Had the mushroom pizza and I am extremely picky when it comes to pizza so I only ate the cheese and mushrooms and discarded the dough and crust because it was not worth my calories. It tasted similar to the chain, Papa John’s.

One star because the food is good. That is all I can say. It is overpriced. The staff are horrible and rude. They mess things up all the time they will not try to correct their errors only blame you for them. Do not eat here. Plus watch your credit card because they will over charge that.

I absolutely love hummus, but this was greasy and unappetizing. On top of that, I waited one hour for delivery, and I only live ten minutes away. I would not recommend. Go to Kroger instead.

Oscar’s is unique among Cumberland Strip eateries in that both: a) it has been around for years; b) it is a neighborhood-owned joint and not a chain. These are its wan, declining days; when I arrived the entire kitchen staff were rudely kicking their feet up in the lounge. After a long wait for someone, anyone who would properly serve a customer, I ordered pasta. The food has always been odd and inconsistent but today something tasted palpably rotten or spoiled. To top it off, I noticed a few dead flies skimming the surface of both food and drink.(I have a feeling that I might end up feeling hopelessly ill before this holiday season has even begun). I have a soft spot for Oscar’s because of its history, but after an experience like this I feel I’m ready to retire my loyalties.

The Management/Owner is very rude and non responsive. Food delivered after a hour wait. We didn’t receiver our full order and they said they would not credit that portion? I have never been talked to the way the manager did. Pizza was bland and cold and salads were overpriced. There are many other options. Think wisely about who you do business with because you are just supporting the wrong kind of rude unfriendly kinds of people.

Absolutely love this place. Amazing food and they give you a ton of it. I probably eat here once a week at the least.

Bad, bland food. Disclaimer though, I am from New York so am used to very good Italian food. When I see sausage as a choice of meat for a pasta dish I assume spicy sausage or something similar… not the same crumbled sausage that goes on pizza. The only thing I liked was the cheese, it did an okay job at covering up the taste of the food, but not enough for me to eat more than a quarter of the spaghetti and sausage I got.

13 bucks for a small platter of chicken Alfredo. I’m only 160 pounds and it didn’t fill me up in the slightest and it wasn’t spicy or flavorful and didn’t have any other ingredients beside cheese and chicken. Tasted okay but 13 dollars is ridiculous.

Years ago, in my drunken youth, I used to actually enjoy the BBQ chicken pizza here, somehow the cheese was flavorful, the BBQ sauce was tasty, the red onions were a great fit with both, and the chicken was still just chicken, but it wasn’t gross. Now it’s all lower quality versions of the ingredients on the previous pizza I liked. Even the fried sides like mushrooms and jalapeño poppers that should be all but impossible to screw up came out bland and cold last time I forgot why I don’t eat here. Seriously, if it’s late and you’re drunk, don’t even go here, go up the street to Cookout for tastier and cheaper food.

It was a great experience ordering food at 2 am. Food was delivered on time and tasted great…

Calzones are excellent as well as spaghetti & sausage. The Reuben sandwich is not up to the quality of the rest of your menu and should probably be dropped.

My friends and I went in to eat a little late one night, which should not have been a problem considering they were open until 2. The service was horrible, however the food was hot. After my friends and I had eaten a couple of bites we noticed a cockroach crawling across the table next to ours. We immediately told our waitress who then just swept it onto the floor. We then started seeing lots of cockroaches crawling in and out of the woodwork. We were disgusted and asked for the manager. We told him we could not pay for our food or even finish eating due to the disgusting conditions of the restaurant. He then started yelling at us saying that if we did not pay he would call the police. He called us «squeamish spoiled bitches» and forced us out the door after we paid. I will never go back here and will urge all others to do the same.

What in the world waiting 7 minutes on hold just to make an order!!! I’ve seen lots of bad management restaurants, but like this one never ever in my life and this’s my third 2nd time having a trouble with this restaurant. 1st time I was waiting for my order more than one hour, and now on hold for 7 minutes and he told me to wait A SECOND!!! They never admit that they have to change their management as soon as possible… PS: you can’t make an online order to quarry trail, that’s why I called them.

Worst service of all time. Dominoes made it to our lobby TWICE before they did. And the guy was a jerk when I ask him why it took an hour. I was a bar tender, I understand this system. Their service was unacceptable.

