Line-X of Kirkland

Dealership took my vehicle here after I had such bad luck with the installation of another item with another company. I WAS SO GLAD THEY WENT HERE, my tint turned out WONDERFUL!!! Very satisfied with the end result.

INCREDIBLE!!! Not only does line-​x do all my bed liners for trucks that we have for sale (we own a dealership) but they are THE BEST in the industry for tinting and 3M as well. We have had all our personal cars here at the lot as well as many of our client’s cars tinted with Line-​X and the final product is perfect. Never have we had any issues with any tint or bed liner project and they treat us great! The staff are all super friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help out. I trust all my cars from new to used to Line-​x.

Great service! There are no other bed liners that come close! They are super fast and can get any job done on short notice. I’ve not only had work done there myself but have brought in referrals to them. I live in Marysville but its worth the drive for their service!

Your car, especially if buying a new/​newer vehicle, is one of the biggest purchases you’ll make besides your home. Personally I find that it’s worth every penny to protect that asset by investing in the right car accessories. Not too long ago, I shopped around town for a «clear bra», this product shields the paint and is designed to protect against common problems that plague car owners.
Car paint, especially on the front areas like the bumper and hood, is prone to damage. Road debris, even at high car speeds of 50 miles an hour, is no match for the car bra. The 3M bra* will deflect and take the brunt of the hit and keep the paint from damage. A great example of this: on a trip to Canada, I drove through an unpaved road that caused gravel to fling up a barrage of rubble against my bumper area like you wouldn’t believe. When I returned back home, the bra looked like a war zone and I thought repainting might be needed. After washing the car and taking it over to the shop I originally installed the bra, it appears that there was NO DAMAGE to the paint! They simply peeled off that area of the bra and reapplied a new layer; it looked just like new! This instance alone more than paid for my initial investment. When it came time to sell the car, the car retained its resale value due to its pristine condition.
Anyways, back to Line-​X. They quoted me the best price to do both the 3M clear bra and tinting. Overall, it took approximately half the day to complete the job and they provided courtesy shuttle service to a nearby coffee shop. I came back a time or two for them for follow-​up work to remove a few bubbles from the tint and clean up a few edges from the bra but since then, the work has held up and I am satisfied with their work.

*3M Ventureshield is only one type of clear bra. There are other brands like Husky, Laminex and 3M Scotchguard, etc.

I heard of Line-​X through word of mouth and a little online research; I was without a doubt impressed with the durability, professional and clean look of the bed liner,
HOWEVER…
Keep in mind the following experience was due to them moving store locations and complications involving that:
The original time estimate I received was 2 – 3 hours, I ended up dropping my truck off at 10am and not having it ready to be picked up until 4pm. I got home with my truck and realized they put an annoying bright yellow «warranty tag» which they debated over the phone that it was put there in case I lost my warranty paper and needed to put the Line-​X lifetime warranty into effect. I believe this to be just a fancy corporate idea to throw their bright, annoying advertisement on every truck bed that leaves their garage — it is an eyesore plain and simple. I know they have my VIN number, name and information in their system and they could look that up if it came down to it in the future. There was a story told from the manager about a truck that received a free bed line due to there not being a yellow line-​x warranty tag– I still did not appreciate it, even after hearing their horror story.
I ended up removing the yellow warranty tag and there was a golf ball sized glob of tan adhesive that could not be removed from the liner and still have it look professional. I called them and after about 3 or 4 times of being told by the man on the phone that I was the first guy to complain about the Line-​X tag in over 5,000 bed liners he has installed… oh yeah? Enlighten yourself with an internet search, other guys aren’t pleased about it either.
Jeremy was the one who told me to come in to the shop at 10am on Wednesday and they would fix it. I show up at 10am sharp and no employees at the front desk know of any repairs that are supposed to take place that day, one tries to tell me to come back Friday but I insist that traffic is more than miserable having to commute from Shoreline. They ended up fixing it in a little over an hour and I was on my way. I WILL ADD: the reason Jeremy was late is because he was running behind schedule from the other store location they were moving from.
My rating of ³⁄₅ stars is fair given my customer service experience, even considering their store re-​location, however I might add that the line-​x product itself is a perfect ⁵⁄₅ stars.
