The lady at the front desk was racist. And she was very disrespectful to me. I did not like the service here.

Love Natural Alternatives and the Aveda line. My husband and I visit regularly for massages, facials, and hair services and we are always pleased. Ashley just did a new haircut for me and it looks great! Very comfortable setting and pleasant staff. LOVE the Aveda tea that is always fresh and hot. The salon on Turkey Creek has the most amenities, but the one on Cedar Bluff is a hidden gem!

I have been getting my hair colored and styled by Janell for years, following her from one Natural Alternatives location to the Cedar Bluff location! She listens to what I ask and does a great job of delivering. When I leave the salon, I always have a smile on my face and feel great about my hair! (I am in Knoxville, TN now, not GA)

I tried very hard to make this my regular salon because there was just so much to like about it. Nice upscale location, lots of services, natural products, and I loved the fact that they offered free water and/or tea the whole time you were there. However unless you don’t care about who does your hair or other services each time this is not the place for you. I went several times and was never able to make an appointment with the same person twice. This wouldn’t have been so bad but the consistency of service is not even remotely equal among the stylists. I’ve had really good work, really meh work, and really bad work from this salon. The last time I was trying to get an appointment for color and cut I was making for well over a month in advance. They had no appointments available with anyone I had ever seen before. I asked the receptionist to recommend someone for me but when I started asking questions he had no idea who the stylist was or what her work was like. I ended up talking to the salon manager who was completely unhelpful in helping understand their appointment process or in helping me get an appointment set. He acted like he didn’t have time to be talking to me and that he was being put out by my questions. So I decided to take my business elsewhere.

Been here for the first time. Wonderful place and lovely people. Chelsea was my hair stylist and she was great. The thing i loved about this place was my hair cut started with scalp massage then while shampooing, i had back massage form their massage chairs. I will be here everyday if i could. Absolutely loved it and loved chelsea. She walked me thru all the styles i could do with my hair. Gave her a hug and returned happily. I wish they have branches all over USA.

I’ve had mens haircuts at both this Aveda store and also at Salon Azure. Both do a good job, I’d say equivalently. That said, they are probably among the better places to get a mens haircut in Knoxville, but are by no means spectacular if you’ve ever lived in more cosmopolitan places. Standard service is free coffee, drinks when you arrive. A neck, scalp massage. They’ll wash your hair, cut and trim it, and then wash it again and style it. They offer several different«levels» of cuts, I usually just get whatever is around $ 20 – 25. That way I can get out for less than or equal to $ 30. More than $ 30 for a guys cut… all said and done is excessive, unless you are John Edwards. Another great perk they offer is free trimming between cuts. I usually get my hair cut once every 8 weeks, so this allows me to still look respectable during the time in-between.
