I visited this restaurant based on the great Unilocal reviews. Unfortunatly, it didn’t quite live up to the expectation. It is very corporate, and the service was practically non-existent. My meal, which I ordered mid-rare, came out well done. When I mentioned the mistake to my server, she suggested next time I order it more rare, because sometimes it comes out a little more cooked than requested. No offer to refire or comp the meal. Just a suggestion that next time I know better. I certainly won’t be ordering again.

So I realize this is Oregon and not Texas, KC, or Memphis, but it should not be so hard to find good BBQ. I had the combo plate with baby back ribs and tri-tip. The sauce on the ribs was too sweet for my liking, and the ribs were not very tender at all. The truth-tip had a good flavor, but was also pretty tough. The plate came with fries and garlic bread, which were pretty good. Add a soda and we are over $ 20 with tip. The service was good and the atmosphere was decent. I’m not a BBQ snob, but I am quite unimpressed and cannot recommend the place.

I was in Klamath for the day and really wanted to try this BBQ place. Unfortunately it was Super Bowl Sunday and they closed at 3 pm for the game. Bummer summer. Gave them 5 stars anyways as they have their priorities straight!

Busy Friday night and I waited for less than 5 minutes. I got my food super fast, it was pretty great. My server was Heather she refilled my water and checked on me often. The only negative is it’s expensive. I spent $ 20 on myself. Other than that no complaints.

Was in town visiting family for the weekend, and we all tried this place because of the good reviews. I got the tri-tip feast, and the people I was with both got ribs. They really liked their ribs(and they looked really tasty) but the tri-tip was nothing special. It was pretty dry, actually, but the au jus that accompanied it was delicious and made the meal worth it. Drinks are a little weak, but that’s neither here nor there. Service was a little iffy, too. Good laid-back atmosphere and TVs in the bar. If I was writing this solely based on my own meal, I would give it 3 stars, but because my family’s ribs looked and tasted really good, I’m giving it a solid 4-star rating. I hope to visit again next time I’m in town to try something else off the menu!

A rare 5. Why? Because it’s everything you want in a BBQ joint. Starting with the tap, of course, strong showing of local brews. To be fair, that is not difficult in Southern Oregon, but still important. And even though not indicated, they do sport a full bar. I ordered the Hogs Back — pulled pork with slaw on a roll — with the«Baked Potato Salad». The salad was potato salad, but a cut above. Flavorful, the right amount of bite, and a decent portion as a side. The sandwich was spot on as well. The pork was flavorful and very tender. The coleslaw was fresh, crisp, and the right amount of wet. The only complaint I would have, and a weak complaint at that, is there could have been more slaw and a little less meat. Ok, more slaw — the meat was fine. And the bread was fresh and soft. And for me the only way to get a five is service. I sat at the bar and was the only one. For a bartender/server that can be a dilemma. But Whitney was a rock star. Lots of tables and never missed a beat. In short — this is a place you should eat. This is a place I will come back to. Prost!

Their BBQ is hit-and-miss. Sometimes it’s great. Other times it’s just okay. That said, the sides are always good(specifically the okra and fries), and the Hog’s Burger(burger with pulled pork and coleslaw on top) is the best in town, IMO.

Ok so usually when I plan my trip the 1st thing I do is log into Unilocal app to find the best restaurant to fill my appetite and naturally this one showed up on the top in Klamath falls location, there was no way I could have let it pass. So, after our visit from crater lake we checked into our motel got freshened up and headed straight to wubba’s. As you enter on the right they have lounge and on the right you have dining we went for the dining and promptly got greeted by our server nicole. She was enthusiastic, knowledgable and nice so that kind of started us on the right track, Since we were just two people we went for getting the judges combo and sharing it along with those two extra appetizer for 2.99. It was a 15 min wait from then on and boom she brings in two huge plates filled with some amazing meat and appetizers. Really, believe me I literally started salivating from the look of it. I had St. Louis ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket, grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, onion straws, seasoned fries and corn fritters in front of me. Now lets delicately slice through each one of them. St.Louis Ribs — They had a bit more bbq sauce on them but as many users have noted did not have that smoky flavor to it but yeah the meat did fell off the bone and the taste was good not great. To put it in different words, the taste wasn’t authentic. Beef Brisket — These chunks were flavorful and juicy enough, the meat was tender and had that nice crust on the exterior which held on to the flavor more, they were cooked medium well and soft enough to chew. Grilled Chicken — Nothing special, they actually should have given chicken leg quarter but since they ran out of it they substituted the same with this grilled thing, somewhat this dish was a bit out of place like it does not belong to a bbq shack though it had a distinct flavor the chicken was a bit dry. Pulled pork — This is the star of the evening, perfectly cooked still holding on to the juices and each strand yelling me out to gorge them as quickly as possible. Mashed potatoes — Another highlight, they do make an actual mashed potato from scratch not the slimy crappy one we r so scared of, they actually taste really good with natural ingredients blending in to provide a nice distinct flavor. Onion straws — Thin onion strings dipped in battered blended with salt, pepper and deep fried, they do taste amazing. Seasoned fries — The same that we all have eaten anywhere we go. Corn fritters — Taste it to know it, a must get over here. Overall, the food works well as a combo but individually they do range from 2 to 5 stars. Definitely, not the authentic BBQ shacks but more of an imitation crab in sushis. One star extra for the service.

