What a disappointment! The décor and menu look great but the service is awful and the food is just ok.

Sigh. I really wanted to like this place, and I hate having to give it so few stars. The staff was very nice most of the way through, and despite some of the things I read about the décor, I think it was cool, but the rodizio was quite disappointing. Once the guys carrying around the meat found out my boyfriend spoke Spanish, they were suddenly much more attentive, but by that point, I was just ready to go home. We were passed up a few times, and out of the 5 things we did get in over an hour’s time, one was a tiny piece of bread, one was crispy over done flank steak, one was literally a shaving of the outside of some sirloin and was too salted to enjoy, and another was too overdone to chew. The pork rib was messy to eat, but tasted okay. I really hate having to give a bad review, but it was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. Some of the buffet was okay, but the salad bar was more of a toppings bar the way everything was sliced. The dessert table was a huge disappointment, and reminded me more of bake sale leftovers gone bad. The buffet had different meats cooked in various Latin spices, rice, beans, etc. I would suggest if you go, to only order off the menu or do the buffet… or go across the street to the Chinese buffet, sadly. The manager came and checked on us a couple times, which was nice, but we were not compensated for any of our bad experience. If we had, I would of just paid cash, and saved my Groupon and gave it a second chance at a later date. Sadly, I do not think we will be returning.

Braxican was ok… it was an interesting twist to mix Mexican and Brazilian food, but I thought, «I’m adventurous. let’s try this out!». I wouldn’t say that it was a complete waste, we had the lunch buffet and order a Pichana quesadilla(on special), and it was just meh. Some of the food was overcooked, some was not so delicious, and then there was some really flavorful yummy food. I think the price for the quality of food though was a bit under par, therefore the reason for the 2 stars.

Sitting in the restaurant, which we came to because of the Groupon, and it hasn’t been the best experience. I’m here with my wife and two young children. There’s no children’s menu, no kids cups with lids and the buffet is less than ideal with minimal options for actual salad. There was no one at the«pasta station» so that wasn’t an option. The dessert bar is less than inviting. Paper towels are the napkins. Décor has been stapled to the walls. Half way through this meal, we decided to just spend the full amount of the Groupon so we didn’t lose the value to expiration. With better options, this is a place to pass on.

My god what a dump. Ate there half way through my meal I was throwing up in the bathroom. The buffet nothing was at a correct temp. Hot things weren’t hot and cold things were not cold. Not a single person knew what they were doing including the chef/owner who was bartending instead of in the kitchen. The meats were dry and way over cooked. They pour booze out of 1.75L bottles which should of been the first sign. The place is filthy dirty. Department of health should be ashamed for allowing them to stay open.

So a group of 4 of us came here on a Sunday Afternoon, since we got the Groupon. That was the beginning of our mistake. There was us and probably 3 other groups in the big restaurant. Tacky décor and music that was not Brazilian or Mexican. Plus the music would just stop, and the silence in the restaurant would be awkward. Server explained the menu and got us our drinks and their«special» drink is super good. The lemon drop was good too. 3 of us got the rodizio(all the meats) and one got the chicken volcano stone thing, and all of them included the buffet. The dessert area, had plates of cheap cookies and marshmallows just laying out in a back corner. Not tempting. Plus they use the wrong chocolate for their ghetto looking chocolate fountain, so it’s bubbly, rather than a smooth stream of chocolate. The veggie/salad bar looked like it was struggling just sitting out there. Nothing looked fresh, so I passed on that. Pasta station was unmanned the entire time, so… no pasta for anyone. The volcano chicken thing, is basically an elaborate and large-ish portion of chicken fajitas. No tortillas, but my friend didn’t mind. The flavor was okay… certainly not worth $ 21 mother-friggin dollas. As far as the rodizio, it seems as though the other 3 tables ordered the same. We all were served stale, hard bread on the skewer, over cooked and under seasoned pork, and chicken wings which is already at the hot side of the buffet. The time between that and getting dry pork ribs was 10 minutes. There’s only 4 tables. The timing should not be that long. After that, the server came back as though we were ready for our check. Um… we paid for 8 meats, why did we only get 3, and 1 wasn’t even listed on the menu. I literally had to pull out the menu and tell the server«Now, the lamb. And then the sirloin.» Etc… rather than them just bringing out the components of our meal. Besides the sausage, which they obviously just had to heat up, ALL the meat was overcooked, making them drier than sand and tasteless. I had to asked three times for sirloin, medium, so it wasn’t dry(still came overcooked and dry anyway), and we got a new server. Why are we getting a new server? The new guy had the nerve to tell us our old server can’t speak English and doesn’t understand I want the sirloin… bih, what language have we been speaking then? Big waste of time and money. Don’t come here.

