Very friendly and helpful staff. My fiancé booked us a couples massage, my first massage ever. When it was over I asked him why we hadn’t done it sooner. The atmosphere is beautiful and soothing. It brings on a sense of calm and relaxation. I could have fallen asleep! I very highly recommend Pure Luxe and I anticipate our return very soon. :)

Had a business trip and needed a massage. I found this place on Google and boy was it a pleasant surprise! Plush, nice cozy! The massage was amazing and my tensions were removed! They even offered a complimentary wash & blow dry! I couldn’t do it due to my time, but my friend did. I went with her and the chairs at the wash bowl lift like a recliner and massage you! This was an amazing experience and I will definitely look them up on my next route this way!!! Kudos staff!!!

I’ve been to some of the best spas around the world and this spa in my own backyard, so to speak, is top notch. I just got a terrific 90 minute deep tissue massage from Amanda – she really went all out to give me a great experience. Carrie, who wasn’t available this time, also does great massages. I appreciate the high standards of the staff at Pure Luxe and their professionalism, and the elegant facility. Pure Luxe is definitely the best spa in the Knoxville area.

I recently updated my review of this salon because someone had given me feedback on my original review that was a bit (in my opinion) condescending. The Director of Operations responded with a very respectable note after reading my second review. I am (once again) updating this review to 4 stars simply because I really did enjoy the salon and because I received a kind response from the Director. Next time I’m in the area (which will be quite soon), time permitting, I’ll be back for a massage. I do look forward to returning and stand by my original review that I would recommend this salon to others!

I’ve been here for a few services (facial, brow wax, haircut, massage)…so here goes.
As a salon/​spa experience, it cannot be beat. You get a robe, a locker for your stuff, and you can sit in the lounge or the sauna before your appointment (though there’s no cellphone reception in the sauna).
Now.the services. Good news first. I got a deep tissue massage a couple times from Stephanie and she is awesome. (Though on the online booking system I *know* I booked with Christie, and was not notified of the switch. It worked out okay, but a heads-​up would have been nice.) I got a facial from Michelle Lynn, and that went well. My skin looked and felt a lot better.
The not-​so-​good news: I went back to get my brows done. That went less well than the facial. My skin didn’t lift, but it was awfully close. I got a haircut there. Didn’t get to meet with the stylist before my hair was shampooed, so she didn’t see it dry… walked out with a blunt cut that looked like a ‘do straight outta Great Clips.
They also tend to push the retail product on your way out. I understand that’s a great way to add to their bottom line, so who can blame them for that.
tl;dr — Nice robes, good massages, somewhat lacking in time spent on consultation.

Pure Luxe is the type of place you go to when you are ready to really treat yourself. It is an extremely nice place with massages, facials, mani-​pedis, and other services. The staff there is great, and I left really feeling like I got a top rate experience. Lockers for my things, showers with 9 trillion jets, dark hallways and «moody» rooms for your massages and facials, and all the little extras. I was able to get my pedicure in a fun room with 3 of my co-​workers, and I left with feet feeling as soft and slick as butter. They even have little rooms with water and beverages for those holding parties there, so my work crew had a private place to hang before and after our pampering. Not one out of our 10 people disliked their service of either a pedicure, facial, or massage.
This is also the type of place that has bloated prices. It was my fault for not checking the website, but since in the moment I decided to do the top-​line pedicure I PAID for it. My pedicure cost what some places charge for both a manicure and pedicure. So definitely look at prices first. Ohhhh and I had Brenda and she was great. Ask for her too.

If you are looking for an amazing spa that gives you the bang for your bang and feel luxurious, this is the place for you. When you walk in, you are amazed with the modern sleek décor and the soothing music that they play.
They have an amazing bathroom/​changing rooms with lockers, showers that is decked out.
I have made this place my main place to go for massages (ask for Jill or Emily), haircuts (Annie) and other services. Their customer service is amazing and if you are looking for a treat, this is THE place for you.

This is a surprisingly nice place for Knoxville. I went recently for a massage and was very pleased with the facilities and service. The locker room was nice, albeit small. Very clean. They had all the good supplies — plenty of towels, shower caps, soap, shampoo and conditioner, lotion, razors, etc. They have AWESOME showers! The robes are fluffy and generous. They need some hooks for the robes near the showers. There is only one dry sauna, no steam sauna or jacuzzi. The relaxation room is nice, with water, coffee, and fruit. It is also on the small side with chairs but no daybed or lounger type furniture.
The massage was great! My therapist talked to me about my preferences but didn’t annoy me with chit chat. She asked about scents I didn’t like or was sensitive to. She gave me a product sample of Biofreeze but didn’t push me to buy it. I’ve never had a product sample at a spa, and that really impressed me! She worked out the knots and I felt great afterwards!
The staff I encountered were all nice, very professional. Their prices aren’t crazy, and they leave the amount of the gratuity up to you. A great place to get away for a few hours. I’ll be back!