Decent BBQ. Pulled pork doesn’t have enough flavor. Ribs were better.

Once again we are back in Klamath visiting for Christmas, and of course we had to go to Wubba’s! I’m happy to report also, that for this visit, they definitely earned a 5 star review! Their food was amazing as usual, and this year their service was top notch! We all had their combo platter once again, and I got their pulled pork, chopped beef, and ribs, with mac salad and potato salad as sides. It was just as amazing as last time! The meat was very tender, had great flavor, and no gristle… it was pretty much perfect! The ribs were once again amazing as well, lots of meat on them and pretty much fell off the bone they were were so tender… sooo good! Their portions were huge also, even bigger than I remember, and we had enough food for dinner that night and then lunch the next day! Their sides were great as well, mac salad was on point and the potato salad was awesome! Lots of bacon and cheese in the potato salad, you could even make a meal out of just that one side! Very very good! This year the reason why they get 5 stars and not 4 is because of the service! Our server was awesome, she was so attentive and sweet, got us refills on our drinks all the time and was a pleasure to chat with. Very good service this year, Wubba’s has definitely improved on that category, and they also have re-done the inside as well… what used to be the restaurant area is now the lounge and a whole new room is opened up for the restaurant… Good job, Wubba’s! We will definitely keep coming back for years to come!

Food is pretty good as always. However we generally get stuck with the same server who is cranky and rude. I think it’s time to go elsewhere for BBQ. Sorry Wubba’s, you’ve taken a dive.

I’ve been to wubba’s twice. Both times the service was lackluster. Seemed like they didn’t really care about my business. The first time they were quite busy and it took a loooong time before I could get my order in and even loooooooonger before I got some grub. The second time was equally lethargic however it was even more inexplicable because it was not busy at all. Really should give this place 3 stars but because the food actually is quite good I’m giving it a 4. Some of the best BBQ you’ll get outside of Kansas City, Texas and North Carolina.

I was staying in Klamath Falls during my Oregon trip 2 weeks ago and chose this place because it had decent ratings. My family ordered the BBQ judges combo, and the Tri-tip and ribs combo with cole slaw, fries, mashed potatoes, and corn fritters. Sides: Coleslaw and fries were average. Mashed potatoes were creamy but needed a bit more salt and garlic. My favorite side were the corn fritters! I definitely agree that they’re one of the best things on the menu. They’re crispy and sweet on the outside, like a donut, and it’s stuffed with corn on the inside(kind of life fried corn bread balls). Meat: From both orders, we got beef brisket, pulled pork, chicken quarter, St. Louis ribs, baby back ribs, and tri-tip. I liked both the St. Louis ribs and baby back ribs in that they were both juicy, fell off the bone easily and were flavorful. The chicken was tender and well seasoned. To me, the rest of the meats were below average in that they were dry and overcooked. Although I did like the ribs, I wish that they put less sauce on it because they put an overwhelming sauce on the ribs which took away from the natural flavors of the meat. I’ve had much better BBQ, but it’s a decent option if you’re in the area and don’t want to eat fast food

