Chilling Out Ice Cream is the best ice cream shop in all of Florida. I have been to Twistee Treat and it was much WORSE than Chillin Out. I would come here all the time if I could, but I’m not a local. I highly recommend this shop with its delicious chocolate/vanilla twist. If you have the chance to come then come! I got the chocolate/vanilla ice cream twist and I loved it. It was as sweet as it should be, it was rich, and creamy. I’m sure everything on the menu has the same deliciousness. I like the political signs. Such good ice cream.

Customer service sucks . Just went today 8÷22÷2015 @10:00 pm ordered a pineapples milk shake and got a 16 oz cup of milk So I went back to the window and asked the guy at the window if they could put some pineapple in it and make it thicker like a milk shake should be and I got the same cup back there service is bad and they take to long to make a milk shake waited 15 min . Twisty treats is far much better and a lot more friendly.

Thought this was a twistee treat… not even close. The vanilla chocolate swirl was ok, but their«pistachio» ice cream was just vanilla ice cream with some green food coloring swirled in. Not impressed. Their prices are pretty cheap, I will say… but you get what you pay for!

If twisty treat had a bizarro world evil doppelgänger its called chillin’ out ice-cream. This place is famous for two things: credit card processing charges that would make a disney atm look like a good deal and half melted ice cream cones served to you barehanded. When ordering don’t get too close to the window. the interior is kept at a frigid 70degrees; the ideal temperature for soft serve ice cream to melt instantly upon leaving the machine. They have a great menu though and by menu i mean a giant political opinion email printed out on 36×48 vinyl where a menu should be. It makes great points like why they shouldn’t have to raise the minimum wage because it discourages their employees from wanting to get better jobs. All in all the place isn’t that bad, its a good reminder why ice cream is a terrible snack and the punishing experience of getting it at chillin out ice cream was a probably a bad idea all the way around.

I pulled in thinking this was a Tastee Treat and was met with the horrible realization that it’s not, but I’m pregnant and wanted ice cream. First they have political signs against minimum wage increases posted in the seating area and then came the shock of getting charged $ 2 to use my debit card. In this day and age that is absolutely unacceptable for any business. They run it like an ATM, so you have a $ 10 minimum; so that ridiculous policy turned a $ 9 family outing into a $ 12 one. The employees were polite if a bit slammed for a Saturday afternoon, but their owner/manager’s call on mixing political rants, a ridiculous credit/debit policy, and mediocre frozen treats at Starbucks prices is just horrible. Next time I’ll jump across the parkway to McDonald’s for just as good ice cream for a fraction of the price and zero political agenda.

Good ice cream. Service is a little slow because they only have one person that works the cashier and puts the orders together. It’s best to pay cash to avoid a card fee(I think it’s $ 2). I consider the prices to be fair. If you’re okay with a small wait, I’d recommend it.

Stopped in here one afternoon with my hubby. We were in the mood for ice cream, and this was the closest to where we were. I am so happy it was the closest, because it was great. There was a large menu as we walked up. At the top of the menu was Butter Pecan Praline Caramel Crunch. I didn’t even look an farther after I saw that. My husband and I both got one, and it was delicious. I’ve had a lot of frozen treats, and that ranks in the top 5 for me. It was a large portion, and the cost was $ 5. I felt the price was reasonable for all of the ice cream and goodies piled on top. The gentleman that took our order, and served us was very kind. They had a sign posted in the window for a free pint of ice cream if you show your conceal and carry permit. I loved that! I like to spend my money supporting a business that supports our individual liberties. They don’t except bills over $ 20, and they do charge a fee to use your debit card. I didn’t mind to pay the fee because I understand how a small business works. I only took off a star because their ice cream was served in a styrofoam bowl, and as much as I dislike plastic containers, I actually dislike styrofoam more. All in all, I would make this my regular ice cream shop if I was a local. As we are only here for a short time, I will frequent it anytime that I’m in the area.

Staff not friendly. The place does not accept credits cards(ATM-available). It looked and smelled dirty inside.

This place is extremely dirty, and they charge you a $ 2 fee to use your debit/credit card. The employee that helped me wouldn’t even give me his bosses number… Avoid at all costs.

The worst ice cream ever! Oh and bring cash they make you use an atm that charges you a fee to pay if you use a debit card. Drive a little longer and go to Abracadabra on Main Street; that place is AMAZING!

Not the best ice cream place in Kissimmee, bur still good. The people who work here sometimes seem tired or like they don’t want to work and the tables outside are never clean and extremely sticky. Price is okay and the ice cream still taste good.

We’ve been here a few times and every time I ask for a receipt because their price changes each time! Today they decided to charge me 50 cents extra for each of my toppings because I asked for them in a separate cup on the side(as I always do)! They charge you to use a credit card and if you use cash as payment, they use a different register! Ice cream is good but their outside area isn’t cleaned as fast as the customer comes. And never enough napkins! I think I’ll have to find a new ice cream favorite. PS my receipt today didn’t have the breakdown of what I ordered so they totally overcharged me and when I questioned it they said because it costs them for the cups!

This place is shaped like a giant ice cream cone who wouldn’t love it here!!! Plenty of delicious soft serve flavors for cones, shakes and sundaes! Lots of toppings and be warned the sizes are big! They have a shaded patio too!

This is still my favorite ice cream shop in Kissimmee, FL! Still has the best butter pecan ice cream you will ever eat! Creamy, salty, sweet, buttery, and nutty. YUM! I’ve had one of their chillers with Vanilla soft serve with reece’s peanut butter cups churned into it. It was really good but a bit overly sweet for my taste but that wasn’t their fault, that was mine for ordering a bad combo. I should’ve stuck with peanuts or reece’s pieces or something tried n true. Or just gotten the best butter pecan ice cream ever! haha I like that there’s outdoor seating too on cozy nights with your date. One thing has changed since my last review. They do not serve lactose free ice cream anymore. Now they only have the sugar free kind. Still two thumbs up!
