Horrible customer service.
Tracking number shows my package is delivered. Instead of the package, there was a pink paper with yesterday’s date and my unit number in my mail box. Since deliver man chose not to write any comment or nothing, I have NO idea where my package is.
I called them and asked them where is my package and if they will re-​deliver my package. First his response was «I DON’T KNOW.» HUH?
His attitude was so horrible and very rude. And he lied to me that the package will deliver by 5pm today. I couldn’t trust him so I went to the post office.
According to Hector, the deliver man is out of the day so I was told to call the number which he provided me tomorrow morning. Nobody apologized to me regarding to this inconvenient situation. I can’t believe I’ve been dealing with this usps location for three years.
I hope they didn’t lose my package again.

Supervisor hasn’t called me even he told me that he will let me know about my package. I called him AGAiN and he argued with me that my package has arrived on Monday. HUH? What are you talking about?
He keeps lying to me that he will call me, your package will be deliver today, tomorrow, soon, or blah blah blah blah.
I had to raise my voice on the phone… guess what?
HE HANG UP ON ME!!! UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

This post office is my least favorite place on Earth. Okay, that might be overly dramatic, but seriously — can we at least get some music or something? And If you can’t afford to hire more than two people despite their being equipment enough for 5 — then at least turn the place into what it is, a waiting room. Hand out some numbers, and some chairs. It’s agony standing in a line of 10 for 45 minutes on a Tuesday at 2 (when I made the mistake of assuming it might be less busy) with some guy loudly talking on his phone behind me. All I want to do is pick up my mail people. It’s not my fault my apartment installed a mailbox suited for a squirrel so I’m pinged with a ‘mailbox’ full card every time I turn around. In my several dreaded visits to this place, the same 4 people have worked their over the course of 5 years, and I don’t know that they’re familiar with friendliness. They literally give zero F’s — and I get it — people are shitty and you have your game face on to prepare for it. But it is a serious killjoy and an epic stressor on my day walking into this place. Their is plenty of room for improvement, almost too much, so for goodness sake PLEASE, do something to make getting/​sending mail bearable.

Like many of the other posters, there was 18 people in line and one worker. It’s not like it moves fast-​most people have lots of packages that need weighing, forms needing to be filled out, stamps purchased, etc.
Shows governmental incompetence at it’s best. I waited for 30 minutes before someone from the back came up to help.

Package delivery attempt said package would be available for pickup at post office at 8:00 AM, Unilocal said post office would be open at 8:00 AM, here at 8:00 AM, not open yet. Well played post office, got me again! This is a fun game…

If you show up a single minute after two PM expect to wait in a long line. The staff is friendly enough, the store is relatively clean and the parking is ample but when it comes to the post office you want to be in and out quickly and that simply never happens here.
Literally nine people in this line and only one person working.

Overall friendly staff and fast service compared to most us post offices. They are a little short staffed with a wait at times, but still try to accommodate you as best as they can. If you want to avoid the line they have a kiosk where you can print most shipping labels and stamps at your own convenience!

I’ve been to this post office dozens of times when shipping things off. The clerks are friendly, don’t get irritated by me bringing in a shipload of packages to send, and joke around with me.
There’s plenty of room inside to use the self-​service machines when the office is closed.
The parking lot is gigantic.

I avoid this post office for many of the USPS’s services simply because its too small for how busy it can get with lines extending out to the lobby area if there is a long wait. Additionally they are always poorly stocked. I’ve driven over here 4 times in the past year looking for USPS’s flat rate boxes and envelopes but they are always empty of anything except for usually the largest flat rate box. Its so hard to ask them if they have any in the back because of the aforementioned long wait time.
I have given up trying to come here for anything except mailing post because its on the way to work, but if I’m in search of a flat rate envelope or box, I’ll head to the Redmond USPS office, even though its a little further away from me.

I have never had a good experience here. They have nonexistent return policies, and at best mediocre customer service. One worker demanded to take her ten despite a steadily growing, all ready long line. This worker was even rude to her other coworkers. I wish I had something positive to say other than they keep well stocked.

Lines are long, it seems they always let most clerks go during the lunch hours when people are most likely to come into the post office. The clerks are personable. I used to into the post office a lot when mailing flyers for the office. This time, they mistakenly put a batch of my flyers in the office supplies and they were not delivered. Costing me a great deal for my marketing plan. The printer had to do them all over and send them out again. Now I am asking for reimbursement for losing them. If there was a private post office I would most certainly use them.

Have never had an issue with this office. The lobby is open 24 hours a day with the ATM style
Machine. Store is safe clean and when you do go to the line are quick personable and efficient.

I can’t stand if I have to go here. The line is always so long and I try to call and its ALWAYS busy. The people that work there are so rude. I prefer going to the ups store in kirkland I can do everything there that I need from the post office except unfortunately pick up a package

Every time I come here, I feel like I am on an episode of MVT’s The Boiling Point. Really long lines regardless of the time of day or year. The staff is friendly, but not the brightest … a lot of these problems could be solved with better management and planning.