If you’re sitting down at your table, reading these reviews and wondering if you should still give it a try because of those few miscellaneous 5 stars — just don’t. Get up and get yourself a sub par meal down the street at TGI Friday’s instead because I promise you, at least that’s edible. While everyone is correct that the interior is just absolutely ridiculous, I could overlook that if the buffet wasn’t filled with a dirty salad bar, mystery meats and beans in hot containers and a stale pastry tray. Our party barely ate but definitely didn’t find ourselves hungry later on because none of us were exactly feeling up to par after the small amount we did consume. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and nice and is the only reason I feel even slightly guilty for giving this place a 1 star.

Our group of four all agree — the food here was terrible. We had a feeling when we went in and discussed whether we should stay or get up leave… we regret not just bailing. We ordered the buffet, which started with a small, disappointing salad bar. I only ate three bites of my salad because I found a fly in my ranch — so gross! And a couple vegetables from the bar were still frozen. A table of unmarked hot foods then contained basic rice and beans, as well as mystery dishes… some meats were ok, some weren’t. The«not-chicken»(we couldn’t figure out what it was) was good. But largely we had trouble finding something palatable. The small build-a-pasta par was a saving grace… we each ate a plate full of basic marinara or Alfredo pasta to try to fill up. We also ordered a nachos appetizer which was ok, pretty basic. Didn’t have a lot of cheese, needed more. And drinks, which weren’t great, particularly the mojito. We skipped the dessert table and got our checks ASAP to get out of there. Hopefully this will be funny later when everyone recounts me picking one of the worst places we’ve ever eaten at. One positive worth mentioning… Our waitress was wonderful. Very nice and attentive, I wish I could have given her restaurant another star simply for her sake.

Avoid this place like the plague! Waitress copped an attitude when we informed her we didn’t speak Spanish, menu is difficult to understand, lots of misspelled words. Food is cold, dry, fatty, and over salted. Salad bar consists of lettuce, tomatoes and ranch dressing. They didn’t even have salt and pepper shakers available! Full bar is advertised but not available this evening… Maybe they lost their license?

This is probably the worst restaurant I have ever tried. I’m still amazed how this place is still in business. This place is super bad. Buffet is horrible and deserts looked very bad too. Pasta was salty as hell. There was almost nothing available on the menu, they ran out of food. The picahna meat was overcooked. Horrible place!

Wow, reading the reviews you’d think people care more about bathroom decorations than the food or service. Maybe I’m just old fashioned, but i’m judging a place on its people, its food quality, and its price. In some areas I might rate this only three-stars(they hired a lot of younger folks, some struggle with English, other’s are not the seasoned professionals you’d see at a Fogo de Chao), but they get the extra star for being new and enthusiastic. Plus, the prices are awesome for what you’re getting. The restaurant is new, it’s clean and spacious. The parking is ample but it’s in a strip mall, so you may be parking a few stores down rather than directly in front of the restaurant. There’s a really large U-shaped bar area, and TVs all around. The decorations are definitely Carnival-meets-Dia de los Muertos-party, but they’re bright and fun. I’m sure they’re trying out things and will solidify the design elements over time. It’s kitschy and fun. The restaurant was about half full when we went, and more than half of the parties had a kid or two, all who seemed to love it. The hostess was a pleasant young lady and they went out of their way to accommodate us(we had a stroller), offering high chairs, and things for the baby to play with. Our server turned out to be the assistant manager(our baby is adorable, she always gets the best service) and he was very helpful, prompt, and fun. The menu is straight forward, and our server did an excellent job explaining it. You can choose appetizers and entrees(which come with the buffet) or just the buffet. The buffet has several salad, vegetable and fruit options(eg, an apple salad with jalapenos! awesome!) as well as meats. I believe there was chicken, beef, plantains, roasted potatoes with onions, pasta with meat and without. There is also a made-to-order pasta station! Very cool. The entrees are essentially the different cuts of meats, and you can make your entrée«unlimited» for an additional cost($ 5.99 i think). There is also an entrée, rodizio, that includes all the meats(you can make this unlimited too, but honestly it’s about 6 servings of 2−4oz of meat so keep that in mind!). Our party all got the rodizio(for about $ 20 why wouldn’t you?). We thought the sausage was OK but nothing special — good sausage, but not especially seasoned or spicy. The chicken was flame grilled and fantastic! The lamb was moist and a little fatty, but the seasoning was great. The cuts of beef(there were at least two) were also heavily seasoned and marinated, they came out hot, succulent and delicious. The only miss really was the pork, which was on the dry side but otherwise had a good rub and still had a very good flavor even if it was drier than I usually like. There is a full bar, but the drink menu lists several«authentic» cocktails to try. Do! They’re all very light tasting, extremely refreshing. As an awesome finish, you can end your meal with ice cream made-to-order and made at your table! They will make the flavor you like(vanilla or chocolate) with a large sampling of «mixings» like Oreos, chocolates, sprinkles, etc. and then FLASHFREEZE that sucker right at the table with a bucket of liquid nitrogen! I was worried about our waiter only having little gloves on his hands, but he knew what he was doing and the ice cream was awesome! Baby loved watching it be made. We also had the flan, which I think had shredded almonds on top. Really sweet, a great end to a savory meal.

