YES!!! With jewelry (especially the expensive kind) you just never know who to trust. Saleena is a true professional with awesome attention to detail, huge breadth of knowledge, and a passion for her craft. She’s very transparent and is willing to go through all the details of what she’s doing if you would like her to. She definitely does her best to put you at ease and answer any questions you might have. I was looking for someone to appraise my ring after getting engaged so we could obtain insurance on it. I looked and called around many places and S.A.Z. is the best place to go. The owner Saleena is a one woman show, she does it all. I only needed my ring appraised this time but after meeting her and how nice and professional she was I will use her for any jewelry needs I have for the rest of my life.

I was a little concerned about the quality of a diamond I bought from a different jeweler, so I went to see Saleena for a second opinion after seeing all the wonderful reviews! And I can see why! She took a close look at my diamond — confirming the quality, and cleaned it without any charge! (please don’t expect her to clean for free after reading this review though haha) It’s obvious when you meet her that she’s very honest, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. She takes the extra time and care even while providing a simple service. If I need any cleaning, appraisals, and/​or to buy/​set jewelry, I’ll definitely go back to her! I’m so happy I have a jeweler I can trust in the Seattle area now! She also has the cutest dog! (just in case that might be important to anyone)

I loved working with Saleena. Really positive energy, no ego, and very communicative throughout the process. I inherited a jewelry box and wasn’t sure what I had. Saleena went through all of the items with me, carefully explaining the value and materials. During the conversation I mentioned I had some diamond rings that didn’t fit and I didn’t like the setting on. She made the suggestion of putting them into a different setting. Holy cow… I’m so happy with the results! We designed 2 different necklaces; one is an «every day» one and the other a «dress up» one. Her artistry was amazing and the quality will last for generations!

Saleena is AMAZING! Not only is she the consummate professional, she’s a force to be reckoned with… very personable. Watching her in action yesterday was cool, especially with all the equipment she used to appraise my rings. I wasn’t sure what value they would be appraised at… to my surprise, quite a bit more! I’m recommending her to everyone I know who will need not only an appraiser but she’s also a jewelry guru (designs them, repairs, etc).

Saleena is AMAZING. She is professional, honest, creative and has an amazing eye for jewelry. Most recently, she restored my grandmothers ring so I can wear it everyday vs. keeping it in a box — and each time I see it on my hand it makes me smile :) Honestly, I wouldn’t have trusted anyone but her with it. I also went to her in search of a special locket after my daughter was born, and she walked me through the process of choosing style that would fit my life, as well as engraving and chain length. SAZ took family treasured jewelry, restrung it and now I wear it all the time. What a treat. Their service is great and prices are affordable. I had been meaning to get my wedding ring appraised since I got married in 2006! Ridiculous I know but the issue was scheduling the time. With Saleena and SAZ appraisals, she can come to you! So convenient and easy. You get the most detailed report ever on your jewels and Saleena is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. I now have the piece of mind that if something happened to my precious ring, I’m covered. She can even fix any of your broken jewelry or better yet, make you a custom designed piece. She has a great eye for detail. Can’t recommend her enough.

I had a couple of pieces of jewelry that I have been wanting to get appraised for years (including my wedding rings) and I made an appointment with Saleena at SAZ Gem and Jewelry and was very impressed. She was professional but at the same time welcoming and personable — my pieces of jewelry were appraised, cleaned and the paperwork was sent to me the same week. I was impressed with her knowledge and would recommend her to anyone!

We have used Saleena twice for jewelry appraisal and are very happy with her service. I found it to be extra convenient that she has a mobile service and did all of her work at our home both times instead of us driving somewhere. Saleena helped appraise a number of pieces as well as fix a couple of settings that if gone unchecked would’ve likely resulted in the loss of a diamond. You can tell she’s been in the industry a long time and knows her stuff and yet she was great at explaining the process and making us feel comfortable. I highly recommend SAZ!

Love Saleena at SAZ, she was able to repair a national championship ring for me that was extremely scratched up and had some other damage to it. I had it back within a week and it looked like the day I received it. There isn’t another place I would go to get my jewelry taken care of
