Nice place close to all activities in the Smoky Mountains. Next door to the baseball stadium, home of the Tennessee Smokies, and a short drive to Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, NASCAR races at Bristol and the scenic Smoky Mountains themselves. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was large, clean and modern. Great breakfast. Nice pool. Recommended.

Let me start this review by noting that I first stayed down the street at another place, that admittedly was a little cheaper. But the contrast in hotels could not have been more glaring. When I walked in to register at Hampton Inns, I came out grinning like a fool. The lobby is very nice, and some nice touches. The carved bear sign outside was cool. The people were totally spot on, friendly and professional. An abundance of luggage carts. Fast elevators. Pool looked great. Breakfast lounge area looked great. Then we got to the room. Nice hand written post it notes telling us the duvet covers had been washed. Nice touch. Flatscreen TV. Great bathroom. Coffee and tea in room. Free wifi(use the menu on your browser and enter in room number and last name). The breakfast the next day was awesome. Nice it was not crowded at 6:45am, but it could handle a crowd. They had eggs, sausage, bisquits and gravy. Waffle maker. Pastries. Breads. Oatmeal with fixings. Juices. Cereal. Fruit. Yay. And the coffee was very good. Robust for the win. Check out painless as one would expect. There was a receipt under the door when we woke up.