This is the first place that we were recommended to try when we came into town. In contrast to a majority of reviews, I found the food here to mediocre at best. We started our meal meal with the cheese curd appetizer. They tasted good when there was enough cheese inside to balance the amount of batter. Unfortunately, most of the bits that came out were small, thus largely batter. The cheese curds came with a portion of ranch dressing with the consistency of skim milk. As our main course, we shared an Ultimate combo with brisket, pulled pork, and st louis style ribs. For sides, we chose the corn fritters and bacon green beans. The ribs were overdone to the point of being mushy, the pulled pork was on par with applebee’s, and the brisket(most disappointing of all) was extra rare and chewy. The corn fritters were very tasty, but the green beans seemed like they were from a can and seasoned with drippings(no actual bacon to be found). The most telling dish(imho) of how well a given restaurant understands BBQ is how they do their brisket, and this is where the one star rating comes from. If they were to be judged by the brisket I received at any BBQ competition, Wubba’s would be laughed out of the competition. When chunks of lean brisket are just thrown on a grill momentarily, that is not BBQ. Not to mention the complete abscence of fatty brisket(the best part) anywhere on the menu. The service was adequate as service in the food industry is a disappearing art. Many say that this is the best BBQ place in town. That may be the case, but it doesn’t mean it’s good

Always good food and service. BESTBBQ in town, hands down. My personal fav is the chicken Susie-Q sandwich with the fries. Also they have awesome pies for dessert. Prime rib on Friday and Saturdays are the best! Definitely recommend, they also have a drive through/fast food bbq shaq not so far from the restaurant.

Nice clean spot, popped in on the way to Reno. Arnold palmer was nice, not to sweet. While we were sitting there the power went out on the entire city block. They immediately got on the phone to see what the wait time was for repair, on top of it. Informed us our food got done just before power went down. We got lucky! They also made a mistake on my dads nachos and graciously told us they were remaking them without us asking. I had the slamming steak sandwich — juicy, flavorful, and tasty. Wife had trip tip BBQ sandwich — BBQ ratio to meat was just right, tender meat, and thickness made it easy to eat. Dad liked his nachos. Overall, good joint, look forward to getting into the more traditional BBQ plates, ribs, etc. Service was quick and polite.

I’m finally thankful to have found an AWESOME restaurant in K Falls when I am in town visiting from California My only regret was and is my fault, I waited too long to eat here out of all the years I have been visiting. I got the 8 Rib Baby back rib entrée with corn fritters & loaded garlic mashed potatoes. Easily shared by two. Definitely delicious fall off the bone ribs. And for someone who doesn’t care for/is picky with BBQ sauce.(Yeah, I know… Why go to a BBQ place…) their sauce was finger licking good. If it wasn’t proper etiquette, I’d had been licking them in the restaurant.

With a silly name like Wubba’s BBQ the food it better stand up on its own or this place will be shut down faster than a one doored clown car. Fortunately for us the food was pretty solid. Maybe not KC style BBQ or Bludsoe’s caliber but pretty ok. Ok it’s right next to the boot barn so that’s a good start for a little cowboy appeal and a bunch of Harleys out front is always a good sign. if you are a BBQ nut like me its the only BBQ joint within 100 miles so I went. The place was pretty packed at 8:30 on a Friday night still we were seated quickly and after a little awkward juggling of the preggo waitresses we hooked up for some supper. DRINKS: For starters they have 10 plus Oregon &CA craft selections on tap and a dozen or so more bottled. Nice start! Plus the average soda /tea /milk for the kids. So good even my daughter loved it! LOL! And they also do catering They also boast several BBQ competition winnings. Almost a 4 but the non-smoke flavor lost a bit. Still I’d come back.

For being a BBQ Joint in the middle of nowhere, I have to give this place major props. My boyfriend and I were in town during a road trip to crater lake. After getting back, we wanted a nice meal in Klamath Falls. Luckily, Unilocal came to the rescue with this place and what a place it is. With a place named Wubba’s, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Wubba’s service was up amazing and our waitress was super helpful and very funny. It made for a welcoming experience. The décor is pretty cute, it’s set up like any other bbq joint would, very western themed. I wasn’t expecting much from the food since this joint is literally in a strip mall in the middle of small Klamath Falls. Boy was I wrong. They give you a lot of food for what you pay for. I ordered the BBQ Salmon with 2 sides(garlic green beans and seasoned fries), my boyfriend ordered their regular burger with a side of corn fritters. All the food is . I am still salivanting at all the amazing bbq I digested yesterday. By far, one of the best BBQs I’ve had. Especially amazing is their corn fritters. I can’t explain how truly amazing these drops of fried corn dough is. Just get it! My salmon was cooked well with this great bbq plum sauce and the fries and garlic green beans, were an added delight. I got the bbq ranch dipping sauce for my fries and loved it. I highly recommend it as a dipper. Overall, if I am ever back in Klamath Falls, I’d come back here.
