so lackluster. Bonus: at least there’s free mangosteen trees you can pick from which makes it a little more worth it hehe

This is an interesting stop if you are in the area or on a tour. This was originally called a «blowhole» by early Hawaiians. The surf has two be coming in pretty hard to really see it spout. The day we were there the water was somewhat calm so it didn’t blow very hard but, it was cool to see. There is a large parking lot and there is a group of vendor huts feeling jewelry and souvenirs off to the side.

Fun thing to check out! There’s a few picnic tables. Grab a sandwich and a beverage. It’s really fun to hear the wooiooosch!

Fascinating hole created by rock formations. It’s pretty cool for about 10 seconds when you see the water shooting out, but then it becomes very repetitive. Worth stopping by if you’re on the south part of the island as it’s very close to the Sheraton Hotel. We stopped by quickly, hung out for a few minutes, then moved on. The tour buses also stop by here, so expect waves of people to come during the day!

If you are in the area, it is worth stopping by for about 15 minutes or bringing a picnic if it’s not too hot. We were impressed by spouts of water pushing through a lava hole, and my three-year-old thought it was hilarious. It is beautiful and mesmerizing. Plus, it’s free, and there is plenty of parking.

This is one place I had to see. I’ve been here many times before as a kid and I wanted to relive those days. The spouting horn lived up to its name giving up mist of water with every crashing of a wave. But I was more intrigued with the natural beauty that surrounds this place rather than the horn itself. The many shades of blue that the ocean produces and the picturesque coastline really steals the awe from the spouting horn. When see this place, you’ll understand.

«Miller Lite» It sounds more like a beer fart than a horn but it’s not a bad spot to stop if you’re in the neighborhood. A lot of little jewelry stands there as well as an overall nice vista point of the Pacific. I was there the other day and not too many were around so parking was a snap. Just don’t feed the feral cats.