I had a surprisingly swift and smooth experience at this post office recently! (Surprisingly because, hey, it’s still a US Post Office and the experience at ANY post office is rarely swift and smooth, let’s be honest). First and foremost, I think the key to my pleasant experience today was the fact that I came here at a very off time: I arrived at about 9:30 am on a week day. There was one other person in the place. No line at all. It was great. (I consider going to the Post Office as I do going to Costco: it’s best to go when you think no one else is there, or when the place opens. Avoid it at all other times if possible, or give yourself ample time for crowded parking lots, crowded stores, long lines and frazzled nerves).
Next, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the lady behind the counter was. I wasn’t sure which option to get for an important document I had to mail out (certified? Registered? Other?), and she took the time to explain 3 or 4 options with me, their specific advantages, and the prices for each. I really appreciated her patience and time to do this. As I was leaving, about 4 or 5 people were in line behind me. I noticed 2 counters open and it appeared like another counter might also open. I thought that was appropriate and it seemed efficient.
One customer as I was going was laughing with two people behind the counter who knew his name. He was obviously a regular there, and I liked how the postal staff knew him and liked him, and it seemed genuine and reciprocal. It made me think that this is how post offices (and all service offices, actually) USED to be, where people knew each other by name and it was more of a personal experience to do business at these places.
Anyhow, I was a little surprised by all the super-​negative reviews of this post office, but then I looked at how many reviews and friends the reviewers all had and I could put it into better perspective. It’s not fair to blame this P.O. for all the woes of the whole USPS, which everyone knows is in the red and employees are overtaxed and sites are often understaffed. And if you visit at a peak time, just like Costco, you’re just asking for a bad experience. But if you plan accordingly and actually have a positive attitude going in, I’d be surprised if you don’t have a positive experience here (or anywhere else).

Did anyone REALLY expect for the Post Office to have 5 Stars? Let’s be real: They’re fine. As long as you give yourself plenty of time during the holidays, and know exactly what you’re doing before you go in, you won’t leave steaming mad.

If I could give them 0 stars I would! I’ve been trying to call them for 30 minutes now and it just rings and rings and no one answers, no recording and then I get hung up on.
We had a package that was suppose to be delivered two weeks ago — the sender accidentally forgot to put the apartment number on the package; however the post man NEVER brings packages to our actual apartment. They just leave them at the main office. Well the mail man must have rolled out of bed on the wrong side this day because he just decided since it didn’t have an apartment number that ehh. we are just going to immediately return it to the sender. So away it went when we desperately needed it for a birthday party that weekend.
I called the post office to try to intercept and the first person I spoke to did NOTHING to help me when the package was probably sitting in the office.
Thankfully the second person Roseline attempted to help me but it was too late.
I have to say I’m thankful that since then we have moved and will no longer need to deal with this post office after we get this last package. which seems like it will never happen.

I went in to sort out the bungled mail «On Hold» problem this morning. It took me 15 minutes in line to be able to talk to someone to request a supervisor to talk to. It took at least another 10 minutes for a supervisor to show up. It took another 10 minutes for her to round up my missing mail. She explained that the problem was that my regular mail carrier was on vacation, so the mail wasn’t actually being held. Apparently, I need to coordinate my vacations with my mail carrier’s vacations so we don’t overlap.
It looks like none of my «regular» mail was held.
It looks like my «oversize» mail (parcels, magazines) were being held.
= Two parcels that had tracking numbers and showed as being «Out for delivery» since October 22^nd had never actually left the Post Office. They were there on November 3^rd.

USPS is almost an advertisement for UPS and FedEx. Ironically, we got an email advising us that the hold on our mail was about to expire. Meanwhile the Post Office:
FAILED to hold most of our mail.
FAILED to deliver the few pieces of mail that were held, when the hold expired
FAILED to provide correct status for tracked items.
FAILED provide a reasonable customer experience at their location.
One guy goes on vacation and the whole place crumbles.

I went to this location before they opened at 10 a.m. on Saturday and there were about four people already standing in line. They opened the door at 10:01 a.m. My wait wasn’t too long but the line grew rapidly with about 25 people behind me.
There were only two counters open which is baffling but they worked quickly.
It’s challenging to ascertain when non-​peak hours are for counter service. For example, I have been here on a Friday at about 12:20 p.m. and the line was very short.
They do have a self-​service machine in the lobby for simple transactions and stamp purchases which helps.
They also have a sign on the counter inside that says «Pre-​Paid Packages Here.» The one at Mill Creek did not have this so some people stand in line just to drop off pre-​paid packages which makes it worse for everyone else standing behind them. Kirkland Post Office does it right for this one. Thus the additional star.

I understand that USPS isn’t doing well financially but why are the lines ALWAYS ridiculously long? Regardless of what day I come in, it’s never NOT busy.
Saturdays are probably the worst day to come in and this past Saturday was no exception. About 30 minutes waiting in line with about 5 people ahead of us… and 2 people working. I wish there was more staff… and people seriously need to start packaging their goods before they get up to the front.
The woman was friendly once we got to the counter — and we were in and out. If you’re mailing a package and need a box, they’re generally free but remember to bring tape and bubble wrap with you. They charge for everything now.
I’d recommend buying labels online if you can and dropping it in the drop box to avoid the lines.
