I have been going to this center for a few months now and really love it. They are always on time too. I am always looking forward to my visits. The office is clean and tidy. The front staff are polite and very easy to schedule appointments with. I have mainly been working with Val he is very good at massage and is very friendly. The hour goes by so fast. He has helped with my pregnancy related sciatica, back pain and carpal tunnel. I will 100% be continuing treatment at Monreo Therapeutic Massage in Kirkland! Ive seen some pretty negative stuff about this massage place and feel that they are not true. Massage therapy is very person specific not everyone massages the same. My recommendation is to try a couple therapist before you jump to the conclusion that a massage center is «bad»

Mine was the last appointment of the day. Massage was OK, nothing out of this world or extra ordinary for the price they charged. Very expensive for an hour massage(actually 50 minutes) because 10 minutes goes for changing new bed sheets !!! My chiropractor referred me to this place and I should have done more research and looked at Unilocal reviews before I visited. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone nor go myself again. Make no mistake twice !!

If I could give them zero or negative stars, I would. I tried two different massage therapists here, in the hopes that the first horrible massage was just a fluke. The 2nd person was even worse than the first. For starters, I’ve been to myriad trained massage therapists in my life, some were amazing, some were just average. But none of them were as bad as the two guys at Monroe. Both of them used improper technique which aggravated tissues and made me come away feeling worse than when I came in. I’ve been to unlicensed massage parlors that have people with more skill and care than this place. Next, both massage«therapists» short-changed me on the massage time(they both quit a full 15 minutes before my time was up — with a 1 hour massage, that is a huge chunk of time to cheat people out of). However, considering the above paragraph re their lack of skill, I wasn’t too upset to be getting the hell out of there early. Lastly, I just received their bill, which prompted me to write this post. $ 162.08 per session AFTER insurance adjusted the cost. I’m honestly not sure which is worse: paying $ 324 to these hacks, or having debt collectors after me for the next 10 years. We’ll see.

My doctor referred to them so i had high expectations. I showed up 5 minutes late but called 15 minutes beforehand to let them know i am stuck in traffic. They made me go thru tons of paperwork and by the time i am in the room 30 minutes already passed by. My masseuse almost immediately told me that this will be very short because i was late. No one went over this with me i would have hurried or done paperwork at the end. She only provided 15 minute of neck massage and then told me i am out of time. By the time i sat in my car i realized it barely hit an hour mark. Basically she made sure i leave office with some extra time for her to prep for the next visitor. Anyways, I got billed $ 162 to my insurance for $ 15 minute neck massage. P. S place is moderately outdated too. Avoid this place.

This place is great. I am currently getting treatment for a back injury from a car accident and I always leave feeling much more relaxed and in less pain.

My wife and I have been going to this massage business for a few months. Until last year, they sent the claims to the Insurance Company. Insurance companies typically make payments based on the skill-level required to perform the work. They had reduced by about 45% from the original charges since the value of service provided justified only the charges commensurate with the skill-level of the service. The customers then had to pay only the balance from the reduced charges after the insurance payment. But starting in 2012, they have begun charging the customers the balance remaining from the orginal charges after the insurance has paid which is quite a hefty amount. The value of the service does not merit that level of charge. This was not alerted to me by anyone. There are a lot of massage businesses around which are as good or better and only good customer service should let them thrive.
