I could not ask for a doctor/​surgeon with better bedside manner and professional capability. Dr. Dawson recognized that I had a deeper problem than the «sinus infection» diagnosis that I had been given by multiple doctors right away. Since I underwent surgery, my life has been transformed. I can breathe and therefore, now sleep. My follow-​up appointments with Dr. Dawson are always productive. I met with him yesterday and he recommended a new and progressive treatment for the sinus infections that I am still prone to. I’m excited to try something that doesn’t require me to take another oral antibiotic. I appreciate the care that has been given to me over the past 3 years. Top notch.

I’ve had ENT problems all my life and gone through multiple specialists. The first never mentioned my morphological problem, and the second only told us after 6 months. Dr. Dawson saw it the first time he looked!
He’s got excellent, gentle technique. I’ve been poked and prodded but it’s almost like he wasn’t even there. If I did feel discomfort he was very attentive, and willing to stop whenever.

Dr. Dawson was the first ENT after searching for many years, who was willing to do a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy on me. Most other ENTs wouldn’t touch me, despite my getting 4 – 6 infections a year.
The work Dr. Dawson did was nothing short of amazing. I barely have any pain in my throat at all, and the man even reinstalled my tongue piercing after the surgery, since I had to take it out to avoid potential arcing from the cauterization.
The staff he had working with him in the surgery, including both nurses and the anesthesiologist were also really great. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more comfortable on a table for a procedure than this time.
I will gladly recommend Dr. Dawson for anyone who needs a good otolaryngologist/​ENT. I know I’ll definitely be having him look at my other ENT related problems in the next couple weeks.

Dr. Dawson and his whole staff are efficient, caring, and great at what they do. For two years he had me try different meds and rinses to get rid of my sinus infections. When we agreed surgery was the proper next step, he and his team told me what was going to happen and supported me through it. He is a great ENT. Go see him if you have pressure in your sinuses or ear-​related problems, he can (and will) help. He earns all 5 stars. I have sent friends there who have all been happy. You can trust Dr. Dawson.

Dr. Dawson was pretty helpful to me when I had a very stubborn sinus infection. Unfortunately, we had to try lots of different medications until we finally nuked it (thank goodness)!
I took off a star because I feel like I had a bit more testing than perhaps I needed. With great insurance, I got an MRI of my skull, and then he recommended surgery to correct some issues with my sinuses. Well, that surgery really hurts (apparently) and isn’t always successful, so I said no thanks.
Now two years later with another sinus infection and no insurance, I’m having a teeny bit of remorse, even though there are no guarantees. His office has been fairly nice about helping me this time, though he is insisting on seeing me again before he will treat me… which means that I am going to suffer for a while.
Anyone need a full-​time technical writer/​project manager with 15 years’ experience? I love the contract I’m on but I really do need health benefits! Isn’t life interesting sometimes? :-s

My daughter has an apparently-​chronic sinus infection which is affecting her middle ears and therefore her hearing. This diagnosis from Dr. Dawson is so helpful after three months of active worrying about her situation (I took her to her pediatrician in mid-​January and it’s been two visits to Children’s Bellevue clinic’s audiologists before I was told, yep, she has a hearing problem, take her to an ENT… and here we are, she has a medical problem that could have been fixed MONTHS ago. Poor thing!
Dr. Dawson’s office was great; she gave us an appointment within two weeks and then they were on time. Children’s couldn’t hook us up with one of their pediatric ENTs until late April! My daughter will have had a whole round of antibiotics and a follow-​up with Dr. Dawson three weeks before Children’s would even have seen her! I’m sorry, when a kid’s got a hearing loss that’s causing them trouble in school, eight weeks is too long to wait and it doesn’t seem unreasonable to expect them to get more doctors so kids can be seen sooner.
Dr. Dawson had a year’s internship with kids’ ENT, and it shows… he was good with my daughter and has seen lots of kids so he understands the common AND not-​so-​common problems they can face.
