Staff: Great with communications. Cut out the excess and got straight to the point. There were a few bumps along the way but they were always quick and courteous.
Service: Mark and the team did a fantastic job of fixing up my poor car from two separate accidents! I can’t stop admiring how great it looks. Also, kudos for giving me a small bottle of touch up paint instead of a branded pen or stress ball or something useless!
Timeliness: It took about a month for them to turn over my car due to a few hiccups with insurance. Would’ve liked it to be a quicker turn over but I’m not complaining.

Selected McLeod due to its Unilocal reviews and was not disappointed. This is my first and (hopefully last) repair on my car but I was impressed by their professionalism and commitment to get my car fixed before the Thanksgiving break.

This review is long overdue but necessary as McLeod Auto Body is absolutely incredible. The first time I used them was after I was hit by another driver and needed the front bumper of my Chevy Equinox completely replaced. After getting an estimate from another auto body shop, I decided to go with McLeod because of how easy they made this process and how quickly they were able to get my car repaired. They are the only place that I know of that gives you a pamphlet that explains your rights when dealing with someone else’s insurance company. They immediately told me that it was their job to deal with the insurance company and that they would go to bat for me. And they did just that!
They made this entire process as painless as possible and did all of the legwork for me; they even handled setting me up with a rental car. My car came back to me good as new and within the time frame that they first quoted. My car also needed an oil change and they went out of their way to take it to Eastside Automotive to get that taken care of free of charge.
The girls at the front desk could not be any nicer or more helpful. Katie and Kelsey are absolutely amazing, answered all of my questions, and assisted me in helping with my claim. Kelsey is unbelievably knowledgeable when it comes to knowing your rights and really went above and beyond for me.
If you are unsure of who to go to, want someone on your side when dealing with an insurance company, AND want great work done, let me save you some time and encourage you to use McLeod Auto Body.

I had some minor damage to my Sequoia and McLeod gave us a quote without an appointment (other shops wouldn’t even quote the job), scheduled repairs within a week and the final price came in under the estimate. This was a very small job but the professionalism and work will definitely earn any future business I have.

Mcleod did an excellent job. I wish I could give them a ten star rating! My minivan had been hit and the other driver’s insurance refused to fix the car and instead wanted to total it. Mark talked to the insurance company twice to no avail. He then put together an estimate using used parts and not performing some of the cosmetic work, so that I could get the van fixed without a lot out of pocket. The van ended up looking great. I picked it up and the final cost was less than his estimate and he had even taken care of the cosmetic items. I was so happy! McLeod’s did really good work and were so helpful. If you need auto body work done, go to McLeods!

My new Volvo XC60 was struck in a parking lot. The right rear body panel was dented, the bumper destroyed, and the lighting assembly was smashed. My car has a gloss black metallic paint which is very difficult to match perfectly. I chose McLeod based on other reviews and a personal tour of the shop. The shop is very clean and organized. I am very happy with the quality of the finished product. The paint is a perfect match to include the metal flake component and application. My car very was clean when I picked it up. I could not find any sign of less than perfect craftsmanship. They used OEM parts from a local dealer. I plan to bring my other car in for some ‘refresh’ work in the spring.

Nice people, and did an okay job.

I read these guys do a lot of Hondas, and had good Unilocal reviews, so I went with them after I was rear-​ended.
Following repairs, the paint looked good, and it was nice of them to vacuum my car prior to delivery. But bumper fit wasn’t perfect, or as good as I had hoped. The lines where the bumper meets with the rear quarter panel and tail-​light wasn’t spot-​on. I was a little disappointed.
No idea if it could be tweaked or shimmed up to fit better. I’m not a body-​guy. But it’s not as good as it was prior to getting hit.
I did mention this to a person who called me later, and he offered to have me bring the car back to see what they could do to correct that. And while appreciate it, the drive to Kirkland, more time without my car, for a minor fitment issue… I just swallowed the disappointment, and let it go.
So would I go back to them? First-​pass quality is iffy. But they’re good people. But Kirkland is far from me. So I don’t know. I’d probably look for a more nearby shop first. If they were local to me, maybe.

The manager was apologetic for the lack of glass cleanup in our first car, and offered to make it right, and I do appreciate the gesture.
Our other car also got some body work done at McLeod’s, and they were great in working with my insurance company to ensure that the job was done correctly; at first my insurance did not want to pay for a new bumper, but McLeod insisted on it. They fixed all the damage, cleaned it inside and out, and even touched up some nicks and scratches on the hood. Since I didn’t want to get a new lamp for a crack on my tail light, they put a special tape to keep it from getting worse. I think they even touched up my license plate holder! The car looks as good as it did when I first got it.
All in all, I am pleased with the quality of work they do and their efforts to satisfy their customers.