I had my food delivered to my hotel, and was disappointed they got my order wrong. I ordered the seafood sampler for an Appitizer and got chicken fingers, fries, and fried mushrooms instead. The delivery guy looked like an ISIS operative, very hard core and a little scary. The food itself was«okay», but I’ve had better.

In town for a business trip. Was recommended by the hotel to order from here. We ordered online which was very simple and easy. Then received an email confirmation saying we should expect our food in 30 to 45 mins. We were fine with that, it was late and we are in a college town. A hour later still nothing, we decide to go to the lobby and call. They confirm our order should be there in 2 mins. Once it finally arrives we head back to our room to discover they didn’t give us any utensils. The hummus pita wrap was horrible. The breadsticks were cold, they might have actually been good if they were warm. The only thing enjoyable from what we ordered was the bottled water. I would never eat here again or recommend it. Maybe get more than 1 delivery driver at night so the food doesn’t arrive over a hour later and cold.

It was pretty good. We had the New York meatball personal pizza and Meat Lovers calzone. The calzone was huge and yummy! My boyfriend had been drinking and Oscars definitely hit the spot. We had it delivered to our hotel. I ordered it through Unilocal online. No problems at all. Delivery was quick and guy was friendly.

When I was in college, my roommate and I ate at Oscar’s so often that I knew it had to be my first review. I didn’t have the problems with delivery services other reviewers had, but I also thought the prices were a bit more expensive than others thought, so maybe that balances out.(Or maybe it just shows I was a poor college student.) Anyway, Oscar’s biggest selling point has to be its variety. It’s a pizza place, sure, but you can also get pasta. You can also get burgers and wings. You can also get salads and deli sandwiches. There’s a decent chance you can find what you’re craving there. I personally liked the calzones best. Oscar’s had a good atmosphere, as well, if you were in the mood to chill out and talk with friends. Service was usually good, and the people there were friendly. I’m sure I’ll make it a point to stop by next time I’m in Knoxville, and it won’t just be the nostalgia factor that brings me back.

I’m staying at a hotel for a business trip and saw their ad in the binder of businesses that the hotel provides. It’s been a rather stressful day so I decided to splurge on some pizza. So I call and place my order. The girl taking my order was speaking some sort of broken English(this isn’t someone with a foreign accent, this is more along the lines of ebonics) and I had to repeat my order three times. Very simple too — meat pizza with black olives. I also make it clear that I need the pizza delivered to my room — I do not want to go down to the lobby because I’m trying to relax and going down while require me getting back into a business suit since I’m sure several colleagues of mine would be about. So after that, I wait about an hour(they said 45 minutes to an hour so they did fine there) and get a call from the delivery driver. He wants me to go down to the lobby. Ok, if I had known that, I wouldn’t have ordered pizza from you. But whatever, I’ll do it, I’m hungry and not in the mood to argue with someone who screwed up in life and is thus delivering pizza while in his 40s. I go downstairs and deal with a very unpleasant driver. Whatever. I go back upstairs and discover that there is no meat on my pizza! Just cheese and black olives! The receipt says«Meat + Black Olives» only there was no meat at all! Ok, now I’m pissy, but hungry nonetheless. So I eat the pizza. And you know what? If I wanted something like this, I would have just ordered Papa John’s. Seriously. The sauce tastes the same, the crust is similar, and they even have some of that gross butter sauce in a plastic container for you. So yeah, this is basically Papa John’s under a different name with really crap service. So, in short, avoid this place. I’m planning to complain to the hotel tomorrow morning when I check-out. A very nice hotel like this shouldn’t be promoting a horrible business like this.

I ordered from this place last time I was in town. I had them deliver to my hotel and was not pleased with the service. The driver called me and said he was down in the lobby and I would need to come down and pick up my order. This would have not been an issue if they would have advised me of this during my order placement. The pizza was good but the loaded fries had the cheese on the side and it was cold. Regardless I said if I come back to town I would be fair and give them another shot. This time I decided to go pick it up as there online ordering process is a joke. Food was decent not the best but worth the money. The service though is horrible and they are not friendly at all. I will not be going back to this location. I gave them a couple of tries and overall they failed. Good Luck
