The Waffle Hut

This restaurant was delicious! The waffle options were like nothing I’ve ever seen before. There was hearty and fruity and rich and soooooooo many options. Everyone in our group had something different! I had the Go Ducks, my husband had the Hustlin’ Owls, my kiddos who eat like adults had the Banana Pudding, Harvest and Peanut Butter Fudge. We all left stuffed! The service was excellent, the restaurant was clean and the bathroom was clean! I will definitely be back!

If you are driving to Klamath Falls and want some good food to eat, this is the place to stop.
My family drove from Portland to here and we got here around 10:30 pm. The only restaurants that were open were this place, a pizzeria, and Denny’s. We were going to eat at Denny’s but then I checked the Unilocal reviews… and, well, they were pretty crappy. I checked this place out and read wonderful reviews. So we ended up quickly driving here before it closed. To my surprise, the workers welcomed us in without any trouble and we ordered quickly at around 10:40. We ordered French Toast, Country Fried Steak, Chicken Salad, Strawberry Waffles, and the Denver omelet. All of the food arrived at around 10:49, and it was so delicious! I personally ordered the french toast and it was made really well, with a bunch of butter and syrup. We were in a hurry since it was about to close, but the waitress assured us to stay in for however long we needed. The atmosphere was really warm and the workers were very kind. Overall, it was a nice late dinner and a great place to stop by.

Stopped in on the way from Portland to Reno. Busy place, but an amazing staff got us seated quickly. Ordered an omelette, and it was well cooked and on my table within 6 minutes. The cooks and wait staff are clearly experienced, efficient and friendly. The food was terrific and very reasonably priced.
I won’t go through K-​Falls without stopping here in the future.

An absolute must stop when you are in K-​Falls. Besides the great food, if you want a half, or baby as they call it, waffle, they actually charge you half price! I know? Right?! Service is friendly and they power through the patrons. There is almost always a wait but as I said, they move people in and out quickly but you don’t feel pressured to leave. Today I am getting a full Hustlin’ Owl and a baby special of the month which is a bacon maple waffle. Yum! They have both sweet and savory waffles plus other breakfast items and lunch and dinner also.

The place was place was packed but once seated the services was quick and the food was made instantly. The portions were large! We shared a banana pudding waffle, I had a breakfast combo and my husband had the French toast. Everything was tasty and filling. We would definitely come back if we were in the area.

We had to come back, a second time, because the food was so good, and so filling. Reasonable prices, too.

Amazing waffles! Didn’t get a chance to try the dessert-​y ones but the savory waffles were outstanding. I would definitely go back if I am in the Klamath area again!

Great crew running the diner! I wish we had a Waffle Hut with these hours. Locals and visitors love this place. I saw some locals ordering a bowl of oats… which I consider legitimate love for a breakfast joint. They have a fantastic price point with wonderful choices of foods for both those needing little bites to hungry eaters. Sometimes you just want waffles without spending more than 10 $. The food was amazing! Best waffle I’ve ever had! The service was great and reasonable prices for as delicious as it was. I’d recommend this place to anyone going through town

A very great spot I wish we would have found sooner in our visit. We were all over the board with out order I purchased the soup of the day my son’s both got waffles and my wife a cheeseburger. The prices were great and the food was wonderful. The place is a little odd but they have plenty of seating. Every one of use loved out meal I will say the waffles are sugar on top of sugar on top of sugar so your kids will love it.
My only complaint was the druggies out behind the waffle house I don’t know if it’s a usual hangout for people who need to get their meth fix but it was quite interesting to see after out meal.

If you like typical diner food this is your place. Ventilation needs to be improved as you will smell like the food when you leave. The cooking area was unclean. Maybe an off day but I won’t be returning.

If I could do 3.5 stars, I would. Food is pretty good, though Liege waffles are an acquired taste in savory dishes.

With a give away name like «The Waffle Hut», need I say they specialize in waffles? Their banana pudding Leige waffle is the best I have ever had! If you have a sweet tooth (or teeth coz this ones heavily loaded!!!) then this is a not-​to-​be missed dish!
Garden Omelette was decent but hash browns served with it was very tasty. A big (& economical) portion of food!
Breakfast is served all day long. An additional diner menu is available from 5:00 pm.
On a late december freezing afternoon in Oregon, the warm service by Judy with some scrumptious food is exactly what we needed! If you are around the area you should give this place a shot!

One of the few restaurants opened past 9pm in Klamath Falls.
We stopped by for a late dinner, and it was fairly empty. Our waitress was really friendly and food was decent.
The Hustlin’ Owls was yummy — it came with bacon, eggs, and hash on top of a waffle. HUGE portion, and surprisingly very delicious.
I had a craving for biscuits and gravy but when my order came out, it was kind of disappointing. It was a huge portion, but the gravy looked like a giant blob and was kind of lukewarm.
Stick with the waffles.

I have no doubt this place has great waffles! However, I had a really difficult time liking the special that we ordered. Being the month of October, their special is pumpkin waffles! What’s not to love about that so we ordered it.
What the dish came, I was in shock! It’s a plain waffle with canned pumpkin purée on top. The pumpkin is not in the waffle dough and there’s nothing special about it at all! To make it worse, the pumpkin purée is not warm at all! It’s like they opened a can of pumpkin purée and just spooned it on top of the waffle!!!
Hmm… Other than that, I have to admit that they have great service. The ladies serving us were friendly and nice. The place is simple but clean. I’d stay away from the specials and just order a plain waffles with fruits next time.

I had my first savory waffle here, and it was delicious! The waffle was flavorful with a nice burnt sugar coat on it. It was super moist and had a nice bite to it. I wish that the waffle was a bit crispier since it was on the softer side. My waffle was then topped with potato hash, mushrooms, spinach, ham, and cheese. The portion of each topping was generous. I was a bit scared about the combination of savory ingredients with waffles, but they actually complemented each other really well. The waffle wasn’t too sweet, but the addition of the vegetables lightened up the dish as a whole, and were really refreshing. The only thing that I would change would be the raw mushrooms; I love mushrooms, but I think it would make the dish as a whole even better if they were sauteed in butter first.
The restaurant is pretty small, and most customers seemed to be regulars because the waitress knew them by name and would talk to them. The waitress was prompt and attentive. She filled our water and coffee cups multiple times during our breakfast. Though the waitress was extremely friendly towards my family and I, her attitude and interactions with her coworkers were not very professional. She was complaining very loudly to the cook about her job, and then towards the waiter, their interactions were really tense and she was impatient with him. I’m not sure if this happens on a regular basis, but it did catch my attention.
This is probably the only decent breakfast place in the area if you don’t want fast food breakfast, and I was actually pleasantly surprised!

Literally the best waffle I’ve ever eaten. Leslie Knope and Ron Swanson would definitely approve of this little spot.
It is little though, so on a busy morning expect a wait, but it is worth it… so worth it.

Wow, I must say WOW! I went with the Pineapple something minus coconut, since I LOVE strawberries and Pineapple and it had both of them, I must say I was VERY impressed with the place, the food and service was above great! If your heading through Klamath Falls, or live nearby I would most certainly recommend this place!
Plus love they have Pepsi products :)