I absolutely love them! I would give them ten stars if I could.
My car was in the shop well over a month after an accident. All of the delay was due to the other insurance company (Allstate) taking their sweet time. McLeod kept us informed throughout the whole process. When Allstate wanted knock-​off parts used, McLeod fought for original manufacturer parts. The repair work was done beautifully, and all the people there were so friendly.
I could not give them a higher recommendation. They help to minimize the pain of a traumatic experience.

We had a few scrapes and scratches on our bumpers (yes both) that were our fault and we simply wanted to get cleaned up so they weren’t so noticeable. McLeod was very understanding of our wish to simply cleanup what was there and not pay for a full restoration. They did both areas for under $ 100 and now you’d never notice the original damage unless you stopped and really looked. Great service all around.

Our neighbor hit our parked car a few weeks before my wife was due to have surgery. We went to McLeod for an estimate, called the insurance folks and everything was set up within a few days. We brought the car in about a week later, but our part still hadn’t arrived. We were on a really tight deadline and the folks at McLeod made it happen! We ended up getting our car back a day quicker than promised! Hopefully we won’t ever need auto body work again, but if we do we’ll definitely go back to McLeod!

Great experience. Fast repairs for all I needed done and they worked with my insurance so I didn’t have to talk to my insurance about all the extra stuff the original quote from their adjustor didn’t have on it. Also, all factory parts!

McLeods is top notch. Will recommend all my friends and family to them. I work for a personal injury attorney in Kirkland and we refer all our clients to McLeods. But I recently had the chance to experience their services first hand when I took in my car after someone crashed into my parked car. They not only did a perfect job on my car but they maintained great communication the entire time my car was being worked on, organized the rental car so it was hassle-​free, washed and vacuumed my car, and gave me a bottle of touch up paint in a cute little «thank you» bag. No, McLeods, thank YOU.

Mark did my initial estimate and was very helpful in explaining all the work that was going to be done and the process they would use to make sure it looked good as new. They helped me coordinate a rental car, kept me updated on the progress and were done ahead of schedule. They did an absolutely amazing job with the color matching. The car looks the exact same as when I drove it off the lot the day I bought it.
I hope I am not in need of their services any time soon, but they have my business should any more unfortunate incidents occur.

Everybody here was really kind to me… treated me with compassion given the fact that I was upset by my car being destroyed! We needed some affordable (no insurance claim) bodywork to correct some damage to the front end of our Jetta and were super pleased and impressed with every aspect of our dealings with McLeod Auto Body. The quote was beyond fair and we appreciated the sound advice to replace entire panels, in our case the hood, right bumper, and right headlight, rather than try to repair existing pieces. They were very patient with us and our questions about inspecting the integrity of the salvage yard pieces and explained the process of how they are graded and that we could inspect them first and reject them if we wanted to hold out for other pieces.
So fast forward to having the work completed and picking up the car after just one day in their shop. Wow! They polished and waxed the entire vehicle, vacuumed the interior, cleaned the wheels (which were filthy) all above and beyond and they came under their estimate! Oh and they polished our other headlight such that at first we thought they replaced both of them because they now look like new! We could not have been more pleased with their work and extra effort to care for the entirety of our vehicle. They obviously take pride in their business and know the value of earning the respect and trust of their customers. It was great to have our Jetta back and now have a body shop for all time (although sorry for them, we are hoping to not need their services)!

Once again, another great experience at McLeod’s Auto Body. Mark C. was really helpful, immediately addressing my concerns regarding a bent rear fender and a ding in my windshield. Mark contacted the window people and made sure they were there while servicing my car for the fender issue. They took care of this in less than a day!
I will never go anywhere else for auto body work. These guys/​gals are truly professionals and care about their customers. First class all the way… I just wish you had some coffee in the front office. :)

I can not say enough great things about McLeod Auto Body in Kirkland. I have taken two cars to this location, one insurance claim and one personal, and both times, the staff and repairs have exceeded expectations. Recently, I went to McLeod for repairs of a minor/​moderate dent on my car door. I went to two other body shops who both claimed the entire door would need replaced, with prices ranging from $ 700 to $ 1,000. These other two shops both assured me there is no way a moderate fix could be done to make it even just look better. A paint less dent repair wizard claimed he could make it look better for $ 100, but that it would only be 90% better and no promises.
I went to McLeod after my first great experience and also being they are located walking distance from my apartment. The staff again excelled at all they do! The total repair for my car was under $ 90.00. They were able to remove the door and «push» the door back into place from the outside. They then also went above and beyond and cleaned up minor paint scarps from the door (which the $ 700+ companies both very clearly stated they would not do) and made the door look almost brand new. Granted, the bottom has some signs of damage but you have to be looking for it and looking hard. I was told up front it would only look better and explained why (completely understandable), but the end results were way beyond my expectations and I am 100% happy with the work.
I can assure anyone reading this in need of auto body work, McLeod Auto Body will treat you right and charge you a very fair price. Thank you McLeod for doing what is right and being a business I know I can trust and recommend to others.
