An OK bottle shop. Mostly wine and such. The beer cooler is pretty small and limited, but I did see lots of Founders and Smuttynose, which was surprising. It is a nice little establishment if you live in DT Knox

While this store actually has a decent selection of wine, beer and liquor, service knocks it down many stars and I won’t be visiting again or sending people their way. I walked in the other night with two medium sized dogs on two leashes and full hands. After buying two bottled drinks, I asked for a bag to carry them in. The man working that night made it clear that the bags are about $ 0.20 a piece and reserved for those who buy expensive wine. Those were his exact words and I felt bad that I had asked for a $ 0.20 bag for my $ 5 purchase. I tried to explain that I would be unable to carry my drinks(in the drink holder he offered), dogs and stuff and would appreciate a bag. I even offered to pay $ 0.20 for the bag but he grumpily told me there wasn’t a way he could charge me for it before he finally let me have the bag with the biggest frown on his face. Jeez. I have stopped here intermittently over the last couple years to buy drinks but not anymore. I’m sorry that a $ 0.20 bag is more important than trying to keep your customers happy. Thankful that there are other places downtown I can get beer and looking forward to wine in grocery stores in a few short months.

This is a delightful store with a better than average selection. There’s no shortage of good wine and liquor to suit quite a price range. While I’ve picked up expensive bottles of liquor here, I’ve also picked up plenty of new-to-me wine and champagne on recommendation of the staff, who are always helpful. They have a good selection of mixers, bitters, cocktail syrups, and some glassware and bar tools as well. Definitely stop in — they also have a good email newsletter.

A bit over-priced, a middle of the row selection of higher quality whiskeys, bourbons, and scotches, but the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and it’s convenient for those who live downtown.

What a great find on an eastbound trip! Great, spot on recommendations for some Tennessee wine and the moonshine pick was spot on! Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. When I try the house rye whiskey I will try to remember to post back on how it turned out!

A great wine, liquor, and beer shop in downtown K-town. The staff is super knowledgeable and the feel to the store is modern and hip. They have an eclectic selection of wine at reasonable prices. I trust the pallet of the wine buyer and know that most any selection I make is going to be good. Check it out… Cheers!

Living downtown makes this my main stop for booze. It’s not very big, but has a very sophisticated feel to it. It’s not a very large store, but they have an amazing selection of spirits. What makes this place a 4 star is that while they have plenty of spirits to choose from the wine selection is limited and the beer selection is even smaller. It’s a good place to pick up some craft beer, but is a bit overpriced per bottle. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They will give you honest opinions on a product and even recommend a cheaper product if they feel it is better. That to me is worthy of my business alone. Also, join their email list and you get a discount on every purchase. Cheers and enjoy!

Like Ashe’s, this is a grown up liquor store with a sophisticated, even urban look and feel. It has a smart selection of wine and an even better selection of spirits and beers. The staff knows what they are talking about, and they offer good deals on the first of each month. Also, UT affiliates will be pleased to find out they get a university discount.