P. My first time eating at Braxican, was nothing but DISAPPOINTING. Their commercial was way more exiting. Iwhen I walk in I was confuse thinking its was sport Authority And seem like trying save money by turning off the Air conditioning .i’s smells like mens locker. Maybe like the movie(. Night At The museum ‚)the mannequin comes to life and plays soccer all night l decided to order food anyway since I was hungry Again disappointed, waited for ever even if the restaurant was empty. My mexi burger not bad but those Dammn fries, … Reminded me of the frozen school reheated like hell fries! And the waiter seemed like out of it. Language barrier left and right. I just decided to pay up and leave, and about some waiters not introducing themselves, THINK! Would You leave a tip to a unfriendly no clue waiter that doesn’t even bather to get your good side for a tip??? Dear owners of this place, GET It RIght and safe your investment on this place

Decided to try something new since we don’t live in Orlando and totally regret it. Food was mediocre. The manager was our waitress and the service was poor. Water was never offered nor given, no steak knives, buffet/salad bar was horrible, pasta was decent but awkward and desert were grocery store bought.

The only thing that was good here was our waitresses customer service. Got the Brazilian meats that they were most famous for and they came to my table cold like they already made them in advanced. They were out of literally all of their beers and only had 2 options and the liquor drinks were watered down. Also the nachos had processed cheese on them with no flavor. I’m glad I had a groupon and only paid 4 dollars total cause it’s not worth going here.

DONOTWASTEYOURTIME!!! As soon as we walked in there were two alien figures colored in bright blue paint. Very creepy looking and plain weird to have at the entrance of a restaurant. All the walls are covered with newspaper and bright color painted hand prints. Inside it was very humid and hot. I asked to sit somewhere cool since we were outside in the heat all day. The hosted sat us in a booth with the sun shinning right in. I asked to close the blinds and that was a hassle for her. The restroom has painted toilet paper rolls glued to the wall and smelt terrible. I was appalled. We took a look at the buffet and everything looks Ed watered down, the retried beans looked old and dried, all cracked on top. The salad bar however did look nice but did not have much to choose from. After seeing all this we stay to eat. The theory is amazing it’s the reason I bought the GROUPON. I did not use the GROUPON we went somewhere else. HOPEFULLYGROUPONWILLREFUNDTHEMONEYWEPAIDFORTHEVOUCHER. The employees follow and stare at you like your an alien the moment you walk in. Be carefully with the great review you see. I thought the place was gonna be amazing due to the awesome reviews. Not the case. My experience with tripadvisor and Unilocal the company will have someone go on create a fake account and give outstanding reviews. …clearly not an outstanding on this resturant. Also checking out the Facebook page it had nonsense photos on there page. I was looking to get more information on this resturant since its brand new and the only thing I could find was the Facebook page with carton pictures all over it. Nothing to do with the resturant besides a few photos of the title.

