Taco Bell

This place is a joke. Just went to drive thru to order and NO ONE would take my order. There were no customer cars in the parking lot so they weren’t busy. Drove around and left. I noticed someone pull up to order at drive thru and I felt like telling them to give up trying to order. Left and went to McDonald’s, got my order and drove past to see that person still waiting. I can’t believe this place is still open with such poor service.

Yes, it’s Taco Bell, you know what that means. But TB is my indulgence, and has been for decades. I was on the road, heading back to Lafayette, and needed a quick place to grab lunch. Chipotle’s parking lot was full so I drove up the road to TB.
Whoever was at the register on the day I was there deserves a huge raise. Her positive attitude and great smile really brightened my day. You don’t find that in fast food often — if at all.
The dining room is kind of different from other TBs. The middle of the dining are is entirely high top tables and stools. Regular tables and chairs line the walls. I know some people have difficulty getting up on a stool, so I was surprised that the vast majority of the seating was this way. Also, the high-​tops are all bunched together in rows like a school cafeteria. Not very inviting or comfortable, but the dining area was clean. And no wi-​fi. Bummer.
That day, I tried the new Crunchwrap Sliders that sell for only $ 1. I am addicted to the Crunchwrap Supreme, so I had to try them. I was very impressed with the taste and the value. The spicy chicken really is spicy. The beef slider also has some tang, I’d say medium. The BLT had a generous amount of bacon (crumbled) and also had a nice tangy taste. Well done! I liked them so much I went to the Taco Bell in Lafayette the next day to get some more.
