Heads N Tails

I had an appointment at 8:30 am and waited for 35 minutes in front of the door as they were closed. I left at 9:05 understandably upset after having left 2 voicemails. I called again at 9:15 and the groomer who picked up the phone hunged up on me after telling me he didn’t have time to hear me «b — -ing and complaining.» I called again later requesting to speak with the manager and got the same treatment. They could have called me to let me know they were running late. Plus while waiting outside and looking through the windows I noticed how dirty they keep their business. Yikes! Condescending employee plus unkept appereance = I am not taking my dog here ever again

Not too impressive for downtown Kirkland.
Called about hand stripping for a Jack Russell, and was told after calling that it would be no problem, and it was $ 40. Once I drove down there however, we walked into a dingy and disorganized looking storefront, and once inside it was off-​putting that no one other than a small child was at the front desk, and we were greeted with loud yelling from the back as one of the employees dealt with what he later described as «family issues» at the top of his lungs while we waited. Classy. He saw us and then had to get the manager, who came out and told us they didn’t do hand stripping. Frustrating, and even though the manager was nice enough about it, my first question of «okay, who in the area would do it» was met with minimal information. Pretty basic screw up and it happens, but at least do me the favor of finding out where I can go to get what I need after I wasted my time due to your disinformation. Overall, can’t comment on their ability to groom a dog, only on the quality of their establishment and the degree of professionalism of the staff. It gets two stars instead of one because the owner (although couldn’t help me find an alternative) was polite. Save yourself some time and go to The Pet Stops Here on Main Street in Old Bellevue; they’ve got their act together.
