Buyer beware! If you have any special order items, make sure you get each item listed in detail. DONOT, I repeat DONOT, trust him when the owner tells you that he’ll «take care of it.» The owner forgot/neglected to include an extra cushion that was part of the original order. I contacted Totem Lake Furniture 3 times to try to get the order rectified. I spoke with the owner directly, and he promised that he would«make it right,» and call me when it [cushion] was in. Unfortunately it’s been over three months and I’m still waiting for my missing cushion. . Truly exhausting and disappointing, because I thought he was very personable, and I think it’s important to support local businesses. Unfortunately, Totem Lake Furniture has lost all of my future business and my referrals. They simply don’t have the integrity or satisfactory follow through in correcting errors they’ve made.

I truly love places like this where they have a big space that doesn’t seem like a commercial store. It’s like the«cheap brand grocery stores.» The man who I’m assuming owned the place was very sweet and funny. When my dad and I told him that I wanted a really soft mattress he took us to a bed that had an AMAZING mattress which is super squishy at a great price. As we were buying the mattress/box spring set, the owner decided to knock off the sales tax as a sale! We have over $ 100 here rather than going to Sleep Country, Sears, Macy’s etc. The selection isn’t amazing, but it’s very nice. If ever I need a new mattress or recliner, I’m coming here!

Yeah, it’s OK. The selection is kind of hit or miss(unless you want to wait — see the other review) and they apparently don’t haggle. We were pretty pleased with our couch and the price was OK. Honestly we didn’t have a lot of time to shop around and wanted something a little better than cheap Ikea furniture. I have some beef with the delivery company they use — Streamline. Granted, this is a different company, but the Totem Lake employees referred to it as white glove. More like dirty hand. I’d recommend moving the furniture yourself or hiring another company for probably less money.

08−16−10 Still no hardware. Owner told us it was«in the mail». a week later, no parts — he admitted that he has had some«issues» and he will mail soon. 5 days and counting… pretty frustrating to have 2 unbuilt stools in my kitchen for 3 weeks. 8−18−10. Finally! we have hardware. what an ordeal. Didn’t think making a small purchase such as a table would take such effort to complete.
