After an afternoon of lying on the beach in Poipu all I wanted was an acai bowl. I turned to Unilocal and found Anakes! It’s located in this small country store, all the way in the back. In addition to acai bowls, they also offered fresh juices and smoothies. I settled on the sau sai bowl mainly because I love the combo of strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. It did not disappoint! The medium size was plenty and very filling. It was exactly what I needed! I felt satisfied and recharged. This place would be great for breakfast or a fulfilling snack after a workout.

I’m freakishly obsessed with their acai bowls. SOFRESH, amazing local ingredients, made to order, in the back of a cute little grocery store in Koloa. Support local! You really can’t get a better treat while in Kauai. Haven’t tried the juices but I imagine they’re just as delicious.

Love this little stand! Had a couple of acai bowls from here while on vacation in Poipu and they were awesome. I had the Ke Kumu and the Funky Monkey during my week long stay on Kauai. The Funkey Monkey was super delicious.

If you’re staying near Poipu you must come to this place! It’s in the back of the Kukuiula Store, next to the Crossfit gym. They have amazing and healthy acai bowls, shakes and fresh juices. If you want to stay healthy on vacation this is a great place to get breakfast, etc. A life saver for vegans!

Just got back from Poipu and miss my daily juices and bowls. Healthy and delicious and the team there has good product knowledge. Perfect post-workout, pre hang out meal. Fresh food, not fast food, but not too slow.

Love this place. My favorite is the dragon bowl. It’s my favorite pitaya bowl I have ever tasted by far… I love it so much I dream about it and have thought about driving 45 mins to just get another one.

Awesome olena lemon chili water shot — cleansing! Amazing Hulk acai bowl — bee pollen and hemp and granola and raw honey — all local, amazing fruit. Super tasty and enough to share. Also had the Shrek juice. A great green juice that has ginger and some other tastiness. Honestly, you can have a mean variety lunch to share if you grab a burrito at Da Crack, a roll from Makai Sushi and an acai bowl for dessert. All within 20 feet of each other and all pretty reasonable. You’ll be out about $ 30 for all 3 items. Not too pricy and all super Ono.

I got«the hulk”-If you like acai bowl, this is the place. It’s the best I’ve ever had. The price is reasonable for all these dress fruits and the portion. Every spoonful has sometHing to chew on. Wish they have one of these in New York city. I want to come back for«da Dragon».

Aloha! I stop at this juice bar EVERYDAY. I usually get the kukuiula. I also get the cross fitter occasionally. My kids usually get acai bowls and I’ve stole a bite or 2 on several occasions and There also very delicious. Everything is fresh and made to order. Staff is very friendly as well. Definitely recommend it! It’s tucked in the back of kukuiula store. Look for the yellow submarine next to seasport divers and outfitters Kauai. Aloha

This is the place to visit if you want to break the monotony of eating the same style of food every meal while staying in kauai. Don’t get me wrong, I love eating all the various rice/carb + meat combinations that are available in Hawaii. Yesterday’s meal consisted of loco moco for breakfast and lunch then a burger for dinner and I regret none of it. But in the off chance you feel that guilt or your body asks nicely to take it easy on the animal fat, these acai bowls will do the trick. Portions are pretty generous compared to other acai bowl places on other islands and even the mainland. I tried the sau sai first because it seemed the safest way to test this place out and it was delicious. The fruit was fresh and the generous servings of granola and nuts really helped in keeping me from getting hungry again in 30 minutes. It was so good we decided to go back this morning and get more, this time I got the hulk. The combination of acai and what I can only describe as something similar to green machine is an absolute winner. I’m about to go eat another rice and meat dish so I can«cleanse» myself again.

One of my favorite places to get my acai bowl fix. A medium size definitely feeds two for $ 8, but who wants to share anyways? My favorite bowls are Sau Sai and Funky Monkey. They use fresh fruits, greek yogurt, coconut shavings, all the good kine. Even though it’s not low calories, it’s GOOD and beneficial calories to indulge in. If I could, I would have a bowl everyday!

SOGEWD!!! Came here with a group of 9 and we all loved the acai bowls a lot. Ingredients are fresh and great, toppings are plentiful and perfect. This spot is tucked in the back of a market, but you can eat at the juice bar or at picnic tables out front.

Great Acai Bowl. We tried the Sau Sai which they said was most popular. The ingredients were fresh, and Acai blended to order! I would definitely come back again! A little hard to find(in the back of a market) but worth looking for!

This was the first time I’d ever tried an Acai bowl and it was so good! Will definitely try to go back to this place before the end of our trip. I had a bowl that I can’t remember the name of, it had coconut flakes, chia seeds, fruit and granola on top. The Acai itself just tastes like sorbet. Tony had the funky monkey which had peanut butter in it. This is the one I’ll be having next time as I love anything with peanut butter!