STRONGLYRECOMMENDTHISLOCATION! Dined in on 9÷27÷15. Based on a review from 9÷2÷15, my first instinct was to check the AC, smell the air to check if it does smell like a «storage locker,» and check the crispness of the chips. It seemed like a legit restaurant to me: AC was working great, wonderful aroma of grilled meat, and crisp seasoned chips on our table. Is the décor eclectic? Absolutely. Are you coming here to judge an interior decorating contest? Then this isn’t your place. If you want great food(and perhaps some judgmental laughs because some of the décor and process is a bit humorous), you’re at the right place. Our waiter wasn’t the most attentive through the evening, but was quite prompt when we waved him over. By the way, he spoke english just fine and the menu isn’t hard to decipher. All the wait staff was very genuine and pleasant. If you happen to run into one who’s english isn’t very good, be friendly, smile, and just enjoy your food. Food: All the entrees come with the salad bar. We didn’t identify this on the menu so it’s perhaps something they just started up. Keep this in mind once you order. According to the menu, each entrée comes with the«carnival smashed potatoes» and rice. The potatoes and rice are at the salad bar so don’t wait for them to bring it to you. In fact, go help yourself to the white rice, mexican rice with bacon!, yucca, chicken thighs, and ground beef(for lack of my Mexican food knowledge) with plantains. While the salad bar isn’t huge, your choices are excellent and the taste was great. Two of us ordered the Rodizio. They’re going to bring I believe six different meats in about 3oz portions. NOTE: They will not bring these all at once! They’ll bring the spit out, cut a portion, and depart. About 5 – 10 minutes later, they’ll repeat the process with another type. This really is a great place if you have a party and you’re looking to make the meal an activity/event. If you’re in a hurry, this is not your place. Accompany the meats with your salad bar and I guarantee you’ll be pleased. The kids loved the ice cream. It’s quite a novel idea of making it at your table and the kids can choose whatever additions they want… which meant for us that they had equal parts additions to ice cream :) Chunks of white cookie, reeses, peanut butter chunks, sprinkles, other candies; you name it, they probably have it to add in. For those visiting the area, grab the Groupon and enjoy your experience here. Don’t come in a rush to get back to Disney; come to have time with friends and family over a meal. STRONGLYRECOMMENDTHISLOCATION!

A combination Brazilian and Mexican Restaurant in that foodie hotbed of Kissimmee, FL. I always get excited when I find a very good, non-chain restaurant in largely tourist areas and Braxican does the trick. A very solid menu where you have the opportunity to chose from Brazilian and Mexican dishes. Great for larger groups and kids too. They also have some very cool cocktails and a very bad nice selection of tequila too. Braxican is a new addition to this area. Take a step, away from the chains and give them a chance. I don’t think you will be disappointed…

I really really wanted to like this place. In theory it sounds amazing, Brazilian steak house meets Mexican cantina? Drove to Kissimmee to give this place a try since I found a groupon $ 60 for $ 32 thought it was a deal. While I understand this place just opened, they really need to get their concept together. The staff doesn’t even understand how it works. There is all you can eat steak, one of each of the 5 meats or one order of one meat. Problem is the meat comes around on a pick and the staff has no idea which combo each person got. Also everything comes with 2 sides and a possible add on for salad bar. We got 2 steak meals to start and a guacamole. First the guacamole comes with plantains, not mixed in as a fusion literally on a separate plate, still wondering why it’s paired together. Nothing came together no chips with guac, had to ask twice for hips, then yuca came, then one steak, then drinks and 30 mins later the second steak then the second side. Servers only had a couple tables and were so overwhelmed. One side never came and we just gave up. Our server said someone took our food and that happens sometimes… Ok. The food was very salty, the food would have been so great with less salt. We asked for guac not spicy at all and we had jalapeños mixed in. I hope they can get organized and get staffed better if they want to survive a major rush and a tourist crowd in season and the competition of Texas de Brazil and other steak houses nearby.

Walking in you are greeted by a mannequin I have named Rapeface McGee. As we waited to be seated, it became apparent that their air conditioning does not work. I fear this place may be giving me the sweats twice. I understand that this is trying to be authentic, but the girl who doesn’t speak English is not the best choice for your hostess. After some frantic gesturing we were seated. The décor in this place can best be described as gross. Rather than paint, they plastered newspapers all over the wall. Newspapers don’t smell fresh. The place smells like a storage locker. Their salsa was a pleasant surprise. It had a great flavor and a good amount of heat. The stale chips lessened the experience. My buddy ordered an unsweet tea and asked for artificial sweetener. Are you so hard up that you can only bring a single sweet and low? The prices are normal for the area. The Burrito… As you can tell I’m not sugar coating this review. The burrito was the low side of edible. Greasy, almost all veggie and very little meat. The steak that was in it was chubby and rubbery. The rest of my party got a burger and the tortilla soup. They complained as much as I did but soldiered on admirably. Lastly, while our waitress was friendly and did an ok job, the rest of the restaurant was just screwing around. Instead of playing soccer in the aisles, maybe your people should be changing the chips. Making sure the silverware is clean.
