I booked my reservation with this crappy hotel back in February 2012 for a two-​night stay for August 10 and 11, 2012. We were going to be attending the State Fair in Sedalia, MO. When we arrived, after driving 300 miles and arriving at 10:30 PM, we were first greeted by an employee who was more interested in chit chatting on the phone to her friend than to helping customers. When she finally took the time to see to my needs, she informed me that she did not have a reservation for me anymore because they gave my room away due to a plumbing issue they had earlier in the day. They had no more rooms available. When I demanded she contact the manager of the facility, Patsy, she also was not interested in helping resolve the situation. The owner of this facility also owns the Travelodge in Concordia, MO, so they moved us there and we had to drive 20 more miles to reach the hotel. That also meant that we would be driving 38 miles each way for the days we were attending the fair. I was absolutely appalled that they sold my room out from under me. I WILL NEVER BOOK AT THIS FACILITY AGAIN AND I RECOMMEND YOU DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GET A ROOM SOMEWHERE ELSE. This hotel should be put OUT OF BUSINESS!

BED BUGS!!! Yes, I said it… BED BUGS!!! …but I’ll get to that in a bit…
The staff here is great! All that I encountered we’re very nice and friendly.
As for the «motel» itself… Pretty old and dated… Drive up to your ground floor room. If you’re on the second floor you have to take the stairs to you’re outside walkway room… Like I said, «motel».
As for the rooms, I was in a king room with a sofa bed. Nice sized, just dated. Old flowered bedspread and plaid curtains, etc.
Everything always appeared clean. However… After getting numerous bug bites… More every day… I found bed bugs.
I chose to cut my stay short and move out.
I reported to the staff upon checking out so I don’t know what they did about it.
I later found out from people at the office I was working at that it’s a known problem at this hotel and they don’t let their military people stay there… Nice…
So anyway… I would have given it 2 stars if not for the bed bugs…
